- Hi guys! You may be familiar with my Pink Sugar Crystals Shower gel video and formula from May 2021. It has been a very popular video and tutorial and really makes a wonderful, traditional shower gel! This is why I call it “The Perfect Shower Gel.” Some of the main questions I get involve how to make smaller batches as well as questions regarding viscosity.
This revised edition will explain how to make smaller batches and what to do if your fragrance oil makes your shower gel water thin.

I love your shirt! Can you place the water in the surfactant phase then place them in a water-bath? Or would it make a difference? Nice gels.
Thank you! Yes, if you place the whole thing in a hot water bath and just not stir so much, it likely will help you to not get so many bubbles, lol!
can i replace the germall plus liquid with which preservative? I live in 🇧🇷 and here they don't sell this preservative. I loved your video :)
yes, you can use optiphen
Do you prefer to use the SCS noodles over the powdered?
Yes, it’s a little easier in some ways because it doesn’t go airborne as quickly
This is great, especially if you are only making a few different types! I'm thinking that this kind of base could be also be used as a base for whipped sugar scrubs? Let's say if you added everything except the water and maybe added some butter or oil maybe an additive to it?
Yes, this has occurred to me as well. I will have to play around with this base and see if I can get a good whipped soap out of it.

I ordered the glucose D. I should be coming in this weekend. Is it considered natural?
Hi Kathy, no glucose D is not a natural product, but if you follow usage rates is perfectly safe. :)
So if it does end up too thick, is that when you introduce a citric acid solution to thin it down or something else? These shower gels are just beautiful! ❤❤❤
You can add a bit of water to your gel by the tsp. if you think it is too thick. I would wait a few days before you add any water just to make sure all the bubbles are out and you have a good idea of the final consistency.

My absolute favorite shower gel recipe! Is there any way to get rid of cloudiness from some fragrance oils? I’ve been lucky there’s only been a few that clouded up. Am definitely going to try the freesia. Thanks again for an amazing recipe!

Can I used sodium cocoyl isothionate-sci needle
I know a lot of people have tried it with SCI but the results have been mixed. Most of the time it becomes to thick with SCI
