    Hi Tara! Last year I asked if you would ever do a Basic ritamulse or olivem1000 leave in conditioner? I’d love to see it. Your other ritamulse emulsions left me w/ soaping. Or only worked as a lotion not hair leave in. Thanks! And Thankyou for these constant uploads ❤️

    • @TaraLeee
      @TaraLeee  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t think ritamulse or olivem 1000 would work well in the hair. At least I know I wouldn’t like it. It’s best to use a cationic emulsifier in hair products like btms 50. If you are trying to use only ecocert ingredients then I recommend varisoft eq 65

    Can I use this as a body bath wash too....I only have xanthan gum as my thickner, so what should replace with xanthan gum pls??
    I have decyl glucoside,glycering,sodiom pca and lactate, coco betaine,preservative...can you pls help me with exact percentage to use pls to make a body bath wash
    Hopwyou get to answer me

    • @TaraLeee
      @TaraLeee  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      this can definitely be used as a body wash. If you want to use xanthan gum as a thickener mix it in with glycerin first at about 1-2%.
      Your body wash won't feel anything like this hand soap since you are using different surfactants and not using honey quat. With the ingredients you mention I would make it something like this
      1-2% xanthan gum
      3-5% glycerin
      3% sodium pca
      5% sodium lactate liquid
      20-30% coco betain
      5-10% decyl glucoside
      .5% preservative (idk what your preservative is, but make sure you use the suggested usage rate.)
      Then the rest of the percentages will be water or whatever else you want to add and make sure it adds up to 100%
      I have a video that talks all about how you know how much of each ingredient to use. I'll link it here - th-cam.com/video/hugHfPr2ZXc/w-d-xo.html I talk about it in the video at 2:30

    Thanks a lot! I have a question. If there is no Crothix liquid thickner, it can be replaced with similar substances and the ratio? And how to use it? I look forward to reply from you. Many thanks.

    • @TaraLeee
      @TaraLeee  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could use xanthan gum to thicken it or another thickener of choice.
      Depending on the viscosity you want to achieve use xanthan gum at .5-2% heat up the distilled water and mix it in with a high sheer mixer then add in the rest of the ingredients.
      Or mix the xanthan gum with glycerin and add in the rest of the ingredients

    Hi .... I think you are so dope 🥰 I have a question about the actigym can it be put in body butter or body scrub

    • @TaraLeee
      @TaraLeee  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks so much!
      no it can not. Actigym is only water soluble. You could use it in an emulsified body butter with a water phase. Same with the scrub. Personally I wouldn't put it in a body scrub since that is a wash off product. Actigym is an expensive ingredients and you will get better results using it in a leave on product.
