This type of information about the dangers of alcohol should be taught in high schools. I mean, how many 21 year old kids know the term 'peripheral neuropathy'? If you tell a teenager 'Don't drink alcohol, it's bad for your liver', they see that as way way into the future, so they don't care, but if the risks of more immediate health problems are taught to them, they may just think twice.

I'm here because I started feeling numbness on my whole body in the morning after drinking. My numbness will sometimes last for a day or two. Im unable to feel light touches and textures of surfaces.

My brother in law drinks beer every single day all day long and sometimes a bottle of vodka. He is 60. His legs have gone numb from the knees down to sharp stabbing pains in his feet. His left hand is now twisted. He won’t stop drinking. He finds it difficult to walk. His family worry about him but he’s not bothered he just wants to drink.

This is tosh. Many alcoholics drinking several bottles 40% liquor a day that don’t get it. Some do. As usual medical profession in hindsight. No warnings on bottles, in the industry of Drs before the event. Telly Drs love the limelight

Actually a significant amount of alcoholics who have been drinking 10 years or more do get it, so now, that simply isn't true, or you do not understand what significant means in medical terms.
