This type of information about the dangers of alcohol should be taught in high schools. I mean, how many 21 year old kids know the term 'peripheral neuropathy'? If you tell a teenager 'Don't drink alcohol, it's bad for your liver', they see that as way way into the future, so they don't care, but if the risks of more immediate health problems are taught to them, they may just think twice.
gives me hope! been a hard drinker for many years but just recently developed pinky and ring finger numbness that didnt go away after 24 hrs, like before. i'm gonna stop consuming and see if it gets better.
@@nicholasgonzales9254 it will! Take any kind of B complex, make sure it contains B12 and take with food . Mine is so much improved even after a month or so now.
@@nicholasgonzales9254 Is it working i'm on day 4 no booze. thing is seems like once you get it woman's success rate goes away. i work on roofs and have done for 25 years. Lets see what happens.
I'm here because I started feeling numbness on my whole body in the morning after drinking. My numbness will sometimes last for a day or two. Im unable to feel light touches and textures of surfaces.
Hi doctor I was drunk lot in my holidays suddenly I don’t remember anything I got injury in my chin and I got foot drop aswell suddenly I wake up morning I was shocked I show to nerology doctors I am using gebapentin and amitriptylin it’s been 60 days I was worried about my life my foot is numb difficult walking now my toes is can move down side I can’t up my foot and toes can you plz tell me how long it’s take to normal
My brother in law drinks beer every single day all day long and sometimes a bottle of vodka. He is 60. His legs have gone numb from the knees down to sharp stabbing pains in his feet. His left hand is now twisted. He won’t stop drinking. He finds it difficult to walk. His family worry about him but he’s not bothered he just wants to drink.
This is tosh. Many alcoholics drinking several bottles 40% liquor a day that don’t get it. Some do. As usual medical profession in hindsight. No warnings on bottles, in the industry of Drs before the event. Telly Drs love the limelight
Actually a significant amount of alcoholics who have been drinking 10 years or more do get it, so now, that simply isn't true, or you do not understand what significant means in medical terms.
