This game is 1080p/720p 60fps on Switch. Not many developers reach this level of quality.

Facts. This is what happens when the Switch is the lead platform when development starts.
Considering the switch is weaker than a ps3 this is damn impressive. Luigi's Mansion 3 was another shocking hit for such an old platform. Ubisoft should stop making 3D games and focus on 2D games. It's what they are good at

This trailer seems a lot more appropriate for the type of game than the trailer we got last year. It's looking like it'll be a fun game!
I feel like this trailer showed a few cracks in the game's design the other trailers didn't, but what i hate the most is the character design...

I Loved The Original Prince of Persia. Can't wait for this version.
My grandpa and I used to play the original Prince of Persia game back in the late 90's on his PC. It was a side scrolling, action platformer like this. Gonna buy this for the nostalgia.

And on top of that it's full cutscenes and action cutscenes giving you that Ubisoft quality..

After Metroid Dread we got to increase The side scroller quality. This is going to be a classic side scroller and this should be the benchmark for all side scrolling games moving forward...

60 fps on Switch, 120 fps on Xbox/PlayStation. Its absolutely amazing how a game can perform when you keep the consoles your making it for in mind instead of just making a game and hoping it runs, as much as we think we've made it that far with technology, we aren't quite there yet. Bravo for making a game like it should be made.
There is a reason why this Prince of Persia game releases this year. 2024 marks the 35th anniversary of the first Prince of Persia game on the Apple II computer.
Have this preordered on amazon for switch after the confirmation that its 60 fps even on switch. Game looks great.

Ubisoft games normally get steep discounts over time. If its not a big online multiplayer game where i need to capitalize on the community being at its peak, ill probably hold off for now... but looks good!
Did they actually make a new game that doesn't use the Sands of Time mechanic, or did I just miss it in the trailer? Honestly, I'd like to see the franchise break free from that arc, and remind people that it was fun BEFORE Sands of Time came out, so this could be good news.

Regardless when Nintendo announces the successor to the Nintendo switch it's inevitable that it's going to happen in the foreseeable future given that the Nintendo switch has been on the market since 2017 and doesn't meet most game studios system spec requirements any longer fit more ambitious game projects.

This is looking so much better than I expected as I was not a fan of the original 2D PoP, and this is a day 1 buy for me, but I hope they aren't using this to gage interest in the SoT remake that's in limbo.
