Funnily enough, the character Ebisumaru is named after Good Feel's president Ebisu. Lately the studio has been making games for Nintendo: Yoshi's Woolly World, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Yoshi's Crafted World and Princess Peach: Showtime.
I picked this up while in Japan earlier this year. Totally recommend it!! So much charm and the gameplay is great. Tons of collectibles in Good Feel fashion, super cool bosses, fantastic level design, amazing visual and audio design-it’s got it all!! Support quality new IP!!
@@VonFirflirch it’s a 3D platformer with heavier emphasis on combat. I still would consider a platformer before a beat-em-up because the goal is to clear levels and there’s plenty of collectibles. In many ways, it feels like a Super Mario 3D World/Kirby and the Forgotten Land kinda 3D platformer. I actually liked it more than Mario 3D World.

The framerate hasn't been too bad in the demo! So far the FEEL and visuals outweigh any stutters. I'm enjoying this era of perfect shielding and lenient bullet time dodges like Kirby adopted too.
@@PC2000Meh, I’ll personally forget about it. Anyways, wario land shake it to me is still one of favorite GoodFeel developed game, still saddens me how wario will never get a 2D outing ever. Epic Yarn, Yoshi whooly/crafted world are great as well but I just really like wario land shake it the most when it comes to GoodFeel’s entire work of 2D platformers.

I love how Bakeru is tanuki in human disguise beating enemies with taiko drum and sticks 🦝🎋 And they have transportation ship/device in the form of giant TEA KETTLE* that transforms into a giant tanuki mecha 😂😂 (*reference to the folktale "Bunbuku chagama")
The closest thing we're ever gonna get to a new Goemon! So happy

Just an update. Got it. Beaten it 100% and was still craving for more. I highly recommend this game as it's a load of fun.
