    For those complaining this video beats the purpose of having a watch, just leave the always on option checked and work on all the other options. My ultra already had long battery but lately I noticed it’s been lasting a bit less. This will make it go back to making me charge every other two days and a half other than a day and a half, if not longer. THANK YOU

    Definitely found this useful especially when being new to an Apple Watch! Because I pretty much had a lot of these things running on my watch, and when coming from my Fitbit which I still love lol… the battery life was definitely better than my Apple but with that being said it also didn’t do as much stuff which I absolutely love about my Apple watch❤ so I hope I will definitely see a little or even a lot longer battery life! I’m a traditional guy and I was opposed to getting an Apple Watch but it has a lot of features and my wife got it for Father’s Day for me. well, then I have it now, even though I avoided it, because usually when I have a watch, it becomes a part of me. I didn’t wanna have to worry about recharging it over and over again I just wanna slap it on and have it there. Thanks for your video. It was really informative and now I feel like I can be more practical with this watch than just having a second iPhone attach my wrist.

    You shouldn't turn off wi-fi. The wi-fi is used to connect to the phone. It uses a combination of bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct. (not wifi over the home router, thats a different thing) You can test this by turning off the Bluetooth on your phone and your phone is still connected to the watch. It gives a very long range.

    • @Slakass55
      @Slakass55 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have to disagree with this. Wifi is a well-know battery drainer. Unless you're concerned about missing out on an auto update, there is no reason for having the wifi on. I just run a test where I sent wife (at work, no wifi there) a text message that I typed on the watch. She also had just turned off the wifi and she received the text just fine. As well as replied and I too received it immediately. I now realize that there is absolutely no need to have wifi on as there are no benefits to it and it doesn't cause you to miss out on anything. And one can always flick it on if d/ling songs or what have you, then flick it off again in order to save juice.

    I really wish Apple made a fitness tracker. I don’t want or need a smart watch, but they have the best tracking and sensors of any fitness tracker besides a whoop. Imagine a Apple Tracker that had crazy good battery life, same if not better sensors, and a very minimal screen design for better battery performance and quick data visualization. Basically, i want a fitbit charge but made by Apple.

    Thanks for the entertaining tips on a very arcane topic -increasing battery life on a watch with subpar battery performance- albeit, in my case for my beloved Apple Watch 3 GPS + Cellular, all the maladies started after update 8.8.1 and the purchase of an iPhone 14 from an 8 that I kept. So I come from 18 hours straight endurance to 8 hours or less after this update. In the Apple help page, me and three stooges more including myself have experience battery duration issues after updating to 8.8.1... Thanks again for the tip! I will try to keep my watch until 10 comes to light!
