I like the way you explain your reasoning for all of these optimization tweaks. You’re a fantastic teacher and that really helps your listeners to make the best devisions. Thanks again.
I wanted to prove something to myself, so I once ran a relatively unscientific test to measure the power difference when 'closing' applications. I used my iPhone 13 mini as I normally would for 6 months (my life and therefore usage are both pretty consistent) and never 'closed' anything to establish a general baseline (which was also quite consistent). I then tried another 6 months 'closing' everything the second I was finished with it every single time. I consistently ended the day with roughly 5-8% more charge, which while not a lot, was both very reliable and obvious; something I found rather interesting. Also, this spanned iOS 15.4-15.7, so there were no major software changes to affect anything.
Bonus tip: that I actually learned so recently, Apple True Tone technology, turning this off can (minimally) increase your battery. Because True Tone is using the front and rear camera and other sensors constantly.
Turning true tone on uses less blue pixels on your screen in a majority of lighting conditions which results in less battery life used. Also more pleasing with surroundings and not as harsh on your eyes
These are actually practical tips without sacrifing functionality like others. But I have to disagree for haptics, especially on silent. When my phone on silent, I rely on haptics.
Significant locations and system customization is required for optimized battery to work. Is there any significant difference in battery life if we disable significant location?

Needs more detailed explaination on Auto-brightness. 5:43 Would it drain more battery if you enable auto-brightness while you’re inside a dark room or inserting phone to a dark pocket, and where the brightness will automatically adjust to high amount?
No Auto brightness saves battery life Even apple says to leave it on Turning off auto brightness may affect battery life and long term display according to apple It’s headache doing manual brightness and suddenly you have forgot to put your brightness down High brightness drains battery life faster
@@tahmidabdin4625 That statement doesn’t answer my question. Maybe there is confusion. In 5:23 somewhere mentioned that high brightness also drains more battery. So if we put it at auto, and then place the phone somewhere dark or inside a pocket, then the auto-brightness will adjust to highest brightness, draining more battery? So if staying indoors, why not just put it manual and always in low brightness? Since auto-brightness will adjust to highest brightness in dim indoor which causes the battery to drain more.
