I printed the Galactic Armory mounts. Has both table top and wall mount options and the same wood dowel idea. Table top works great for painting, wall mount for displaying.
Shelf liner/carpet anti-slide pads might be a workable helmet positioning add-on. Modifying that hanger top into more of a "halo" shape may give you more surface area to apply increased friction for holding helmets in mildly gravity defying orientations.
Save money buying dowel, go to broom handle section of hardware store and get a straight handle it will be far cheaper!! I got 1.8m breo one for $10 but the dowel would have costed nearer to $30.
I just use good old EVA foam for helmet stand tops. Super cheap, easy to attach with a dab of hot glue, and you could probably turn the Top section of the print into a printable template easy enough.
You can try to print a piece in the middle of the pipe so it pushes the helmet forward and support it on its chin. Also if you make it a slidable piece, you can make it for any kind of helmet.
This is very cool!! Def gonna try it, what I’ve done in the past with helmet stands to keep the helmets from moving is using thin foam sheets and adding them to the inside of the helmets with masking tape. that seems to do the trick. Kudos!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I used my 3d pen and some TPU to put some lines across the top of my helmet stands. It works quite well and was waaaaay easier than cutting out foam pads.
Velcro and or Magnets using both you could print a simple very thin TPU spring that uses Velcro that would keep the helmet facing the right way and Magnets to keep it from moving, if the helmet is only for display then itsnpretty somple to put the Velcro magnet If it's part of a cosplay suit, you might want to Strategically, place the Velcro and magnets. So they can't be seen or felt, maybe incorporate removeable padding. That doubles as a way to display your helmet
Can you drop a layer of tpu on top? Maybe load the file in the slicer but only print like the first mm or 2 and then stick it to the top? I feel like tpu kind of snags or grips pla or would in this scenario
Just design a half dome that is a bit bigger("headsize" like) and boolean the triangle base you have now, out (maybe with a 1% enlargement for easy fitting), then print a few, for helmets that need that! Might be a nice vid, from start to end.
Hey! I’m getting a resin printer here soon (Saturn 4 ultra) I was wondering what’s your current favorite resin brand for crisp details on medium sized prints? Was hoping to find some good recent videos but seems everyone is sponsoring specific brands and saying they’re the best.
You know those socks that you now have one and cant find the other one anymore? Fold it and add it to the top mount inside the helmet. It will help it stay in place. Thank me later
Great idea! Frankly built did a similar thing with some of his cosplay swords! btw i just posted my first video, and you along with Joel (3d printing nerd) inspired me to.
Ahh, drywall..I wish I could just simply drill simple holes with anchors..but no, in the UK our houses/buildings are brick...umm because it's freezing I guess!
Cool Magneto Fact: in the Book Magneto: Not a Hero the Anti Mutant Human who Magnus takes out in the book is Cliff from Cliff's Books. He's had the comic shop for over 30 years and Clay Mann used Cliff as Reference. We had the same Art Class in High School. Appaently enjoyed the same comic shop as well. Cliff would order and find me Heavy Metal Magazines is how I found him.

Looks great, your space is coming along nicely!
Nice! But please paint those dowels black!
😂 i was thinking about that but i kind of like the wood look to it as well
Uncle Buc-ee 😁 The display looks awesome!
I use this one! it's fantastic :) Old wooden broom handles work too!
Thin foam on top works great
Where did you find the Sauron Helmet file ?
I need a good one for my Halloween project !
Sucks he hardly answers here on youtube anymore.
I like my neptune 4
If you make the top part more of a disc-like design, that may allow you to hang the helmets without them falling forward.
Switch to Elegoo a while back and havent looked back! Will continue to support them as they support you and also frankly!
that thumbnail is *chefs kiss*

0:03 Uncle Jessy never fails to disappoint! :D
Yeah buddy! That wall look great!
Velcro to hold them in place. The loop side in helmet. Hook side on mount
You can try to print a piece in the middle of the pipe so it pushes the helmet forward and support it on its chin. Also if you make it a slidable piece, you can make it for any kind of helmet.
It's cool to see a lot of the helmets all together.
add a adhesive velcro tab to the inside of the helmet and the wall mount
This is very cool!! Def gonna try it, what I’ve done in the past with helmet stands to keep the helmets from moving is using thin foam sheets and adding them to the inside of the helmets with masking tape. that seems to do the trick. Kudos!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great video Uncle Jessy
Very very nice 👍🏻 🤩
Where can i found the STL from Sauron ?
I used my 3d pen and some TPU to put some lines across the top of my helmet stands. It works quite well and was waaaaay easier than cutting out foam pads.
I like your eyelashes the white spots. Cool
You could always add the Velcro of course you put the soft part on the helmet and the rough part on that device
Man the stormtrooper helmet is insane!
That’s a hasbro helmet 😂🤘I was going to add stripes to it to make it an adidas helmet
Maybe a non-slip drawer or shelf liner. Pretty cheap and one roll should do way more than what you have there.
I love the Galactic Armory ones. Works with US and EU sized dowls, even provides printed stand in if you don't care.
Didn't know about that one. Gonna give it a try. Thx!
I found a really cool, helmet wall clip that uses rubber bands. Its the like other one you printed but prints in place and clips to the back.
Can you share the info on the wall mounted rack to hold your filaments I see on the video ?
A good option is bluetack, a little bit adhesive but without leaving residues
You can try printing the top part of the stand with TPU filament. That should give more friction to the helmets. In theory.
Ohhh that’s not a bad idea as well.
I just did this thanks to this comment! Thanks!
Just spray them with plasti-dip! I did that with my mounts and that gives them a rubber coating and they hold in place great
I also put hot glue on top of one and that worked as well
Blue sticky tack works great to hold it in place. Might be called mounting putty.
Would you recommend the clip on mount printed with resin?
Awesome! I have looked at this file a while back, but seeing it now...I wanna make it!👊😍
Foam sphere cut in half and spray top with flex seal to keep from sliding/slipping…FYI
Woah! That sandman helmet is nuts! I just started the comics
There is also some slightly tacky “woven” look shelf liner that would easily prevent rolling.
Oh! I might actually have some in a closet somewhere! Will give that a try

How cool would it be to have one of the old school mounts behind them? Kraven the hunter style
What did you use the print the sauron helmet
Printing drywall anchors saves a bit as well.
how would we mount a Starlord style helmet?
Some kind of evil-looking purple light to set a glow, either behind, or inside the Sauron helmet might look cool.
Anti-slip rubber feet would be an easy fix, you just need to make sure they are at the places where the helmet / mask touches the resting plate.
I don't know why but I couldn't stop reading your shirt as Bruce Lee!😂 Waaaahhhh 💪
If you were able to , you should have used that second clip for helmets without a removable back. Looks way better that first one.
I use old printer belts with the grip part facing up. Just glue it to the mount.
Ohhh that’s actually a unique idea! Rubberish as well.
Use Magnets to connect the helmets to the mounts!
So glue some Eva foam on the top . Make it slightly bigger than the top peice itself
Jessy, can you give us link to that Sauron helmet. There are a few out there, but that one looks really nice.. Thanks.
Where did you get the file for the Sauron helmet if you don't mind me asking?
Looks cool 😎
I cant find the elegoo rapid PETG filament for sale anywhere...
that Sauron helmet is amazing! where did ypu get the STL for that?!
Could you do something like this for prop/weapon mounts?
Hey! I’m getting a resin printer here soon (Saturn 4 ultra) I was wondering what’s your current favorite resin brand for crisp details on medium sized prints? Was hoping to find some good recent videos but seems everyone is sponsoring specific brands and saying they’re the best.
You should get a Mural Added To that wall,
Maybe by a youtube Artists. Like Ten hundred but maybe Ask his Community?
Maybe use adhesive Velcro to hold the helmets
Excellent video. What level did you use?
i sat it on instagram and wandet to ask you exactly that 😂
thanks for the video! it looks awesome!
I wonder is a shorter dowel would hide the mount?
Can I get the link for the deadpool helmet please?
Velcro’s on the mount, and soft loop on the helmet
Wow, wasn't expecting a Bucky's shirt.
Maybe paint the poles black? Otherwise looks great!
You know those socks that you now have one and cant find the other one anymore? Fold it and add it to the top mount inside the helmet. It will help it stay in place. Thank me later
Where files for that Sauron one?
What about some magnets or adhesive magnetic sheets. Nice video as always 🪖👍🔝💯
First! great video. Got a few helmets of my own and this is great.
Been looking for a solution for this for a while
Great idea! Frankly built did a similar thing with some of his cosplay swords!
btw i just posted my first video, and you along with Joel (3d printing nerd) inspired me to.
Hello friends I'm fans of your content from Indonesia 😊 for the device for design can be on ipad which series?
Ahh, drywall..I wish I could just simply drill simple holes with anchors..but no, in the UK our houses/buildings are brick...umm because it's freezing I guess!
Try magnets to keep them stable
The easy fix is some velcro sticky dots
Do you think bamboo labs are going to make a helmet size printer?
Man I wish I could do this.
order a pack of fingerboard foam grip tape as slide stops
No idea what that is but I’m going to look it up
@@UncleJessy a very inexpensive way to make things not slip haha you can get a decent size pack for super cheap! i use them for feet on my desk prints
Think this could work with 3m command strips? I can't drill into my walls 😢
Hey uncle Jessy do you thin the Neptune 3 pro is good for me I am 12 years old and trying to buy my first 3d printer
thats dope
Paint the dowels black!
Try small magnets
Use Nerf footballs the ones made out of foam they make great padding for helmets stands
Cut up some pool noodles to support the helmet
I should 3D print myself 🤔🤔
PETG FTW
Is Uncle J American? I've noticed Americans saying "three fouths of an inch" rather than "three quarter inch."
🦅
Velcro
Cool idea, but not for me personally. I just don’t want to put 30 holes in my wall.

I Dig the Display Mounts!
