UHPLC Overview - Hitachi Chromaster

In this video we feature the VWR Hitachi Chromaster Ultra RS UHPLC, a system focused on maximum resolution and sensitivity.
The pump on the UHPLC is binary able to establish a high pressure gradient.
Pump pressures can reach 1,400 bar where the unit can run UHPLC and HPLC methods.
The autosampler 6270 is a split loop autosampler, with a vial capacity of 120. 96 well plate options can also be fitted. The autosampler is temperature controlled (peltier) from 1 - 45°C where the unit features extremely low carryover.
The column oven compartment 6310 on this device features a special valve that can allow for 6 columns to be run in parallel (100mm columns), ideal for method scouting. As a standard it has a passive pre-column heater, to regulate solvent temperatures, ultimately minimizing peak distortion or broadening. Temperature range of 4-90°C. Ideal for working with sugar compounds.
The unit features a diode array detector 6430. Other detector options can be fitted.
The VWR Hitachi Chromaster Ultra RS UHPLC features various software options subject to individual laboratory requirements. ChromAssist. IQ/OQ qualification can be performed on the unit if required.
In addition to the UHPLC system Hitachi is also well know for there HPLC systems that are modular and can be expanded on over time. Here the HPLC systems feature a 600 bar rated pump. Core shell technology can be run at these pressures without noticeable back pressure problems. The HPLC version has quaternary pump that allows for 4 solvents that can be mixed.
