    Chinese Street Food on the Ancient Silk Road - Muslim Chinese Street Food - Street Food China
    We made our way to Xining, on the Ancient Silk road, to try the best Chinese street food and halal Chinese Muslim food. We began our journey in Chengdu, and took a 24 hour slow train to Xining. We came to try a ton of street food and specialty halal street snacks. Xining is located in the northwest of China, in Qinghai province, which isclose to the far west Xinjiang province, our ultimate destination of Kashgar. Xining is home to the Hui people along with a sizable population of Tibetans, and the food was fantastic! There were a lot of Chinese street food and Islam muslim Chinese cuisine. Just like you, I love street food around the world, and I travel for food. I came here to eat!
    Street food in China is something I'm always looking to find more of! So we took the train to Xining, China and on our first day, only got to try a little bit of Muslim Hui Halal Street food. But definitely some of the Best Street Food in China that I've tried! The Chinese food and halal food is so good in Xining! I've eaten street food in Bejing, street food in Shanghai, street food in Chengdu, and street food in Hong Kong, all of which has been amazing, but I have to say that the chinese street food in Xining has been some of the best!

    When you think of China, you probably don't think of Islam and Halal food, but that's exactly what you'll find in the Northwest, especially as you make your way further west. We made our way for a food trip to the dusty and bustling classic Silk Road city of Xining specifically to try the unique halal food of the Hui people. This is the side of China not many people experience or even travel to, and we came here to have an authentic travel and food tour. We found a ton of food similar to countries further west, with insane amounts of BBQ lamb and beef leaving me and Ting Ting absolutely speechless.
    Here are the addresses/locations for the places that I ate Chinese Hui Muslim Halal Street Food in Xining, China. You can show a taxi driver these addresses and he will bring you there:
    Amazing Hand Pulled Noodles:青海省西宁市城东区东关大街伊家面馆, 中国
    Delicious Liangpi Sour Jelly noodles:青海省西宁市东关清真寺背后三甲集哈拜力甜醅, 中国

    HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

    See, even in nowadays when tens of thousands of people like you from the west travelled to the west of China. Here in the U.S. you can still find tens of millions of people who believes (or rather chose to believe) that the commie banned all western tourism in Xinjiang cuz that place is a big prison cell. It's great we have people like you helping others (reasonable ones) break through stereotype. On the other hand, it is laughable that almost all main stream media in the west have less credibility on Xinjiang (or China in general) than an ordinary you tuber like u.
    I can't speak for all my people. But as myself. I have to say. 老哥 我给你点个赞。

      Wise Beard Man I know that the Quran has violence things in it. And what you are saying is very true. What bothers me with ISIS is that they just forget about the "But...". Even in Islam there is a law of war, and they just like "Meh, fuk that". I know that in Islam, if you do "crime-ish" thing you will be treated by the law with violence. But there is still a way about how to do it and why did you do these "crimes".
      Example, in Islam a person is allowed to steal IF HE IS SO POOR AND CANNOT TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF AND ONLY 1 TIME DOING IT. So yeah, it's like "Lucky first try" and then the person cannot do that again

    • @marksong8626

      Steffen I just don't get it, sure let's just say that christians are horrible too, how does that make Islam less terrible? They have nothing to do with each other when it comes to being violent. That's like me saying " cancer is bad" and someone all of a sudden coming up and say" but did you know that Sexually transmitted disease is bad too?"

      There's no such thing as Halal foods. It just how you prepared the food ingredients. You can eat any vegetarian food as long as it's not prepared with wine, swine or any ingredients forbidden(haram) in Islam. That is the concept of halal. That includes sushi if it only use fishes & vegetation.

    • @nicholasbridgemohan
      @nicholasbridgemohan 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Trevor AngELo StryderZ no it's not lol halal means clean smartass. Halal food is clean food according to Islamic teachings. It's not ONLY about how good is prepared, not all food is cooked so food can be halal aside from preparations. And seafood is halal as is. You all really shouldn't talk about what you don't know

    I was born in xinjiang the people there are so friendly, nicer than some inland cities. Also the halal restaurants in china are so nice and clean. You'll notice just by looking at the bowls of spices in the video
