Every little bit of extra info from another video like this helps the DIY’er. Thank you.

Great video. Straight forward. I may actually do mine myself.

Does the brown cable end up on the driver side or the passenger side at the transmission?

I have an after market shifter in my boxster, any advice on how to align the shifter? I too have the same issue of the factory alignment tool being no help now.
Also any thought as too why I am getting a double click when I shift? It was there before changing shifters, and the stock one was so worn I thought a new short throw would help, but the clicking is still there.

I don’t think I’ve experienced that double click you are mentioning, with the alignment of the aftermarket shifter it’s kind of a trial and error thing

My question is do Cayman's have exhaust in the cabin issues? Or is that engine cover sealed?

The engine covers do have a nice seal on them but I’m sure it’s possible
