I really like how you work. I have the same sliders, I too think these are the best ones in the market right now. Just wanted to point out one detail that may be wrong: I think the back bolts should be at 49 nm, and the ones in the front should be at 59 nm. This is how it is specified in the service manual. Other than that, I really liked your video and your work, I'm definitely suscribing.
Much appreciated mate! Thank you 🙏🏼 they’re honestly the best quality sliders on the market. I did a lot of research before buying them! That’s very interesting to hear thank you, I’ll certainly double check and amend if needed. I found the Toque settings on a CBR650R website, all shown in a table. Thank you 😎
@@AutoBay Thanks for the manual! But it looks like 49 Nm rear screw and 59 Nm front (if I understand this diagram correctly). You showed your work very clearly, It will make it very easy for me to mount my own, I chose puig but the principle is the same.I wanted to put a link to the page but youtube won't allow it. There is a diagram on this page.....bikesinfotech,,,
I do see your point mate, more coverage around the head of the bolt, less chance of it slipping off/rounding the head/snapping the spanner. Yet the torque on these bolts weren’t high enough for it to be a concern for me using the open end. Appreciate your comment nevertheless 👌🏼
Does frame slider sticks out from left and right equally? Installed them today on my CBR, and it looks like from one side it sticks out for 4.5cm, from another 5.5cm.
Hey, I loved your video, and it made me buy those! I mounted them today and I love them, but... I have one part left over. It's one of the two small diameter shiny spacers. Like the one you install at 10:23 in the video. You also have two, but I can only see you use one. Do you know where the other one goes?
Thanks very much mate! I know exactly which piece you mean, this part must be a spare. As I have not used it either. I double checked all of the official Evotech instruction manual and it was not used, it must be a spare 👌🏼
Hey bro. Just wanted to say thanks for going through this. I've just installed the same sliders, tail tidy and one bar end. I say one bar end because I can't get the left one off! If you've already put your bar ends on do you remember if the left one loosens by turning counter clockwise (left)?
R&G are still great of course! But I just feel like more time and money was spent designing the Evotech sliders, I love how there’s 2 fixing points on the chassis rather the 1. The spindle is definitely worth the money 😎 thanks a lot mate much appreciated!
Are these the same for the cb650r I been looking online and they don't have the bracket like your ones and I prefer multi point of contact ones? Thanks
the crash bobbin on the side with the horn i had to grind 1mm off the spacer as it would not fit no way i tried everything so i took 1mm off and just got it to fit
@@AutoBay yes sir, the exact same brother. I'll send u a pik if u wanna see and a recipe, I got them today and was searching installs and found u. Thank u for such a awesome detailed installation

Thank you for putting this together! Followed along on my CB650R, wasn't all that bad. But the horn gave me a hard time.
What a stonking bike , she's lucky to have you : )
Thanks very much! She certainly is 😉
At 9:03, Don't EVER break a bolt loose with the open end of a wrench!!!!! Use the Box end!!!!!

Hello, quick question, does the frame sliders mount on the frames on both sides or it mounts to the engine case in some places.
Thank you so much for this vid 😭 I was getting so mad this vid helped so much HAHAHA
No worries bro 🤣 glad this helped 🙏🏼🔥
Does frame slider sticks out from left and right equally?
Installed them today on my CBR, and it looks like from one side it sticks out for 4.5cm, from another 5.5cm.
Thank you for this video, you make that bike look like a 125 😂

@@AutoBay thanks mate, that's what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure. Your video was very helpful
Would this sliders work with the new 2924 e clutch ?

Thanks dude will be installing these tmw.
I’m glad this helped mate!
From where did u got the torque settings? Do they come with the installation notice ?
Hi where did you get the torque specs from? Haynes manual says the front bolts are held in with 59nm
Same, i've got 59 on the front ends and 49 on the back ends
Did you have an extra small spacer at 10:25 ? Ive only got a small and large one in my kit. Dont think you used it in this video either.
Good job. Greetings from Spain
Thank you 🙏🏼
Yeah you are right, I have the R&G sliders and the evo tech is better. Great vid, I might have to grab that front spindle too.
R&G are still great of course! But I just feel like more time and money was spent designing the Evotech sliders, I love how there’s 2 fixing points on the chassis rather the 1. The spindle is definitely worth the money 😎 thanks a lot mate much appreciated!
@@AutoBay Yeah I agree
Thats a nice box of tools. Who makes them?
The socket set is from Halfords 👌🏼
Where did you get the torque for each bolts mate?
Forums/owners manual pal
Hi do the sliders come with the tools to install?
Unfortunately not mate. I highly recommend investing in a decent socket set which includes Allen keys
Are these going to do real work if the bike will drop down?
what year of manufacture is it?
Did you do all of this on the side stand?
Yes mate, i didn’t own a paddock stand at the time
Do you need to loctite the bolts?
Do this mount to the frame or the engine?
To the frame mate
