Excellent Bailey. You are so precise and organized making it easy to follow. This comes naturally to you. I enjoyed watching and listening to you. Thank you. Love you. Nana !!!x
Saving this for later since I'm almost certainly going to get an Evotech tail tidy once they're available in the US. Thanks for doing this! I wasn't sure if I was going to have to spice wires or other nonsense in order to do the installation but it all looks pretty simple.
Video is great and explained excellently. I wish you’d show how you out the actual plate on. Mine original plate has divots and don’t really know how to work around that
I’m glad this was helpful mate, I suggest using number plate tape. Adhere the plate to the metal of the tail tidy instead of screws? Could this work for you?
Im just new to town currently living at swindon, planning to buy one of this monster, thanks for sharing the video, have rang the bell hopefully getting to see more videos regarding to this. Cheers

Hello! Nice video! I just have one simple question, should I be worried about cables from LED Liecense plate light? Are they waterproof or should I use some heat shrink tube where they are connected? Thanks!
Just a heads up for anyone doing this with a 2021 - 2023 model CB or CBR 650. Honda has changed how the rear fender mounts to the tail, you can view the guide for your bike on the product page. But it now requires you to pretty much strip down the back end to get to the 4 bolts which hold on the rear fender as they are hidden under plastics.. Also a few differences with how you configure the new bracket with the cables and where its routed so just bear that in mind if using this for any sort of assistance.
I’ve just ordered one of these for my 2023 Hornet, they look awesome quality. What does it look like at night with the evotec number plate light? Did you put a reflector on? I’m not sure whether to or not? Great video pal very helpful 🤘🏻
@@AutoBay I’ve got it fitted now and it looks awesome, very high quality compared to the cheaper ones out there. The LED number plate like looks fantastic and unlike some of the cheaper ones I don’t have a white light visible from behind which is great. I did put a small reflector at the bottom which sticks via a 3m pad onto the back of my 8x6 number plate it actually looks ok, I do prefer it without but don’t want to give plod an excuse ya know. Thanks for the reply mate 👍🏻 your video was actually really helpful even though I have a Hornet the wiring was the same and I followed what you did with the clips on the back of the tail it looks factory fitted very tidy. 🤘🏻
Yes mate bike looks lovely, Im torn between this and the mt-07 I was wondering how this one does on fuel? Ive heard that the cbr may drink quiet a bit I was wondering if its as bad as they make out? Do you know what you average for mpg?
Thanks a lot mate! I was also stuck between the CBR and MT-07. In the end I went for the more reliable and better built bike! (And faster of course) but the MT does sound next level 🔥 mine will do from between 49MPG and 65MPG. Doesn’t drink much at all in my opinion mate, but I also own 2 cars so I don’t need to use the bike each day. Purely for fun 🙏🏼
@@AutoBay Thanks very much man! Yeh im also a car driver but I wanted a bike that going to allow me to have fun but also be cost efficient! I would hate for it to drink similar or more than my car
Disappointed with my kit from Evotech. They must be cheaping out on them now because you don’t get the nice new black bolts in the kit, or the spacers. You have to use the old rusty OEM fixings. 😢
I cannot believe this! Especially for the price. It might be worth contacting them and seeing if this was a mistake? That’s a real shame as I bigged them up for their quality, I hope they’ve not started to cheap out
@@AutoBay They are known for their quality and have a good reputation. I’m still happy with the result, but was just I but annoyed to put the rusty fixings back in. They are easy to see. I’m selling the bike soon so no big deal

Whats the angle of the numberplate on the new plate holder?

Hello! Nice video! I just have one simple question, should I be worried about cables from LED Liecense plate light? Are they waterproof or should I use some heat shrink tube where they are connected? Thanks!
Hi mate, the LED unit itself is of very high quality and built well. I never had any issues with water ingress. I wouldn’t worry mate 👌🏼
Great vid, this tail tidy looks 🔥. Just subscribed.
I’m glad you enjoyed mate. Really appreciate it 🙏🏼🔥

Looks mint what a difference 👍
So happy with the result, way cleaner now. Thanks Paul!
I have one more question. Could i bend the tail tidy so that the angle reaches 30°. Is there any chance that i bend it if i apply some force?
I think it’s doable bro 👌🏼👌🏼
Absolutely epic video!! Thank you 🙌
Not a problem 🙏🏼
Looks great. Why doesn’t it come from factory like this!?
Thanks mate, I thought the same thing 🥲
where can we find the fine red stickers on the tank
Great walkthrough Mate! Shouldn't be the the negative end of the battery disconnected before you start pulling cables apart tho?
Thanks a lot mate! The online instructions never mentioned it pal, I had no issues
Hi, where did you get the torque settings for the bolts??
I have the instructions but it doesn’t say nothing about torque
Thanks
Hi mate. These were from the owners manual and online forums
Can you replace the led bulb on number plate light if it stops working and where can you get the replacement from?
Yes you can 👍🏼 I recommend contacting evotech directly
Hey, do you happen to have a link for the exact tail tidy you have? As there are many for evotech that i see so far. Thanks in advance
Here bro:

Lookin much better, really tidies it up 🤙🤙🤙🏴
Thanks very much mate 😎 very pleased! 👌🏼
I don’t have any of those screws mine is 2022?
Will be worth contacting them mate, I don’t believe the 2022 model tail is much different than the 2019, I believe you should have screws with yours
does this fit the 2023 model?
Should you loctite the bolts back in?
You don't need to disconnect the battery? Thank you for the video!
You do not mate! Thank you

All around badass!!!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🔥
Where do you get it?
Evotech’s website mate
is it for EU plates?
It should be universal mate. The extra brackets within the kit allows you to use any plate depending on where your screw holes are 👍🏼
I assume doesn't fail MOT right??
Fantastic video mate… So easy to follow and understand. You explained everything so well, even an idiot like mem can understand it. 😂
