Ciao, ho installato la stessa valvola su audi tt rs 8j un anno fa, effettivamente appena montata ho sentito la differenza in termini di cambio marcia e di velocità di recupero boost. Dopo un paio di settimane l'effetto è diventato meno evidente e adesso il beneficio è praticamente sparito. Ogni tanto mi va in errore la valvola sul vcds e sento delle aperture/sfiati anomali quindi presumo dipenda dalla scarsa lubrificazione del pistone.

Any idea if can source the actual cross over pipe upgrade. Maybe full silicone or made of another material other than plastic to avoid heat soak ?

I installed this in my vw cc 2.0tsi I did a new diverter valve With the new part and it’s been going strong I did lube it up no issues so far most of times I believe car is just used to the old maybe calibration or sum idk but just a new part should be sum to look into

Disappointed with my kit from Evotech. They must be cheaping out on them now because you don’t get the nice new black bolts in the kit, or the spacers. You have to use the old rusty OEM fixings. 😢

Mmm bought 07 plate recently with known misfire, runs and idles perfectly, smell of fumes in header tank, using some water, mayonnaise in filler cap, diagnostic says “intermittent misfire” smoke is minimal/steam on idle but nothing bad….. any thoughts out there per chance please? 🙏😚🚗

Have one on my MK6 GTI (Stg2) and 8S TTRS (Stg1+). Both have been great, no issues for 4 years. Never lubed either of them. Pondering removing it so I can fit a different throttle body, though.

Really helpful video thank you. From what I found though, the four 16mm bolts should be torqued to 40nm + 90 degree turn, and 60nm + 90 degree turn for the four 18mm bolts. That already felt very tight, so I'm impressed you managed 100nm on them! I already have the Powerflex dogbone bush but relieved to have almost no more vibration from fitting this.

I have the new one that’s a whole unit it self with the electric extension and the top isn’t orange rubber it’s a smaller blue ring

Saving this for later since I'm almost certainly going to get an Evotech tail tidy once they're available in the US. Thanks for doing this! I wasn't sure if I was going to have to spice wires or other nonsense in order to do the installation but it all looks pretty simple.

It looks great but ain't any air leak behind the vents? I read that the vents from 8V are shorter than the 8P ones so some adapter is needed to make it fully work

Day one of getting it you should’ve just got the block mud done that will take care of a lot of problems if you’re trying to put a lot of power through the engine without having the mod block done you will get problems

Thank you for your review. I found the GFP+ definitely smoothed out the power boost profile which equated to a smoother power delivery (not as peaky as the OEM). Interestingly, when I took my car in for service (3rd party, not Audi), he had removed the GFP and replaced it with the latest OEM DV without asking me! Although that was a shocker, I did appreciate the return of the stock feel over the smoother GFP.

Iv just fitted one of these on A5 and better throttle response 100% but only when flooring it. On cold start idle rough and also loss of power like lack of boost when cruising. Have to boot it all the time. Nice video 👍

Just a heads up for anyone doing this with a 2021 - 2023 model CB or CBR 650. Honda has changed how the rear fender mounts to the tail, you can view the guide for your bike on the product page. But it now requires you to pretty much strip down the back end to get to the 4 bolts which hold on the rear fender as they are hidden under plastics.. Also a few differences with how you configure the new bracket with the cables and where its routed so just bear that in mind if using this for any sort of assistance.
