      btw for the geforce u can change the hot key or disable the overlay in the settings, since the default alt+z is for toggling the overlay.

    When i load in a cube, it loads into at 2m, Please can you share the scene settings you have to start with a 2mm cube

    • @cupiopax
      @cupiopax  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I use default settings so it should be correct. Like if you were to export it as an STL file it should be 2mm big even though in blender it might say it's 2m. The best way to check is to export it as an STL file into a slicer program like chitubox. If it's relatively tiny, it's right. If it's actually 2 meters, it would not fit... at all.

      @@cupiopax Thank you yeah when i go into properties with the defualt settings it says 2m, is your units in meters too or in mm or cm?

      @lewisgray1453 yeah like when I add a cube and click the menu on the bottom left that pops up it says 2m.

      like, I'm wondering, when you load a new blender file and have a default cube, does it
      say it's 2mx2mx2m when you click n to go to properties. And are your units set to M with a unit scale of 1 in the Scene> units section? Thank you

      @@cupiopaxI figured it out, why verticies were grabbing onto the subdivision for some reason. I fixed it by inverting the normals

      @@lewisgray1453 Oh yeah that happens to be all the time. Always a good idea to check for inverted normals.
