Changing the origin point is not the object of the video but you are explaining it to make my life easier. that's for me on another level. Keep it Up

I made both way but my decal haven't seen in the cycle engine. Do I have to something different for cycle engine?

as plane it’s just a plane, as decal it adds all the modifiers to make a decal and creates a procedural material
