Yes you give me things no one else does - real visual side by sides of cameras and lenses and stuff I'm considering in a range of weird and whacky real life scenarios perfect for an adventure traveler, but the humour just makes my home nesty times so much funnier to boot. Kinda like how you're getting just a touch more professional in your explainations of what's what. Easier to follow to figure out what I'm going to buy. G9 looked so good BUT not quite... XT4 looks so great but I weirdly want my photos and vids in focus. So I look back to Sony to Canon and back again. Without the money to buy em all XT4 gimme an autofocus update!!!!!

DP Review shows some as Chris walks around in the rain, but Kasey has been using the thing for a few days, I guess. And we get Squirrels too!!!

Looks like a pretty good little camera. I have the X-T4 as well and love it but this may be a bit easier to vlog with. I'm just crazy enough to try it with the 16mm f/2.8. I have the 16mm f/1.4 as well but that thing is pretty darn heavy for my toothpick arms. I didn't think the IBIS was too bad and in the final version it may be even better. Here is my review for the a6400 vs the Fuji XS10: The a6400 has better battery life (1 hr 25 min 4k recording), no recording limit, almost no overheating issues, the best autofocus, weather resistant, but no IBIS and bad rolling shutter. For $100 more the Fuji has bad battery life (45 min 4k recording), 30 min recording limit, overheating issues (overheats around 45 min, then every 8 min after), not weather resistant, but ok IBIS, good autofocus and less rolling shutter. a6400 can shoot mechanical 11 frames per second vs 8 on the fuji. The a6400 holds more images in buffer. For

Fuji lenses were design with pure photography in mind. Its been only few years since they realized that to have a better market, they need to be serious in videography. Their lenses aren't ready... What Fuji needs to do now is update their lens lineup , tweak for video use. This review illustrates that.
Even the Panasonic G9 allows saving video settings in the Custom Dial Settings. Why do all these camera companies build cameras that won't save video settings? It would be a simple firmware fix.
I had to watch your video twice cause on the first watch I spent most of it laughing my ass off. Mate, you are one funny bastard. Your facial expressions whilst comparing the XT-4 and X-S10 with the secret lens was hilarious. Now that I've stopped laughing - I've been waiting for the right Fuji camera to buy as an upgrade on my 4 year old X-T2. Initially I was looking at waiting for the X-H2 or X-T5 and then out of the blue comes the X-S10. For the price (approx $1550 AUS) and what it offers I'm selling my X-T2 and buying it. X-H2 or X-T5 will, I'm sure both be killer cameras when they are released however after owning an X-T2 for 4 years I've realised that it's nice to have the top end specs but not using the camera for professional or paid work I really don't need all the that stuff. Why pay $1000-$1500 more for a camera that you really don't need. IMO X-S10 has everything you need as a hobbyist/enthusiast photographer at a price that won't break the bank and can trade up in a couple of years if need be. I think that too many people are wanting the "perfect' camera at a basement price. No point waiting for it cause it's never going to happen. There are compromises in just about every decision we make. Buying a camera is no different and will always be the case.
Can you confirm that the bit rate for 1080p video is 200 mbs? The bit rate is the most important thing for video but few camera spec sheets ever mention it. This may be my perfect camera.

Just traded in my X-T2 for an X-T4. Love everything about the insides of the X-T4, but hate, absolutely hate, the grip. Even with an add-on grip, it's still too small, AND too short. So uncomfortable, it kinda spoils the camera. That XS10 grip looks about right.

This is it Casey.... The perfect camera at the price point. I've been a loyal micro4 loser user for 50 years (I'm 49).... because of their Small size, IBIS, flip out screen, and low price. This camera seems to have it all, plus it can focus. And love love the toneh on the 16mm 1.4! Hoping Fuji will release firmware updates to fix the few issues you've mentioned.
Doesn't it strike you as a Fuji clone of the E-M1? The big grip, IBIS, PASM dial, compact size. It's like Fuji made the perfect life raft for M4/3's users to jump to.
I have been waiting for Fuji to put a real grip on their cameras. That is the first thing I bought when I got my XT2. When you use a camera like the Olympus Em1 or Nikon Z you realize how bad the shallow grips are on Fujis. Why would Fuji not make a fast 12mm prime. Everybody who shoots Astro with the Fuji has the Samyang. And for vlogging it’s one of the best lenses.
Nice first effort by Fuji of a small IBIS camera to compete with Sony and micro 4/3. Now if they could shovel in a bigger battery and make it weather resistant along with the usual updates to AF the second model should be a winner.
After seeing that great Squirrel fotage i finally realized that you have squirrel vibe, the movements, the faces on those slowmos were on point. She did remind me of you on slowmo crossing the street.
The XS-10 did lose you twice in one of last week's videos, which I pointed out (thinking it was the A7iii, about which you corrected me). A couple times in this one, too. That said, image quality is pretty good and the 240p is cool. This seems to be the camera the M50 Mark II should have been. I'll have to consider it for future purchase after the initial release price drops some (it always does).

Hmm. I honestly think the IBIS on the X-S10 did really good. It’s almost as good as the X-T4. I’m sure a blind test between those 2 cams will be hard.

Set Exposure to Ambiance, that might help with the Exposure changing.

Kasey called it. The X-S10 battery chamber was too small. The X-S20 has the XT battery and a bigger grip. They did precisely what Kasey suggested.
