Sometimes it’s the smallest adjustments that make the biggest difference. With my BK amputation, it is pressure on the bone at the bottom of y stump right below the skin that creates the most problems. I’m constantly getting pressure wounds there and having to go to my local wound center. But my troubles seem small in comparison to what you deal with, Tanner. I really admire your positive outlook and can-do spirit. Keep on keeping on! Love all your videos...

Hi I just found your video and can really relate except I was in a car accident 3 years ago, am diabetic, was in an external fixator, spent 95 days straight in the hospital but it didn't work and had to amputate as I developed osteomyelitis. I am almost 61 y/o. The pain u had in that bone is what I have too. I live 100 miles from the prosthetist. I am considering asking my surgeon (who lives 350 miles from me) to shave that bone down, it's so very painful. The very best of life to you and God bless!

I admire to You Tanner, I see two blogs that You share with all world. You are fighting to become more mobile as the science of Prosthetic legs advanced. Those videos are about 3 years old. I guess, and I believe that You are great now, and Your free movement - mobility it's much better than on those videos. Greetings from Macedonia.

Hey MAN that's a nice stump you have there!! I have 2 just like that I now can have full weight bearing on them, I can even walk around the house on my bare stumps it's like crawling on my knees!! Wish you the best man!! When and how'd you lose yours!!

You do not want an AKA, it will not bare weight, but you should in time, be able to bare weight on leg with full weight barring. This will make all the difference in you walking by able to bare weight on bone instead of on soft tissue. Good luck! Why did they leave your knee cap?

long term you will damage your si joint and your spine. I think throw away the prosthetic knee and just walk without the knee and make both the same length with balance and swing around with a straight leg. At least you would have a balanced waist. Do you get what i mean? don't because of the prosthetic knee and have your spine and waist damage before you get older.
