- You're not really a restoration channel until you post a coffee grinder restoration video, right? Well, here is my submission to the restoration video gods! What I thought was going to be a simple project, ended up being my most challenging yet! This simple restoration ended up using every tool and machine in my shop. Enjoy!

Люди пишут о грубом помоле на такой кофемолке. И сразу приходят мысли. А раньше люди как предпочитали и было ли возможно молоть тоньше? И значит каким образом варили и каков изначальный вкус? Тысячи вопросов, эмоций. Ещё и красота такая. Человек приходил на кухню, брал в руки красивую утварь, готовил любимые блюда и наслаждался каждой минутой процесса. Это так приятно осознавать. Сразу захотелось поинтересоваться историей создания кофемолки, посмотреть на другие экземпляры. Спасибо создателям интернета и компьютера. Спасибо вам за украшение нашего досуга и прекрасные впечатления. )
The sandblasting scene was *exquisite*. Most of the process on camera, especially the final bit of each piece (everyone leaves out the money shot!), AND regular sounds instead of stupid music over it. Absolute perfection. Every restorer needs to take pointers from this video.
I agree, I hate when they put music over the sounds of the work being done. This was a good build. and yes, I'm 9 months too late. :)

Haven't seen you around in a while. Glad to see you still making these videos. The red almost looks like it belongs in a firehouse. Colorful! That is also one coarse grind. I guess some people liked their coffee ground coarse back in the day. I need mine to be extra fine ground lol!
I was thinking the same thing about the coarse grind but it helps if you have crappy filters - it means less grinds find their way into your coffee.
Coarse grind is good for certain coffee makers... French Press and Percolater pots for the most part...
The red color is in keeping with the original color when the grinder was new.

Beautiful restoration! If you turn the knob in on the handled or crank side fly wheel it will draw the grinding burr's closer together to get a finer grind. You've probably figured that out by now. Thank you for posting!
I think your right but it looks like the spring on the other side is missing
There's something so cool about these old machines with the big hand crank wheels on them apart from being very useful they also look so very awesome as a display piece

I love the new box it makes me wonder if someone knows how to cast something like that. I have some questions where is it from and how old is it I have seen most of other peoples restoration of coffee grinders but this one is the coolest looking one
