    this couldnt come at a better time!!! I find that if I keep my fear foods around i will BINGE on it!! What my therapist and I have been doing is getting small doses of it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I ordered this amazon lock box that locks whatever food i want for any period of time (i set it for 24 hrs) and I get that one dose every single day. Take that one dose, then put it in the box, and then do it again the next day!! This has helped me get foods I have removed from my diet back into it!!

    Wow this narration thing is so new. Never heard someone recommend this but I can see it working. I have a challenge of TWO fearfoods tomorrow, so definitely trying this out.

      Good luck! I have found that narrating whats going on helps not be so fixated on any anxiety that might arise when facing a fear food! I hope it helps you! Remember you are worthy and you can do this!

      You can do this! Remember that you are worthy ALWAYS no matter what. What you eat does not in any way minimize your worth!

    What did you eat to gain weight? Were there some favorite foods which helped you a lot?

    I deal with anorexia since I was 11 (I'm now 22). I have been both sides: the side of "I can recover alone", I actually recovered my body weight but I was constantly relapsing since now. But, some months ago I finally started psychotherapy. So, I really think that everybody who wants to truly recover has to have professional help... Otherwise you can recover your weight but never your mental health. Mentally, is a very, very, very complex process to deal with anorexia.

    Hey babe, thank you for this! I am still struggling with letting go of exercise because I feel like if I dont at least walk every day or something than I dont deserve to follow my large meal plan and should restrict my food. Can you talk more about this and stopping all movement and why its important? xx

    • @zoealexiswongg
      @zoealexiswongg  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello beautiful! I understand where you are coming from and I know how hard it can be to get out of the mindset of "affording food" and stopping exercise. I would highly suggest applying affirmations to your daily routine. Every time you eat a meal/snack or have an urge to exercise, repeat to yourself: "I am enough just as I am in this moment. No food is going to diminish my worth. I am worthy always." Distraction, as I said in the video, also is really helpful; as is having someone to help hold you accountable for eating and not exercising. On a scientific note, stopping movement in recovery is extremely beneficial because your body needs to repair and therefore needs to use all of the fuel it is getting to repair your body systems and organs. It can't receive all of the fuel it needs if you are exercising because then the body is forced to give up the fuel it would have used for repairs to then help you recover from whatever exercise you engaged in (hope that made sense?). It is also important to note mentally that having an unhealthy relationship is very unstable long term. Stopping now and really diving into recovery can help you learn to embrace your body for who she is and learn to love her, regardless of size. That way, when you return to exercise, you are coming from a place of joy rather than a place of shame. You are worthy and deserving of food regardless of whether you work out or not. Your body even has a basic metabolic rate, which means it already burns a certain amount of calories just sitting and breathing! I am sending so much love and healing vibes your way! Know that you are not alone in this and I am cheering you on from the side lines! 😄💖 I also suggest watching Tabitha Farrar's videos and reading her book! Both are linked in the description box of this video!

    I'm trying to eat more and I did until I reached my healthy weight but still have no period and that stresses me out, don't know what else I can do I don't want to go to nutritionist so far I was trying to get it back myself, do I have to gain even more weight over my healthy one until it's back or what to do?!! Zoe did you get ur period back or not yet and how you're dealing with it?

    • @zoealexiswongg
      @zoealexiswongg  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If it makes you feel any better, I am currently in the same boat! It is scary, but one of the most important things is to not stress too much about it, as that can often do more harm than good. Most of the time we have to overshoot our set point weight in order to regain a period and eventually we return back to our set point when our body doesn't need the weight anymore. I encourage you to spend this time really connecting and healing your relationship with your body. At the end of the day, overshooting your "set point" shouldn't be a big deal because we have such a love for our bodies that we can love them at any weight and still thrive! Sending so much love your way! We can do this! (P.S. from when I was working with a dietician, it is important to eat LOTS of healthy fats and carbs!)

    Remember that anything that feels like you have to have it, is a sort of addiction. Which, to me, is a very good chance it's SPIRIT POSSESSION. People suffer from this more than we know or understand. And addiction is usually spirit possession.
    Every single fettish, addiction, illness, mental illness, obesity, depression, food disorders, everything we do to harm out bodies purposefully, is usually not our better self doing these things to ourselves. All of this happens when your guards are down. When your immune is low. So, know this, ALL ACROSS THE WORLD, WE ARE ALL SUFFERING FROM SEVERLY LOW IMMUNE SYSTEM. The bad army is winning. So, I recommend you order ZEAL POWDER FORMULA from Amazon, and try this. You will feel much better than you ever have. Anything healthy is awesome!

    how do you know when to exercise again, I am not sure if i can yet? When did you start exercising, and what do you do for exercise?

    • @zoealexiswongg
      @zoealexiswongg  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have been working with a dietician and when I was more stable with my weight and eating enough calories to fuel my body I was allowed to exercise again! I currently am still not doing any cardio, but focusing more on bodyweight exercises! When it comes down to it, you really have to ask yourself WHY you are working out. If it is in response to food or anxiety it is most likely not in your best interest to work out! Moving our bodies is a privilege and that's why when you do a workout you need to fuel your body accordingly!

    hey, my bloating is very bad sometimes, so i would do a little cardio and abs workout to relieve. Can I do that?

    • @zoealexiswongg
      @zoealexiswongg  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would suggest looking into some restorative yoga stretches instead. It's more gentle on the body and in recovery resting is very important! Going on a walk would help as well! Also, remind yourself that this phase will pass! I know it is uncomfortable and can generate lots of urges to exercise but YOU ARE STRONG and YOU CAN DO THIS!

      I had the same issues, severe bloating at times but it does definitely calm down, you just have to stay strong. Do not decrease your intake, your body will adapt. I found going for short walks really helped or having peppermint tea 💕
