Chad I just watched your video of installing the driveshaft! Don't forget to weld those yokes to the tube, don't rely on the tight press fit. Also the rear u-joint may have to be a conversion joint, I know you said you may replace them but this one doesn't look like it's quite the right size. I'm not knocking your build as it is yours to do whatever you want, just making a couple suggestions. I'm liking the actual build just not too sure about the solid diff and the driveshaft. Chad your skills are awesome but sometimes there are things that just don't look right.
Just found you recently and can't begin to express how much I enjoy what you do. We are kindred spirits when it come to figuring out, on the fly , how to solve mechanical problems and issues. I have a company called Two-bit Restorations that I pretty much follow your methods to keep it fun.
Chad, love your videos. Good old "Farm boy" fixin' " see a problem or challenge , and FIX IT ! You don't just think "Outside the box" you kick the box to the side and DO IT RIGHT ! Truly a talented man of vision !
Congratulations on the marriage hope the couple stays together. Fina looked like she was looking for something in the grass to chase around she was enjoying her day. Hope you two are having a good evening. Take Care
Love the way the car is looking probably one of the coolest chops I've ever seen done love how you did the back window and now that you've got the body mounted the front end doesn't look as radically high
I love watching you work Chad the way that you come up with and carry out tasks shows us that we can do it too. You are awesome at your craft. Keep up the good work!
You are making that car look fantastic. The holes that you welded up look great and it matches the frame. Keep up the great work and God Bless you and Jolene and your families. 🔥💯💪🏼👍👍🙏🙏✌😁✌
This build is true to the old school hot rod building back in the day. Build by guys using what they had and making the cars their own. So much better than building from pre-made parts to make a car spending thousands. This is true creativity.
That is one badass machine..awesome hows it's coming together..love those holes...driveshaft in like butter...just gonna look awesome ..well it already does...thanks for the great episode..highlight of my evening..thumbs up Chad and Jolene and Fina
Since the flat head race is basically a "tractor race", I wonder if they would allow you to use the COE to tow the race car over the eighth mile? Might have a faster time being towed.
Love the Dickies work shirt,I wear a 2X. My dad wouldn't wear without the pearl snaps. Takes me back. Jim is coming along with the Olds. That window helped alot. For what he paid, should be bulletproof. You 2 seem so happy. The next one I get will be more like Jolene. Does she through the axe with?
The concept you had is coming together nicely. I like the way the body sat down on the chassis, a unique look that fits the drag car you envisioned. Cool is what I think when I look at this build.
I enjoy watching all the different things you do with the cars and trucks. I absorb everything you do weather I agree with it or not. Keep on keeping on Chad... you only have to impress and prove things to yourself because it's your build. Take care and stay safe!
I enjoy the perforated sill pan. The gasser chassis makes me think of a "rail" with the solid rear suspension. Nice work that Hiltz Auto Col and your friend Jim did on that driveshaft. The wedding day looked great Thank You for making it.
That rear UJ looked to have a lot of movement side to side (4:485:035:10). May need a special joint with cups wider on one axis than the other, or some spacers to centralise the cups better on the diff yoke.
Thank you for what you do! I find it very helpful. Some people tell me you can't do that, but I know that I can and will. You allow me to believe in myself and abilities. Thank you! I would love to meet you some day.
So there was a wedding today of the body to the Chasse of the 35 and it looks great so far all of your prep work has paid off, the Hiltz team of Chad & Jolene has done it again brovo!! Thanks Mark Dutka
Food for thought ,I'd be taking advantage of using the container cut out's lying there and modified a floor plan from them .lol This is a pretty cool build there Chad.
I love the fact that you haven't veered off course. You said you'd build it from scrap and pieces in your yard..and you have..fast, efficient and cheap. Awesome job.
I'm all about reusing parts. I'm not sure I'd trust that u-joint enough to drive with it though. I'd spend the extra money for piece of mind. Also, if you mount the trans side first you can rotate the shaft to make putting the bolts in easier. Love the way it's looking. Gonna be a fun ride.
Hey Chad, Love the progress. Just something to check...are the bolts/nuts you used on the driveshaft high tensile? If they are not, please replace them with high tensile ones before you drive it anywhere. Cheers, Tony
Hopefully the marrying of the body to the chassis will go easier then making the driveshaft. Good job on the shaft Chad I wish I had your patience. Jolene excellent video as always.
This kind if cracks me up. You use the Plasma cutter free hand and get an amazingly straight line. I use a ruler/straightedge and still can't get a straight line!

Artistic expression, I love the way you put it Chad.
Since the flat head race is basically a "tractor race", I wonder if they would allow you to use the COE to tow the race car over the eighth mile? Might have a faster time being towed.
Thanks for the lessons Chad.
Love the Dickies work shirt,I wear a 2X. My dad wouldn't wear without the pearl snaps. Takes me back.

The creativity is so refreshing you can picture something in your head and just go with it and it works so well
Great the way you explain what you are doing and why. Brilliant. Thanks
Seriously appreciate your process! And thank you for it!
Great show today thanks for sharing your time with us again.😀
It's coming together nice. Thanks for the hat!
Learning so much from Chad and Joan. Thanks .
It's amazing how you get so much done in an hour!
Its always good time watching you. Keep doing what you do.
So cool when it starts coming together and it gets stronger and better. Its like an unexpected bonus
I love the progress, thank you Jolene for the video
Another marriage on Bad Chad. This will be a good one to watch.
Best channel on TH-cam - content AND camera work. Great job and keep up the good work!
i've never seen anyone create a custom drive shaft until your channel. Absolutely awesome. 👍👍👍
I'm really enjoying watching this project.
love the daily unedited content . When things go well or its a challenge we get to see it all. Keep up the great videos i watch daily
I enjoy watching all the different things you do with the cars and trucks. I absorb everything you do weather I agree with it or not. Keep on keeping on Chad... you only have to impress and prove things to yourself because it's your build. Take care and stay safe!
such a cool property and a great couple that live there.thanks for sharing
It's looking good can't wait to see it going down the track
Always enjoy watching
BAD CHAD & Jolene
I was thinking the floor qS going in before the body went on to avoid climbing in and out. Jolene is spot on with the camera.
I enjoy the perforated sill pan. The gasser chassis makes me think of a "rail" with the solid rear suspension. Nice work that Hiltz Auto Col and your friend Jim did on that driveshaft. The wedding day looked great Thank You for making it.
enjoy watching the different things going on with this and every other build that you do.
That rear UJ looked to have a lot of movement side to side (4:48 5:03 5:10). May need a special joint with cups wider on one axis than the other, or some spacers to centralise the cups better on the diff yoke.

I like watching bad Chad daily more than any tv or cable shows
What a beautiful marriage! You're just AWESOME. I can't get enough!
Awesome work guys, watching from AUSTRALIA, just finished building an aircraft and love your work ethic.
Awesome seeing the body and chassis come together. Good work Chad and excellent filming Jolene.

Always doing a great job love how you work man you keep us all motivated
It is starting to make sense to me now. Great job. Rob
Thanks for another good lesson
You keep on moving forward with your dreams. We enjoy watching !
It's like they were made for each other. Very cool.
Always enjoyable tuning it watching what you are working on…
Hi Chad.....and Jolene . Love the hotrod ! Just a reminder , I'm sure you know you need more than two Ubolts to hold the rear-end . What's your plan ?
Hmmm. Thought we were going to fab a tunnel before welding the body to the chassis...
Food for thought ,I'd be taking advantage of using the container cut out's lying there and modified a floor plan from them .lol This is a pretty cool build there Chad.
That rear u joint set up is going to need some attention.
makin it work with what you have is true art
So many projects going at once! Impressive
Rear end should be tilted down about 4 degrees to the drive shaft, not straight.
Even with no springs/suspension?
I love the fact that you haven't veered off course. You said you'd build it from scrap and pieces in your yard..and you have..fast, efficient and cheap. Awesome job.
Great seeing the body and chassis joined together. Good work Chad and superb filming Joleen.
today was very good jolene appeared and had no mechanics hahaha. Brazil.
Its looking great , awesome work both of you

She's looking good. It's been exciting watching this build.
Excellent job as always. Great progress. Can't wait to see this thing finished and running.
man love your work and vision 👍👍👍🏁🏁
Hey Chad, Love the progress. Just something to check...are the bolts/nuts you used on the driveshaft high tensile? If they are not, please replace them with high tensile ones before you drive it anywhere.

I love the extra stuff in Facebook. I go there also and watch.
Looking awesome. Not far off Jolene's test run up the yard. Thanks you two for the entertaining videos.
Thank you jolene for sharing chad It’s amazing watching you build these cars from the ground up
Another great day with Chad and Jolene. I really enjoy each and every day with you guys keep up the good work. 👍
Excellent work as usual, everyones a TV critic but you do what you know works 👍
It's good to see you have the drive shaft timed right.
Great job ,thanks for the video
I’m back again to see the most real show on! Thanks for the job you do.
Boy that was a nice view; great camera shot.
Hopefully the marrying of the body to the chassis will go easier then making the driveshaft. Good job on the shaft Chad I wish I had your patience. Jolene excellent video as always.
Encore une fois bravo pour ton travail couscous de la France 💪
Thought you were going to install the driveshaft tunnel first
Great video again, good to see this marriage getting completed by teamwork,it's going to be another one of a kind car, thanks for sharing
Coming along nicely, your on track to get to the race track.
This kind if cracks me up. You use the Plasma cutter free hand and get an amazingly straight line. I use a ruler/straightedge and still can't get a straight line!
Ikr. Unbelievable when he was tacking and pushing the metal up it fit perfectly in length right to the edge... 👍🇨🇱
Awesome work from both you guys...✊
I love the stance on this build.
Coolest wedding I've ever witnessed.
Really enjoy watching
Looking good. Aluminum floor with some bead rolls will look nice in the floor and keep that weight down.
Completed roller, very nice!!!!!
I’m looking forward to seeing the process of installing the aluminum floor on the car, 😎
As a Canadian I am very proud of your channel and your energy. Long life
Just like Joleen;
It’s looking amazing 🙂
