It's great to see the build coming together now Chad and jolene. Still think you should chop the the bottom at the back of the car to get rid of the damage. You can follow the curve around which is about 6inch higher and you could take it around to the wheel arch then square tube it so it matches up. Keep up the great work the both of you 👍
At 72 years old I so much enjoy hot rods and still build them. Chad an his main squeeze are true awesome people with an incredible vision to make perfect eye candy . never stop your dreams Chad I am 72 and have never stopped. Awesome

Hot rodding has always been a catalyst that brings people together. So when this project gets pushed aside most of us will be here to watch the next one.

Shortening the brake pedal will increase the effort required by the driver when applying the brakes. The brake pedal exists to multiply the force exerted by the driver’s foot. From elementary statics, the force increase will be equal to the driver’s applied force multiplied by the lever ratio of the brake pedal assembly: Fbp = Fd x (L2÷L1) • where Fbp = the force output of the brake pedal assembly • where Fd = the force applied to the pedal pad by the driver • where L1 = the distance from the brake pedal arm pivot to the output rod clevis attachment • where L2 = the distance from the brake pedal arm pivot to the brake pedal pad

Yes but first you need to get it moving right? Hard to say if the clutch works without actually getting in the car and pushing on the pedal and seeing if the pressure plate works. The fella that had the engine/chassis before seemed to know what he was doing. I bet the clutch is in good shape.

Your gonna want a little suspension, a leaf across the back, and cow tracks. It will spin to easy solid. A lite spring, adjustable. Tracks are too,pinion angle 4.5 to 6 degrees is another thing that helps dig.all need different depending on wheelbase and balance. I believe the 4 would outrun a v8. That little motor, might be worth to much. I know the cam can't be bought. Have to make one.

Probably not going to get paint on this one Jimmy. Maybe a sign on the door and some checker board paint here and there.
