    Thanks for the video Ferd, maybe a condenser capacitor fitted across the switched contacts would reduce internal arcing and increase the life of the solenoid.. :) Simon..

      Sounds like a good solution. May even help the Chinese made solenoids last a lot longer than they do.

    Good morning Ferd! I hope you are well! I'm working on a sky jack 3226 and I'm not getting 24v on the braker that goes back to the celonoid. Your help is greatly appreciated have a wonderful day

      Doing well thanks. The 200-amp fuse goes back to a main cutoff switch. Follow the wire as they can be hard to find but should be located on that box. It may be in the off position or a bad switch. From the switch it will go straight to the batteries. Your problem will be somewhere between those places. Also check if the curcuit breakers may have tripped or are bad. Hope this helps.

      The model you're working on is a little different so it may not have that big fuse. I miss read that you mentioned breaker and not fuse. The breakers go bad often on all these lifts. See if one side of the contacts on the breaker is hot to see if its bad or if you have to go back further to find what may be open in the circuit.

      Good morning my friend! Thanks again for your advice.. this thing is driving me crazy. This thing is working only front manually but not working fron controls and its not my controller because I took it out of a working unit.

      Test the breaker. They are notorious for burning up.

      Good morning ! It's not the braker I don't have power on either side.

      @@everleon131 24 volts will come off of the little wire attached to the hot wire on the solenoid strait to one of the breakers. If you have 24 volts to the solenoid and 0 at the breaker that little wire would be the problem. The other breaker goes to ground and runs through the hour meter.

      @CaptFerd  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @everleon131 The power from that breaker then runs through the tilt switch passes through the other breaker to ground.

      At 7:11 in the video there is a fuse across the top before it gets to the solenoid. Check it for 24 volts on both sides. It goes back to a master switch and to the batteries. The other side of the fuse 24 volts goes to the top of the solenoid. On the left are 2 circuit breakers check that they are not tripped and working. Glad to help further if this isnt what you were asking about.

      Good afternoon sir! Thank you for taking the time to respond. On the braker that goes to celonoid. There was no 24 v but I noticed that it comes from the negative. Side?
