Thanks for previewing this product, it will be my next order and i just order from them direct meth plate kit with SC spacers and thermal blanket i really like your channel very helpful videos with many answers that i'v been looking for, keep going bro
@@whiplashtv2022 I also wanna say thank you for the video & information . I'm doing the exact same swap on my 5.3 LM7 motor right now with 2.55 Griptech upper pulley. After the Jan 3 , I'll order my thermal blanket and February 202 hopefully order the inner chiller.. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!!!!
@@pucegtr Your very welcome and I appreciate the support. I highly recommend the Forced Inductions spacers and thermal blanket. On the cooling side I did a trunk ice tank and an EMP water pump with a C&R heat exchanger. I highly recommend researching all of that before ordering an Interchiller so you can see which route you feel is best for you. I just bought a Cateye 5.3 LM7 that I am starting to modify on the channel as well. I bet an LSA would be a lot of fun on these trucks!
Checking in to see if these thermal plates made any noticeable difference on IAT2 or overall blower surface temps? I already have a killer custom intercooler system with C&R bricks on my C6 ZR1. My IAT2 run 106-113F during a pull. Wondering if id see any cooler temps with these with no interchiller help.
Yes, all of the Forced Induction Interchiller parts made a difference in how cool it runs. My IATs now stay within 10 degrees or less within ambient temps. They use to run 15-18 degrees above ambient. I also changed the pulley combo to 2.38/9.6 instead of 2.5/9.6 so it is stay cooler with the blower being overdriven more. I did a driving review video that you can see here on the channel.
Hopefully it won't hit the hood on my Silverado. Pretty cool. I plan on ordering the whole phenolic setup too. I swear every time I try to buy a cam it's always out of stock so I can atleast buy these without worrying about them being out of stock
Yeah you should have some room I would think on a truck to fo the spacers as long as it doesn’t get close to the firewall. They help a lot to keep the blower temps down.
Thanks so much! I appreciate it. I did 3 videos of y’all’s parts. I also did an overview video on the 20mm lid spacer and thermal blanket, and I did an installation video of all 3 parts in 1 video. All of these parts made a huge difference in my IAT2 temps, and I will do a follow up video on how well they worked later on.
Very odd how they "pride themselves" on the plates matching ported heads yet I have a set of cathedral LS2 plates that don't match up to my Ported heads and they tell me that it not matching is totally irrelevant.
My LS3 retangle port s matched perfectly. I honestly would be surprised if the matched EVERY head port exact. Maybe’s take a dremel and do a little port matching.
Could you not use these on any ls intake? Seems like if you run a high rise metal intake it may help keep intake air temps down... or does it misalign the bolt hole locations?
I have not tested this, but the bolt holes on the LS3 and LSA heads for the intake and supercharger are in the same locations. So it should work. I believe that it would keep the metal intake cooler. However, your intake air temps on an N/A LS car/truck are read where the maf is way out in the intake tube. So I doubt it would actually lower the temperature way out in the tube where the sensor is at.
They make blower spacer plates for all sorts of different heads. I will find out in a couple weeks when I put the new engine in if it will clear the strut bar with a milled ZL1 lid. If it doesn’t fit, then I may modify the strut bar or just not run it at all.
@@salllom123 he doesn’t have a website or anything like that where he sells parts. I know that he sells stuff like his cams, but I don’t think that he sells an actual stroker kit for someone to put into their block.
Answer every question I had. especially on how it lines up with big intake ports. About to make my order to get them coming!
Happy to hear that the video helped out!

Will this work with just stock heads and clear strut bar with stock lsa lid? I want this 20mm spacer and blanket

Is your old block for sale?
No, it is going to Rick Crawford as a core. I will be selling the LSA forged crank, rods, and pistons though.
