​@@whiplashtv2022 f bodies are in a class of their own. Thankful I learned on those helping a buddy with his WS6 before I bought my 03 1500 haha. Harbor freight has the pliers I'm talking about. I think they run about 10 bucks for a set of 3. If you're careful they work great for hard to reach pinch electrical connectors too. 😊

There is a hidden bolt on each side behind the wheel liner and remove the fasteners under the hood that hold it on and then it should come off. Also disconnect the fog lights and marker lights.

The 5.7 will last a long time, but no this is not the original 350 motor. It has the GM HT383 vortec engine in it.

@@08G8V8 you can run aftermarket speakers off of an aftermarket head unit, which is more powerful than the factory head unit. Obviously, adding an aftermarket amp will help to get out more sound.

@@latashacarter3286 I would think that they should since you had an aftermarket speaker fit in there already. I haven’t done speakers before on a 2009 Corolla so I can’t say 100% though.

I agree that 1999-2006 were great years as well. I fell like the major fall happened after the 2007-2013 truck models with the 2014’s and the 2015+ Suvs.

@@whiplashtv2022 If you need to change a flat lifter and the cam looks fine, is it OK to replace just the lifter? 2009 Jeep GC 3.7L V6 with just over 216K miles. I'm going in to change valve stem seals and want to be prepared for any issues I may encounter :)

At that mileage, I would be replacing the cam as well as all of the other lifters.

@@whiplashtv2022 never done anywhere near that kind of job before, I'm really just going in there to replace valve stem seals. Lifters are right there, so bought a few to replace any that are sticky.

Yes, you need to have both speakers connected. Also make sure that you have the positive and negative correctly hooked up and that the polarity isn’t wrong. That can affect them. After that, play with not only your equalizer settings but also the many sound enhancing settings as well. Also select the size of speakers that you are running in the menu of the head unit. This makes a difference as well.
