Ok. I just binged watched Ep2. With intake cover and valve covers off I would have recommended changing the thermostat and the starter too. My '06 Turbo also had several coolant tubes at the back in a special distribution device. It breaks and leaks. Easy change while all the top stuff is off
Great work so far. Did i mention the driveshaft donut. Change it. LOL

@@fcpeuro It's metallic black (I think it's called "Basalt Black"). Other car submarined under the Cayenne - lots of damage to the aero kit and bumper, surrounds for sport exhaust, and who knows what else... I figure at least $5K in parts and labor, plus car rental and other expenses (the RAV4 for the rental is a lot newer and has some toys that aren't in the Cayenne - but it's missing things like seat heater and steering wheel heater [big deal when it's cold in Montana], and I still like my Cayenne better).

This is the only code that appears.Changed the sensor and it pops up in 3 miles every time after the testing. But,i saw this problem with the gas tank cap and I recall that one time after I filled up the tank the check engine light went off for a few miles. The gas tank cap is the original one,It could be related to my problem too? What do you think? The car starts and runs well, with no problems,no smoke and the consumption is normal! Pretty sure those are 350mm brake rotors on the front, and not 390mm. The largest offered on the 957s were the 380mm, and they won't fit the 18" wheels you put on later in this series. Otherwise, well done! Just looking at it while diagnosing issues with my recently purchased 2010 957 Turbo.

I’d fix one thing, & the next time I’d try to drive the Touareg something else would fail. LOL! I spent several thousand dollars in parts, I couldn’t afford being broke down on the side of the road, I sold the car for $1,000. The person that bought the car replaced a couple thousand dollars in parts, but the car would still quit running. My suspension went up & down on command, with no problem, I replaced all front suspension ball joints, control arms, bushings, broken vacuum lines, battery, power steering pump, high pressure hose, spark plugs, fluids, filters, rear hood struts, fuses, vacuum pump… then the gears stripped in the right side mirror, & the headlights started doing weird things, and then the suspension would lift the car when the car would get to 80 mph… oh yeah, then the dash stopped working, but the sound system was great. The Touareg only had 140,000 miles on it, body & interior looked almost like new. I bought a 1997 Toyota 4Runner, with 275,000 miles, replaced the fuel injectors, all vacuum hoses, & lines, VC gasket it just keeps running. I have a 2007 Mercedes Benz C230 Sport with 250,000 miles on it that is resting while I freshen up a 3.0 to install in it.
