The button is to disarm the interior sensors for the alarms if you lock your car and are leaving a dog in the back of the car when running into the shops etc .
It’s just nuts for me, a spaniard myself, to see the infinite options you have in the US to modify your cars. Over here, we have so many absurd regulations that, even having all the money in the world, make impossible to be as creative you guys are. Enjoy that incredible ride Larry, you deserve it all!!
The professionals shown in this episode are craftsmen at the top of their game. Attention to detail, knowledgeable, hardworking, proud of their skills and nice down to earth individuals. Nothing but respect and admiration to them.
Absolutely. I could get something decent for a lot cheaper, but seeing work and love of craft reminds me why it's worth doing more slowly to save up a bit extra and do it right with love and excellence. We need more of this in the world. And certainly more on my rig.
The best part us to see Larry smiling from ear to ear, just like a kid on Christmas day. I'm very happy you are having such a good time, you deserve it
I haven't even finished the video, but I had to pause to say that I'm sure when you travel to these places, it certainly isn't cheap and I imagine its a lot to coordinate especially going into active operational shops, but seeing eurowise's shop and in house fabrication was awesome! Larry, if you're ever on the fence about going or not going when making future content like this, the answer is always yes! I'm too impatient to keep waiting, so I gotta see this thing through! Thank you for sharing this journey and experience with us Larry!
ANNND finished. This very possibly might be my favorite build to date! The attention to detail in every corner even in places you'd never typically see is incredible. I appreciate you introducing us to Eurowise and can't wait to see more episodes with this beauty in the future! Also, did you give it a name?
I love German Diesel. This diesel Cayenne is so very rare. I know that Porsche made a few diesel Panamera's as well. This is also very cool. So glad to see it go off road too. Thank you.
Nice choice. Those turbodiesel engines are very strong and powerful. A turbodiesel engined car is the best choice over EV. You can run over 600 miles without a refill, which is crazy.
The craftsmanship top to bottom is really impressive. One of those things you may not notice from 50 feet away, but as you get closer and take it all in, more and more details slowly come into focus.
What a great video! The amount of detail that went into the car is mind blowing! What a treat! Congratulations on the new car and as always keep up the amazing work Larry!
Vredestein was, and always will be a Dutch tire manufacturer. The first big factory in Enschede (Netherlands) is still operating and is 20km from my house. So never forget that 👍🏻🇳🇱.
Yeah, the history on the tire in this video sounded weird to me so I looked it up. The company actually started less than 10kms away from where I live (Loosduinen). Never knew that.😁
When I had my WK1 SRT 8 jeep those were the tires to get. Then they stoped making them. 275/35/20 fronts 315/30/20 rears. I think they were made for bmw x5-6 but worked well on srt8’s
The yellow dot on the Vredesteins should be matched with the valve stem - not the red one. Yellow is the “low spot” of the tire - match with the heaviest section of the wheel assembly. The clip of the Lightning showed them mounted correctly. Won’t make much of a difference once balanced but usually results in less weight required and a lower road force value.
Thank you for showing all the work that went into this build. So many people just say "so and so" did amazing work. It's beyond amazing to see all the talented folk who make stuff like this possible.
Absolutely killed it! I have been with this channel since the first few videos. Long time ago and seeing you come all the way to this point is absolutely heart warming my man. Loved every bit of it! 😊
Congrats Larry on one of your best videos, and a beautiful build! I love how you feature the work of like-minded artisans and craftsmen. AMMO never disappoints!
6:18 “for whatever reason” - I've seen almost all your videos, there is certainly a reason!!! Nice meeting you in Sydney the other day as well. Looking forward to my MR2 getting the Ammo treatment.
God help you in you get stuck and have to get out and dig the mud out around the tyres then get back into that lovely fabric centre interior! I guess its never a problem with you being one of the best detailers out there! What a fantastic build. Looks great and not too over the top. Classy.
Congratulations Larry. Hell of an achievement to make it to a point in life to be able to build such a badass ride. Kudos to all involved and I especially love the engine signing!
Absolutely fantastic video and edit… Great build Larry, I was smiling with you the whole way as you shared all the details! Perfection sir, perfection!!
ok i normally don't like suv or big cars but this is absolutely something i will use forever. all the people involved in this project were amazing, and so much skilled! congrats on the switch, i really love this custom porsche! now next up: detailing my new cayenne because i had so much fun with it lol.
Fantastic video, much appreciate the attention to detail (in the build as well as the edit) - but i wouldnt expect anyhting else from you! Inspiring for my Cayenne 958.1 build.
That button is to disable the sensors in your alarm. most audis from B5s and up have them. The purpose is that most of the interior trims have motion alarms. so this button allows you to enable your alarm while you sit in the vehicle. or stick your arm in an open window. Scenario 1: button is active and you have your window rolled down and alarm is active. if anyone sticks their hand or anything inside the window. alarm goes off. Scenario 2: button is disabled and you have your window rolled down and alarm is active. if anyone sticks their hand or anything inside the window. alarm WILL NOT go off.
Absolutely love this build and the content from it!! I heard the new purchase announcement on Matt’s podcast and anxiously awaited this video to drop. It did not disappoint! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Very nice build! Those Eruowise parts are rad! Hoping to get a few of them on my CD in the future. What wrap did the shop put on your Cayenne? Has a super nice matte sheen to it. I love how it keeps the original color while still customizing the look of the car.
you are not just a supernerd; you are part of a league of supernerds. I love it. you did not spend enough time on the engine and specs. another episode.
Amazing work from all involved. It looks so authentic and a real cut above most off road mods you see. Nice to have a different type of vid on the channel too!
As the owner of a Cayenne Diesel in the exact same spec BONE stock without about 5x the mileage, I’m very intrigued by this build but also a little sad inside it’s no longer stock. But it’s your car and I can’t wait to see how it turned out!
Although I would be perfectly happy with that thing in it's stock form I can't help but admire what you did there. May you enjoy it. And diesel just works for that sort of application and there are some nice oil burners in those things.
hey Larry, while I think the overlanding theme doesn't fit the Cayenne (personal preference, of course), I can recognise the sheer effort and epic craftsmanship that went into the build! I hope it serves you well for many years to come :)
I love love love our 2013 Q7 TDI. I've pulled a 31' long camper trailer with it, and it just didn't care. We can then turn around and average 28.6mpg at 68mph average speed on the 2.5 drive between our house and my daughter's volleyball tournament.
The button is to disarm the interior sensors for the alarms if you lock your car and are leaving a dog in the back of the car when running into the shops etc .
Or the windows open 👍
Agreed my 2002 Audi a4 had the same button
2000s Volvo have such buttons too, I learnt it recently!
100% correct.
Or on a Ferry.
That upholstery work is insane, easily the most impressive part of this whole build!
I would lose patience about 5 minutes into that restitching process. Impeccable attention to detail.
Says an upholsterer 😆 The new cloth center sections will definitely help keep you from sliding around when maneuvering terrain.
That guys putting houndstooth in my gt3 touring when I win the lottery 😂.
You the goat for not dragging this out over multiple videos. What a banger.
It’s just nuts for me, a spaniard myself, to see the infinite options you have in the US to modify your cars. Over here, we have so many absurd regulations that, even having all the money in the world, make impossible to be as creative you guys are. Enjoy that incredible ride Larry, you deserve it all!!
Same here in Egypt.....
yeah America truly is the "wild wild west"

The new tachometer back numbers are for petrol engines! :D

Perfectly stated
Amazing work

Let's not forget towing too
I regularly get close to 700 miles out of a tank on my Cayenne Diesel -- mostly highway driving though.
@@ChileVuela Nice, that is over 1000 km. :D
@@legioner9 it's almost 1200km on the highway! It's pretty insane.
100%AGREE! The first that came to mind was, Larry grabbed the power and an engine that will last decades
The craftsmanship top to bottom is really impressive. One of those things you may not notice from 50 feet away, but as you get closer and take it all in, more and more details slowly come into focus.
The professionals shown in this episode are craftsmen at the top of their game!!! Love it)))
Upholstery is a real art, beautiful work on the seats ❤
My only complaint is the video was too short! Live your car builds! Congrats
The attention to detail is what people can only dream of. This truely shows the meaning of you get what you pay for. Amazing work.
All of the workshops from this build are on another level!
Another amazing build Larry, nicely done! I love your attention to detail with each of your cars.
Thank you!
They make the best classic cars tires! Very expensive unfortunately

We men never grow up we make our toys bigger and louder and at the end we get the joy of making these things happen, amazing job loved it.
One of the best videos you've ever made. This is awesome and I'm in awe at mikes shop and work
Thank you for showing all the work that went into this build. So many people just say "so and so" did amazing work. It's beyond amazing to see all the talented folk who make stuff like this possible.

finishing up my install, definitely have some JRZ-envy. Just did the Puck lift on mine. Eurowise is Awesome. Deserve all their growth.
10:48 the new 9y0 gen overland build is so sick! Can wait to see the rock sliders
I have never wanted a Porsche until now. That car is insane.
6:18 “for whatever reason” - I've seen almost all your videos, there is certainly a reason!!! Nice meeting you in Sydney the other day as well. Looking forward to my MR2 getting the Ammo treatment.

10:50 Benny the shop boss takes his job very seriously! I hope you brought him treats!
very cool!
big ups to Eurowise
Love to see a diesel get some love, especially for an overlander!! Can't wait to see more of this thing
Congratulations Larry. Hell of an achievement to make it to a point in life to be able to build such a badass ride. Kudos to all involved and I especially love the engine signing!
Welcome to the club!! I absolutely adore my 15 Cayenne Diesel that I’m slowly doing an overland build on. We also use Eurowise! Great company!
This build is nasty 👍🏻. Can we take a second to talk about that in ground hydraulic lift at Eurowise. That’s so cool
Fantastic video, much appreciate the attention to detail (in the build as well as the edit) - but i wouldnt expect anyhting else from you! Inspiring for my Cayenne 958.1 build.
I have a 2013 Cayenne Diesel in really good condition (214000 kms).....wicked ride....can only imagine what this transformation cost...whoa!!!
Omg that truck is absolutely beautiful, the matte was a great call and those seats😍
Way cool Porsche Larry, good luck with it!!!!
Great video. I truly admire all of the craftsmen that do such phenomenal work and show such a meticulous eye for detail. Bravo.
Incredíble build! Love seeing these cayennes getting the love they deserved! Congrats Larry and all the teams involved!!!
Absolutely sensational! ❤❤❤❤
Being on a relatively small island, I don’t see next level design and fabrication like this. What a treat. Enjoy your new ride ! Aloha from Maui.

Absolutely love this build and the content from it!! I heard the new purchase announcement on Matt’s podcast and anxiously awaited this video to drop. It did not disappoint! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great build, Larry! Awesome project! Showcasing talented pros…curating neat products. Thanks! 👍
Fun fact, the Spare on the Touareg and Cayenne is also a Vredestein tire
Talk about a complete 180 from electric to diesel! Enjoy your Cayenne Overlander!
PS: Love the doggo cameos!
Very nice build! Those Eruowise parts are rad! Hoping to get a few of them on my CD in the future.
What wrap did the shop put on your Cayenne? Has a super nice matte sheen to it. I love how it keeps the original color while still customizing the look of the car.
The matte wrap looks so good with the factory color
Love the finishing line, Larry!.. Another great episode brother
That ending was *chef's kiss.* amazing video; thank you for giving us insight into the upper echelons of so many different industries.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Aight, I saw Mike in the beginning so I know you are about to have quality parts on that rig
Incredible
Shifter knob and seat inserts are incredible.
That Upholstery Craftsman.
Impressive.
It was great meeting you and having you at the shop! Enjoy the Cayenne 🫡
Congratulations. Best AMMO NYC show ever. Enjoy your ride!
Using the original "stich holes" also makes for a much stronger stitch, thats an old tailor move, great to see!
😮 In-sane, WOW! I love it! Pleasure is guaranteed, haha, enjoy man..cheers! 😊
Dude, this is totally rad! Now I need to have one! thanks for a sick video. I really love build videos!
Porsche forever! What a build, well deserved and earned Larry 💪💪💪💪
Probably my most favorite episode!
Porsche diesels are cool, and the build is insane. I’m obsessed though with the EuroWise lift that comes out of the ground… that’s a clean lift.
That is awesome Larry. Drive it in good health!
such a perfect build, all the people involved made the video special.
you are not just a supernerd; you are part of a league of supernerds. I love it. you did not spend enough time on the engine and specs. another episode.
Amazing work from all involved. It looks so authentic and a real cut above most off road mods you see. Nice to have a different type of vid on the channel too!
Gorgeous Porsche and epic content! Your explanation of the process and beautiful outcomes are beyond impressive! Big thumbs up.
This is one of the best segments you’ve ever produced!
Pumped for you Larry, thanks for sharing!
I LOVE that shift knob. So clean and unique!
The houndstooth and new shift knob are a great touch to the interior. Great job by everyone involved
What an insane build💪
Awesome video Larry. Looking forward to the first wash 😃
That's one sick Porsche Larry!
As the owner of a Cayenne Diesel in the exact same spec BONE stock without about 5x the mileage, I’m very intrigued by this build but also a little sad inside it’s no longer stock. But it’s your car and I can’t wait to see how it turned out!
Love my Cayenne Diesel. It's nice driving from Palm Springs to Sedona on one tank of fuel.
You deserve it Larry. Awesome build man🤙🏽🤙🏽
Awesome video Larry. Thanks for sharing. Be well
Great build! I'm curious though if the rear tyre is blocking the rear right lights, and if this is still (street) legal?
Although I would be perfectly happy with that thing in it's stock form I can't help but admire what you did there. May you enjoy it. And diesel just works for that sort of application and there are some nice oil burners in those things.
Great work pointing wheel cap crests toward valve stems
I love my Cayenne diesel its been one of the best cars I have ever had!
Seats look absolutely fantastic!
hey Larry, while I think the overlanding theme doesn't fit the Cayenne (personal preference, of course), I can recognise the sheer effort and epic craftsmanship that went into the build! I hope it serves you well for many years to come :)
congrats Larry, this rig is amazing!!!
Looks incredible, the end result is BOSS!
Love it!! I bought a 2013 Cayenne for the same reason, mind you... with many, many more miles lol.
How much does a build like this would cost?
Probably 3-4 times what he payed for the actual car.
Thanks for this awesome video! This must have been a lot of work❤
Congrats Larry !!! The final results were amazing. Have fun !
Bro!!! This is an awesome video. Everyone is cool but the guys at eurowise are on it.
I love love love our 2013 Q7 TDI. I've pulled a 31' long camper trailer with it, and it just didn't care. We can then turn around and average 28.6mpg at 68mph average speed on the 2.5 drive between our house and my daughter's volleyball tournament.
Awesome set up. I love my RIGID lights.
The seats are the highlight for me.
Love the exterior and interior touches. I would've went in the opposite direction and lowered it with the OE wheels, maybe in black.
