@@chokeizm unfortunately it doesn’t always work like that , some insurers will request the manufacture and model number, I’ve had a van fitted with a system that I could track personally but received no discount as it wasn’t on their authorised list.

@@youraveragejoe1 looked like he was a young kid, it may have been a bomb to insure it for the theft cover, or found it wasn't worth it. Due to how often these are nicked, and put the money towards a decent tracker. Which was worth its weight.
he was actually lucky the thieves were clueless as that little bike could have been stripped in minutes. As the guy said they have been found in much worse condition.
I love how you've made the game of radio fox hunting into legit business! This is good fun trying to work out what components you've used to make the devices. Recently been experimenting with bluetooth trackers and they are crap.
Bluetooth trackers are actually a lot more effective than you think. It relies on a large user base to work well. By giving up with them, you are stifling the progression of the system. Why not just put a bluetooth tracker in the item you want to track as a redundancy measure?

Unfortanely the thiefes damaged it but the costumer still got his bike back and may be able to fix it. Also the AMTrack giving the money that would be used to the tow truck to the costumer to help him to pay for the parts he gonna need it's a nice toutch! When a company stays so close to theirs costumers, understand and do it's best to help it's awesome and not common nowadays. I don't live in the UK but if i did and needed a tracker device on any equipment i would absolutly choose AMTrack. Keep up the good work fighting back the thiefes and stay safe!
Hope they notice the hole in the side cover before trying to start it. Sad story but I know they'll get this back up and running, I've got much worse bikes back alive before :)

TBH we cannot take the full credit for this idea, it was suggested by a customer some years back and we thought.... why not . We have to say it is a truly great idea and addition to our services, always well received. We do this for all customers these days 😁👍👍
What a rewarding job you have, It must have moments of frustration, even if it is on the behalf of your customers. It would be nice to link your systems with photo & video recording and cloud storage capabilities to help with prosecution and recovery. Love this channel and watched and liked every video. I know this guy didnt have theft covered in his insurance, but wouldnt that be more affordable than this tracking service. Sorry just different here in norway where all insurances cover theft so if your car is stolen, youll get reinbursted the amount it would cost for a new or used one after youve contacted police and the vehicle is flagged etc ofc
I do of course see the sentimental part of it and my cars are my babies, however if mine was stolen (which is extreeemely rare in Norway) and i got an equivalent or even better one back id be pretty much happy. As its included in even the most affordable insurance
Bike theft is not included on third party policies in the Uk and in bike theft hotspots like this, the price of a comprehensive policy far outweighs that of a tracker and tracking service. Even then, the spiralling cost of the insurance policy if you made a claim would make it even more prohibitive. Tracker is the best option in this case for getting the bike back and not having to suffer an insurance claim.
You can't beat the service standards of the smaller to medium sized private company there will be thousands of companies like ours around the globe who's owners similarly strive to be the best at what they do. These owners truly understand that looking after customers for them is their main focus. Albeit that to do that they must remain profitable. Thanks for your comment 👍👍

Got a BikeTrac GPS tracking device on my 2016 Yamaha MT-125 motorcycle. It was one of the first things I put on it after my 2019 Honda PCX was stolen from the car park where I work around two years ago now. Had no chain on the damn thing, and it disappeared while I was working hard. I've put so much security stuff on my current bike, along with the tracking device and DataTool Stealth S4 C1 Red alarm/immobiliser, so I've learned my lesson the hard way. Most of us learn from horrible past mistakes, and try our best to avoid it happening the second or even third time.

I can understand that you need to go out of your way a lot of the times in order to meet and exceed customers expectations from your recovery services. So many amateur and professional thieves out there, its unbelievable.. But then again, there's huge business being made out of theft, of course. Year after year, over 80,000 motorcycles are stolen each year in the UK, they just disappear from outside people's home and from car parks and are never recovered. So always chain those motorcycles to something, or use a croclock, just don't leave them about with no security on them at all.
Another great recovery, maybe a dummy tracker like this one might be a good idea in an easy to find location so the bandits don’t do so much damage finding the genuine one.

Lot of bike theft in Southampton. I see it on a daily basis. Usually centred around Millbrook and lordswood.
