Refinishing the short bed CHEVY pickup truck in open air, "BASE COAT CLEAR COAT" and no flow coats

The fenders, the doors, the cab, the bed, the tail gate, the filler panels, all are sanded and prep for color. We painted the vanilla color first then taped out that section in the middle from front to back of bed, continued into the tailgate. Then we paint the red in accordance on the cab, fenders and on the bed, also the tail gate and the two filler panels. Then the clear coat application and it all came out with "minor trash on the finish." We have a new paint booth and gearing up to get it up in the next building, but from over 35 years of experience "we know how to get a super clean paint refinish in open air painting."
