Hi Jake! I rode by you on a bike on the Schuylkill River Trail and said hi that night. At the time I didn’t know about you, so I was really surprised to see a real cowboy with 2 horses on the trail. I wish I had stopped to chat. Since then I have watched all of your weekly videos. I’m not a horse guy, but I love your story. Good luck on the rest of your amazing journey! Adios!
New Hope is beautiful. When I lived in Jersey my mom and Grandmother woùld go to New Hope to the Madame Alexander Doll Shops.....that was in the 70's. Absolutely beautiful area. And yes, New Jersey is nuts with traffic......best of luck to you getting through.
Congratulations on 3,000 miles. Jake you have been making great videos. I love seeing our beautiful country. Please be careful in N.J., that will be a nerve wracking place. Will be praying for safe travels.
Nice video Jake. Making great progress. The baby fox is so cute ❤. Please be very careful on your way to New Jersey, all that traffic 🙁. I've been watching your videos from day one ☺️
In Exeter it was just a fire whistle. Some areas have old sirens dating back to war times. So awesome to see you in my neck of the woods. Original. Form Hamburg, PA now Pottsville area. Welcome to PA. Safe travels!
Have a nice ride with you and your horses totally love mustangs. They are the most amazing horses on this planet. They'll take good care of you as long as you train them right LOL
Thanks for taking us along on your journey. We have traveled all over our country, but you have taken us to so many places we have never been. We love your upbeat attitude. Shame on the "honker" but it's just another experience.
It was a pleasure hosting you, Denver and Eddy! You're always welcome whenever you're in the area! Where are you at in your travels? My parents and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as you continue your journey, especially in this heat. Blessings!
Right now we're in Sunbury. Thank you again for your kind and generous hospitality. Folks like you and your parents are the reason I can keep going and your support and encouragement mean a lot!
Tornado sirens! You have done such an amazing training job on your horses, those boys have major love and trust in you! Congratulations on 3000 miles! Stay safe ! Not throwing any shade at the New Jersey folks but most are not very nice on the roads! Praying for you and the boy’s safety 🥰🙏🏻
Hi Jake. Beautiful country. #1 cars honking hello? or getting you ready for city traffic! #2 weatherbsiren testing. Once a week here in ok , on Saturdays. #3 robot mowing grass. Happy trails to you. Love and blessings to all ❤❤❤
I saw you when you were on a backroad near my house in Denver PA. My friend saw you outside of Hanover PA several days before. She posted it on Facebook and several days later coming home from the gym I saw you outside of Denver. I thought I was seeing things. Keep going…………..you’re doing great.
This was another great video, Jake. Im seeing our country through your eyes and it's been great!! That siren was likely a weekly test, which is typical of the small towns out here on the Oregon coast. They do it for tsunami warnings here!! Again, thank you for bringing us along with ya. As always, you remain in my daily prayers and every 2 weeks your name is added to the temple prayer roll. Stay blessed and we'll see ya in a week! Love and lotsa prayers! ❤🙏🏼🐴🤠🐴🙏🏼❤️
Congratulations on making 3000 miles on the backs of Mustangs! I really wish you would talk a little more about the wild Mustangs and the plight they are facing. But kudos to you and your horses being able to make the trip so far. That is a great testament to their endurance.
If you’re going through Sullivan County Pennsylvania you’re welcome to overnight with my husband and I. We don’t have a barn but have a 5 ft secure large (209x250 ft dog yard for the horses.
Your horses are looking fine and are standing the test of time. Sounds like you have encountered more rude honkers than goose honkers. Loved the playful little foxes. You are almost there on the wings of many prayers. I am hoping you make it back across the Rockies before serious snow flies.
Tornado siren, they were probably testing it. I served my Mission in Independence Missouri, I've been through a few tornado storms. Scary to hear those when its looking really bad out! Great update Jake, this is such an amazing journey, keep being awesome!!!
Hi Jake Looks like the weather is very pleasant where you are. West is experiencing extreme heat wave. It will be moving East this week...Temps in Redding Cal 119° Vegas NV 127° hope it breaks up before reaching you and horse's.........
I always get my google maps out so that I can see where you are. You're almost to the east coast now! Woohoo! you GO Jake! I grew up in southern Ontario, Canada, and know it's quite humid there in PA too. Do you notice the humidity much, coming from Utah? Ya. I'm glad to be living here in Colorado! Nice and dry, like Utah. Horse shoes. Wow, that asphalt really chews them up, doesn't it.
I ride a 13 hand Mustang out of the Challis Idaho herd. She walks 3 to 4 miles an hour. I'm just wondering how fast your horses are walking on the level ground and long it takes you to cover 20 miles on average?
The boys walk 3-4 miles and hour just like yours. If we ride a 20-mile day it takes us 7-8 hours depending on the terrain and that includes stopping every 2-2.5 hours for a 20 minute rest.
Yeah, another commenter mentioned that. I've learned that a lot of places in this country are not pronounced anything like they are spelled but this one might be the winner. 😂😂😂
@@jakeharvath sorry about that lmao 😂 But yeh, Pennsylvania is a pretty largely dominated German place. I assume you walked through Deiberts Valley A lot of people pronounce it Deeberts but it's Dieberts
Beautiful country. As for rude people, they are everywhere. Riding my motorcycle through Yellowstone Nat. Park and a Cadilac put his bumper on my knee and forced me over. Then blasted through a 25 mph zone past a flashing sign that said watch for momma bear with cubs. Washington license plates.
Sorry that happened to you. After riding horses on so many roads, I know that motorcyclists sometimes deal with the same risk and indifference from drivers. Stay safe!
Why in the world would people honk at you like that! Doesn’t matter if your horse is bomb proof; that is only 99.9%. The .1 is always a doozy. They were probably just honking to let you know how inclusive and accepting they are. 🫤
It hasn't happened in any other state so I don't know why. Luckily the honking didn't spook Denver and Eddy and I was able to keep them calm. Counted my blessings on that one.

Noon, check of emergency alarm sirens. Every day at noon in most small towns in Eastern states
In the Midwest as well.. It freaks me out every time!

Here in Mississippi we have the Saturday Noon Alarm too😂
Weather siren. Or the 12 o'clock noon bell
Great video. Loved it!!! Be careful.

Stay Sage in all the traffic. Looking forward to the next video!

Fire whistle for volunteer fire fighters or 1200pm lunch whistle
Yes, where I grew up, that was for the volunteer firefighters
My fire company had the siren until a few years ago.
Congratulations for making to the east coast
Wow so amazing ❤
Another awesome video. Always looking forward to the next one.
As always awesome video. Thank you for sharing your story and adventures.❤❤❤
I'm excited to see you coming to NJ. Welcome!! 😁
Just in time. I was starting to worry about you. Good morning ❤❤❤
We have a siren like that in our town that blows when there is a fire or an accident on the freeway. It's for the volunteer fire department.
I’ve so enjoyed watching your journey. 😊
Tornado alert
Godspeed!

I've been through a few tornado storms. Scary to hear those when its looking really bad out! Great update Jake, this is such an amazing journey, keep being awesome!!!
I'll bet that was an awesome place to serve. I served in Honduras and Denver. And the sky have been clear so no tornadoes thankfully.
Sounded like a emergency alarm for small towns that have volunteer fire department we have them in Delta Utah
I hope it wasn't that but you could be right.
Yr an icon Jake, and an inspiration. Keep on keepin on, brother.
That's mighty kind of you to say. Thank you and thanks for watching!
Here in the UK, some people honk their horns is support of An Endeavour. Might they honking that way too? Good luck with the next stage.
Hi Jake
Looks like the weather is very pleasant where you are. West is experiencing extreme heat wave. It will be moving East this week...Temps in Redding Cal 119° Vegas NV 127° hope it breaks up before reaching you and horse's.........
Hey there I have 30 acres in Woodward PA you can camp out at. I moved from NYC for a better life and found the land that's surrounded by Amish Farms!
12 o’clock whistle
You are near the nuclear reactor in Limerick, PA. They test that alarm regularly.
Great videos your were I lived ..
Been watching you since the first video it's been a awesome journey!
Thanks for your support and encouragement. It means a lot!
If you think the horn blowing is crazy in Pennsylvania wait until you get to that crazy state of New Jersey people over there are nuts

Humidity is something I've been in for a while on this journey but I don't think I'll ever get used to it. Definitey prefer the deserts of the west.
@@jakeharvath ya, me too. And the mountains :)
sounds like you are in an episode of Lost! that surprises me about the honking.. especially since Pennsylvania has a high Amish population
I was surprised too. But other than that, I really liked PA.
3000 likes for everything about your journey! ❤🐎🦊🐎❤
Canada Geese 😉
Canada geese, not "Canadian geese"
In Arkansas that is Tornado warning test every Wed at noon
Mountain Man alarm.
If the river has a dam that alarm is signaling the beginning of the generation
Sure enjoying your travels! How’s the white horse doing? I bet you’d like to have her back. Stay safe out there!
I did an update on Bella a few weeks ago. Here's the link: th-cam.com/users/shortsFnn-F6b8oL4
Was it the first Wednesday of the month when you heard that siren? That was just a test.
Maybe the alarm was 12pm clock
Actually groundhogs are true hibernators during winter. Good on you for your stamina! Rick
You are going on an amazing journey and may I ask what part of Montana are you going through?
Tornado siren

Awesome. Saw you here in Pennsylvania. By the way Schuylkill is pronounced Skookill 😂
Yeah, another commenter mentioned that. I've learned that a lot of places in this country are not pronounced anything like they are spelled but this one might be the winner. 😂😂😂

Was that the Schuykill River? If so, is pronounced skoo-cull (like culling a herd)
Thanks for letting me know. I've learned that so many places in this country are not pronounced at all like they are spelled. 😂😂😂
So true! Like Buena Vista, VA (near Abingdon) … I’d expect it to be bway-nah veesta. Nope. Byoo-nuh viss-tuh. Haha!
Sounded like a tornado siren test.
Nice video as usual!!
Your beard is going blonde 🙃🙃
Tornado
Robot lawnmower
Tornado warning. God bless you Jake.
In PA? We don't have those. It was a volunteer fire department.
drive the load ahead? what load?
Are the horses bothered by the foxes at all?
