The FA20DIT wrx doesn’t have a fuel pump in the tank. It has a high pressure mechanical pump that’s on the engine. The sending unit sits in the gas tank.
cjsporl there actually is both a fuel pump in the tank and a high pressure mechanical on the engine. When running e85 it is suggested to switch out both.
Which Accessport Map did you use to drive to the shop for the dyno tune? Did you have to stay out of boost the whole way? I have a tune coming up tomorrow and was wondering. Currently Stage 2, J pipe, Intake, Intercooler and EBCS. Thanks!
I’d consult your tuner. Mine sent a custom map to drive over on. If not stage 2+ but be very gentle on the way over. The EBCS measures different than stock so be very careful to stay out of boost. Good luck with the tune!
Earned the thumbs up no doubt!!!
Hey man thanks the vid. Just waiting for test pipes and I should be good to prep for tune. Already got the cat back
Nice!
When I did my compression test in my 04 wrx all cylinders were just shy of 180

Would i jus go to a service shop or body shop to get these things checked
you can do them all yourself! Or take it to your tuner
