Nice show and tell. I am in the process of removing my JDM unit. What was the model number of the pioneer system you used as replacement. how was the fit?.

I did not use Pioneer. I replaced the stock Subaru AM/FM cassette unit with the Dual XHD6425. I selected that model because it had HD radio and it could read MP3 files from either data CDs or a thumb drive. It has a lot of features and a fair price. It fit in perfectly.
