From experience, I can tell you just using oil is okay, but you can make your growth more effective. I'd recommend either a derma-roller or a derma-stamp. It's basically just tiny little needles that prick the skin and force new growth.
I personally have used a derma-roller covered in some hair growth oil and it's sprouted many new hairs on my beard. Still very patchy, but I'm nowhere near as patchy as I used to be. And I use it very inconsistently.
And for another tip, I use that same oil and rub it on my eyelashes to make them thicker and longer.

Balding is lymph stagnation caused by eating cooked foods. Most ppl succumb to it eventually but the lucky ones who have strong hair genes can usually preserve their hair till 60-70. You can reverse it or at the very least stop it dead by eating a 100% raw fruit diet. Not easy but you will stop hair loss after 6 months on fruit. It could take years to regrow.

    • @PersonPersons-kh3bg

I remember comparing my right side hair line to my left when I was 18 and being pretty worried about it because they're different, I think hair line worries effect most guys and should be talked about more. Fast forward I'm 42 years old now and my hairline hasn't changed....i wasted many times worrying about something for no reason, all that worry was just paranoia. I feel like your hairline is no problem, you have good hair. I like the fact that you're an honest down to earth guy and really hope the hair concerns don't play on your mind because you end up forgetting everything you have going for you in life and focusing on 1 thing. • @Naturally-Fragrant

I'm seeing no change to the hairline. And if you're counting individual hairs, bear in mind that a healthy head of hair can shed dozens of hairs every day; so if one particular hair is or isn't there, it doesn't necessarily indicate either new growth or loss.
Also, might any negligible effect be caused by regularly massaging that area of your scalp rather than the product? Maybe rubbing ketchup on your head everyday would have a positive result too.

    • @l0rri666

Yes, I was thinking the same thing about rubbing the skin. I had that happen when I scratched off a small skin tag sort of thing on my hand. A little bit of hair grew there. Same thing happened when I got cat scratch fever, hair grew near the wound area on my leg, maybe from rubbing the skin while putting on topical medicine (?). But I definitely don't recommend that latter method of growing hair. 😄

Such small gain cannot possibly offset losses in same amount of time. If men with male pattern baldness lost only like 3 to 4 hair in 8 months, none of them would go bald because it would take thousands of years ;-) The only 2 things that work is finasteride/dutasteride (which I do not recommend because messing with hormones is usually a bad idea) and minoxidil :)

In my own deep dive on the hairloss subject I came across a man called Robert English and he's been able to treat patient's hairloss with simple scalp massages. You'll notice on old men who have been bald for a while that the skin is stretched tightly over the head, becoming shiny and scarified. Throughout our day to day lives we contract our facial muscles and especially if you exert yourself. This over time causes tightness and the scalp doesn't move around like the lower part of the head, so we have to massage it. Personally I like to use a gua sha stone and emu oil on my scalp. Green tea concentrate all over works wonders as well.

Right now you feel like a conspiracy theorist literally counting a hand few on possibly new hair follicles. Even if those are new hair follicles and the hair is actually thicker than before it is so minimal over an 8 month period it seems not worth the time. There has to be a better method for this for sure. Plenty of comments suggest needling which might be something worth researching. Even then you have a great hair line and appear to have great hair density. I don't think this is something you should greatly concern yourself with right now. Anyways, keep making great videos.

And you can apply it way more easier, I just add rosemary oil to my shampoo (fragrance free, silicone free, ph neutral shampoo), shampoo my hair with it every day and leave it in for a few minutes. If you actually have thin hair or early hairloss it makes a real difference. You'll feel the difference after a few weeks and see it after a few months. It is actually proven to be as effective as 2% minoxidil but it's much cheaper, has no sideeffects and with this method, is way easier to apply. Don't expect any magical results though but my hair looks and feels much stronger and thicker even without a substantial amount of actual new hair follicles.

I guess it hasn’t bothered me since I just accepted it in my late twenties. But I do think most women wouldn’t date a bald dude unfortunately. But looks like you have a long term SO I think, so I wouldn’t worry. Women lose hair too so they can’t get too cut-throat about it if you go bald. I honestly enjoy being bald. My widows peak is more pronounced than yours by quite a bit, and I have no reason to think I am losing my hair or anything (it is thicker and longer that it ever has been). For reference, I take MSM and horsetail orally to help with pain from a connective tissue disorder and have used rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner for years. But the male pattern baldness from what I have heard always goes back to you match your mother's father. Fingers crossed that isn't true as my son has his dad's thick beautiful hair, and the picture I've seen of my biological father he is bald.

Even in the before you had the best hairline I've ever seen in any male human above the age of 16. (And you are nowhere on the Norwood scale). And you really can't compare single hairs, not all follicles are in their growing phase at the same time, just because there is one hair where there wasn't one before, that doesn't mean anything, hair can grow at different places at different times that doesn't mean it's a new follicle. And again, you're not balding, not in the slightest, you probably had the exact hairline since puberty.

from my understanding rosemary is a natural dht blocker which is the main problem for losing the hair in male apo pattern baldness and your hair my friend is 100% healthy its not looking like dht is even affecting you in any way, so what do we expect the rosemary to do? we cant even see a difference in color because your hair is like super black black. For me for example with real male baldness pattern problem slowly increasing the last 6 years, there was 100% a difference by using rosemary water. several people ask me without them even knowing what i do "did your hair got darker? (im blond so they will notice it really fast) because what also happened with my hair falling out, my medium dark gold blond lost a lot of his saturation in the last 3 years it was like a filter as if it loses 50% of color saturation. after only 2 months rosemary water my hair became way darker and the thin hair became thicker. its not like i got double amount of hair or something but some new hair and it was way more thick i would assume like 40 to 50% more thickness which made it atleast look like way more hair even when the amount was prob the same. So conclusion here is it will only have effect if the reason of your hairloss is really dht.

You need to microneedle the area whilst applying the rosemary!

I am very skeptical this would do anything for regrowth, especially according to your results, but potentially good for maintenance?

  • @revolt61275
    @revolt61275 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

I tried rosemary and olive oil, and I've started to see results after like 3 months. But the new hair disappeared again in less than 1 month after I stopped applying the oils. The point is, it's not a one time fix.

My experience as a person slowly regrowing their hair, is that i now think of hairloss as being caused by a bacteria getting out of control on the scalp. Ive noticed since i started balding that there is inflammation at the base of the follicles. Keeping this at bay has led to slow but consistent regrowth on my head over the past 2 years. Sunlight seems to help with this, and diet plays a huge role(mostly fruit and staying well hydrated is the way). But the easiest trick ive found is to wet my hair thoroughly with distilled water once a day, this doesnt work with other water for some reason. This fends off the inflammation and allows the slow but consistent regrowth. U however probably have no hairloss besides a tiny bit of an adult hairline, that is normal for any man after his late teens, i suspect this has something to do with our browridges changing shape as we reach adulthood, kind of like a end of puberty signifier. So no matter what u do, u may not see regrowth.

would of been neat if you did your castor oil experiement into the right side of your hairline. I'm using a combo of castor and rosemary on my hairline but I only just started

Bruh. I don't think you've lost or gained any hair since you were 10. You didn't get to a Norwood 2, you just have an angled side hairline naturally that slightly resembles the Norwood 2 side profile drawing. The Norwood 1 isn't just where everyone starts and everything else is hair loss. Seriously if you can't spot 1 hair missing after a year, you aren't losing your hair. Stop it! 😂

I'd highly recommend watching Lab Muffin Beauty Science's video on this before you keep going. "Rosemary oil for hair growth"
I know how it feels to always be wanting to go down the more "natural" route. But just because it's natural, doesn't mean it's safe or effective. Get advice from experts in the field your experimenting with and then decide for yourself whether or not you should continue.
