  • Kurt Angle is a 14-time professional wrestling world champion, with titles collected in WWE, TNA, and Japan. He is in both the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Champion, and has also won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games with, as he likes to say, ‘a broken freaking neck.’ At every stop in his career, Angle has reached the top of the mountain, and now he’s taking his Three I’s; Intensity, Intelligence, and Integrity, to the podcast world as he joins host Conrad Thompson to take a look back at some of the matches, feuds and moments that turned an Olympic gold medalist into one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time. It’s True. It’s damn true

@Bourg Productions it is the opposite , randy has always been one of the WWE favorites , ever since a young age till this day he is still a mainevent wrestler . This is why they gave him a 10 year contract back in 2010 , and even now that he's 41 the gave him a 5 Year deal with a 5millions salary , if they are not kissing his ass , they fear seeing him somewhere else.

This is not a WWE thing. It applies to any job. Develop a good relationship with your superiors. It’s not about “ass kissing”. People in those positions are often job and results oriented. Developing that relationship means showing them what you can offer and that they can trust you because you have the ability and you’re committed. If you don’t do that you may have the ability, but they have no way of differentiating you from the other 10, 20, 50 people who do the same job as you.

  • @Padge112

Austin dropped a line on Tough enough years ago that fits here. I've used it in my life and it works. "Don't be meek and don't be weak."
Especially with your boss building a work relationship pays off dividends. And if people call you an ass kisser it's because they can't or won't play the game. But why should you and your families success be hampered by jealous people, your own fears and apprehensions.
Just bite the bit and do it.

I know a lot of people don't like that vince took over nxt but like if he shows up to a show these nxt guys can finally grow that relationship quicker then growing that relationship then finally growing it 3 years in. If change is really going to happen in 2022 for the wrestling business then that's going to be great for me to have better writers in the business. Then I have been waiting for the last decade for something good to happen because nothing really has been enticing me to watch wrestling. It's been the same kind of content for the last 10 years

no disrespect at all to Randy because he's a legend but that shouldn't have to be the case. That's such an old-school thing to do where u basically gotta market yourself to Vince. What's the point to get signed to the company if Vince can't figure out what to do with you. Your body of work should speak for yourself, yes u should always have a great relationship with your boss is important but they should know the abilities of the talent they sign.

Randy Orton makes a lot of sense but like you said business is business weather you like the guy or dislike him your personal opinion on a person is your personal opinion. Business and Personal don't go together Personal opinions should be irrelevant in a Business setting because letting a personal opinion influence a business decision it doesn't end well you can love someone to death but if they're the absolute shits at the job are you gonna put him in charge of running an entire area now the other guy you may think he's the biggest cunt on the planet but if he's the best one you put him in charge of running the area

That's pretty much because he's so ingrained in WWE's employment and the only real company he considered competition died 20 years ago. He honestly should've retired in the 2010s.

So make sure to get on Vince's good side as, unlike Triple H, Vince has no idea what good booking is anymore and what talent is.
