Handshakes are important because they serve as a universal gesture of trust and respect, establishing a positive connection in both personal and professional interactions. They signify mutual agreement, sincerity, and a willingness to engage in meaningful communication or partnership.
Not every person thinks the way you do. Each person is different. Forced handshakes are like forced marriages and partnerships. The other party should feel the way you do about handshake and it should be mutual.
@@Divyamshu-ij3ucI understand where you're coming from, but a handshake does not have to mean you agree with everything. It is a sign of willingness to engage, willingness to have have some form of cooperation and establish connection, and the fact is that you don't have to respect someone to show them some respect. If they give you a reason not to thereafter, that's a different story. It doesn't have to represent everything the OP said, But it is an Olive Branch nevertheless

That's a little bit of a ridiculous picture you're painting there, but I understand nevertheless. Your viewpoint is that we have to thoroughly understand each other and you have to develop a deep sense of respect for me before you can even take the simple act of extending your hand for a handshake. So when you meet someone new you refuse to shake hands? That would indicate some trust and security issues there. I understand the dap up and half hug with your best of friends being reserved, but a handshake is a pretty simple gesture of greeting and you're putting far too much meaning into it. Making someone earn a simple handshake before you even know them would indicate some judgment and arrogance in my opinion and make me not care to even think about being good enough in your eyes to earn a simple handshake. Now that's probably not where you're coming from but you need to realize how you're coming off if you project that sort of energy with people. Just saying my friend, the world is not here to earn your trust and the majority of it could care less about it. Unfortunate as it may be but none of us are the center of the universe. It can also be said that putting forth a handshake, especially in business, indicates you are putting out an offer of integrity on your part and by the other person accepting the handshake, they are agreeing to put forth the same. It's a mutual exchange that does not mean you agree with everything in life and does not have to mean you have some profound respect for each other either

Guessing here…guarantee means minimum amt that year. Assuming your injured and unable to compete.
Because it's a physical job and guaranteeing 2M to someone who might be injured can be a real problem
I guessed that Stone Cold was the highest paid wrestler.
Shook Vince’s hand during Christmas time at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. Was exactly like you’d imagine it.
Don’t tell me he r*ped you 🤦♂️😡
A regular hand shake
Simp
Was his hand sticky?
Ended up earning 15m a year ✨
Smart move by Vince
7:57 Fuck that Flips, Disrespecting the American flag is unacceptable. If you’re an American, show respect for the flag instead of placing it beneath your feet.
@@dreichert1438 You achieve your goal of achieve 'willingness to engage, cooperate, connection, respect' by speaking to me. Not by grabbing ppls hands and shaking their hand, without their consent. Not everybody hold the viewpoints and opinions as you do.
@@Divyamshu-ij3uc understood, but if I extend my hand you have the choice about whether to extend yours. How often do you see people walking over and grabbing people's hands from their side?
@@dreichert1438 there is no point in shaking hands of strangers, in my opinion. you can do whatever you feel like doing with your hands, but not with me. Just because you extend your hand, does not entitle you to receive anything. You sound a bit entitled
Pat so rich and still sells flip-flops and t-shirts.
Please post the full interview
Well this ends the debate on who was more valuable to the company The Rock or Stone Cold
Still glad PBD talks and listens to all sides❤
The dude is a scumbag.
i want 2 million dollars. He knew, & Vince knows, Rock was a better talent than Austin. Look where he is now compared to Austin. Year (2000) was WWE's most successful year ever & who was carrying the company? "The Rock" not Austin. Who made the amount in one year? "The Rock" He will always be the GOAT.
Spot on. Rock took the company to its greatest heights
@ As good Autin was, "The Rock" was just a bit better all-around.
Why did the algorithm direct me to the Shyster channel?
Most people don’t know he made his money from an M L M. I’m impressed with how he was able to switch it up and be known as a TH-camr.
Vince is what he wants you to see.
Are we blocking the comments? 450 comments / 150k views? Regardless, DJ was a stand up guy. Now seems like a careful corporate well worded puppet
So that’s the reason why the rock has his own business. He literally understood the business from inside out and created his own wow that’s really awesome I respect that 💯
The rock GOAT 🤨☝🏻
He should interview John Cena
The ROCK went on to be come one of best WWE wrestlers
That shit can add up real fast.
“I wanna take this brass to places it’s never been before…”
So now the Rock is trying to take credit for WWE taking off? 😂😂😂
Well he did in 2000 WWF business didn’t drop with Austin in facts it was their biggest year in 2000 as far as house shows attendance, PPV buys, TV ratings on cable and network tv.
The rock put his all in when Austin got hurt. He put his personal differences aside and did what he could.
It's no wonder he wanted out so quickly.
I've never heard this story before. I'm guessing the Rock was the subject of envy amongst some of his work mates.
Handshake & Look em in the EYES
so they can steal your SOUL🤔
Knowledge is a Super Power
15 million per year?? How could Vince afford to pay the Rock that much in the 2000s? Roman only gets paid 5 million per year, and this is after all the inflation too.
Right! Roman now they are making more money from wrestles today!!
Vince was paying paralegals 20 million for their spectacular non-legal services
@@Quinten4M2000 was a boom period which he mentioned plus Rock and Austin were selling ppvs and merchandise through the roof
Vince never paid based on what you vould be, he only ever paid based on how much youre worth at that point, R15 million is absurd and Dwayne knows it.
How you would know that
Lmao , yeah dude , because nobody in hear believes you know Vince better than the Rock who's known that dude for over 40 years.
@@NCWUniverse He doesn't , he's full of shit
Dwayne also said he ate Chick-fil-A for the first time twice, but what do I know about Chick-fil-A right.
Rock said he wanted Cody Rhodes to main event mania, the plan was actually for Rhodes to pretend to be injured so Rock could.
Keep watching your Rock movies and playing with yourselves.
It was well over a million, but 15?? Nope
He would only earn that much after his movie making stints. Know your facts b4 coming at me
I ain’t gonna Lie! But this channel has really went downhill, Considering he used to do interesting podcasts with people. And Now it’s all about Money Money Money and who’s Making the Most and who’s Not. Like who cares! 🤦🏽♂️
you have to be so boring to only be concerned about money, I completely agree
Fr.
PBD has always been about finances and capitalism. That doesn’t mean that’s the only thing he cares about. He still has very interesting people he talks to about religion, politics and the state of the world. You must not watch his content very often.
@@Pred439 Not Like this though! Cause Now it’s Mainly Just that, and that only. Or at Least that’s all he talks about Now! I know back then it was Just him talking to people and that was it.
There’s no money in trying to keep a pro trump podcast and these guys no it- you not getting The Rock interviewing Nick Fuentes and Kanye not the sponsors(see the views on this)
Vince McMahon..: "Now you understand the business, you're going to make 15 million this year".. .
Dwayne Johnson..: Wow.. .
Vince McMahon..: But, first, (ZZZIIIIPPP).. .
The rock ☠️💀☝️💪🦾😱💯♥️♥️🌹🌷🎗🎗🎗
The whole 7 bucks thing would be more believable if The Rock didn't already have his foot in the door in the business. Regardless he would be a wrestler.
He didn't have shit through the door. Just cause his dad was a wrestler, it didn't guarantee him anything. The crowds did not like him at first. He was almost cut from the roster. It's obvious his success triggered your insecurities.
Vince was the real game
VINCE relied on others work to persevere.
Maui must not be forgotten
In Vince we trust!
Good education!
Did he ask him about Smackdown ?
Ask The Rock about his famous SNL skit. Since you say you care about kids.
Right!
what is on the skit?
Illuminatiiiiiiiiii confirmed
He is a joke
Exactly. Remember he contributed to this political mess by making an ordeal of voting for biden
Vince is the best ❤
Dear Rock! As great as you are, please spare us the "brass ring story" we all know it's BS! 😜 Why? Because that "brass ring" was always given and not earned! I don't say you didn't earn it, but if there are many wrestlers who also worked their buts off and they would never ever have goten it! Or because Vince didn't believe in them or even just because Vince didn't like someone for whatever reason.
Had no idea the Rock was so loaded while in WWE. Could have retired in 2003 and still would have been rich just like stone cold
Two absolute snakes, wpuldnt trust a word Patrick says not would I like rock.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6
So you tell me that the rock make 15million in1999 and today roman reigns taking the same price unbelievable 😮
So that means stone cold probably have the same salary as the rock after wwe ratings went crazy in 1999 to 2000
Nice PR move...
Nice share
Rock and Kevin Hart proly having their own little pvt freak offs with all those Hollywood money
1 million is nothing to wrestlers thats like getting paid 10 at burger king the difference is that wreslters nowadays dont manage there expenses maven kauffman breaks it down
Why do people wear flags as merch?
And he prolly could have made more if he had a agent.
The applause when people get millions of dollars... is frightening.
Fantastic segment
15 mil vince is unpredictable
Why did I have a dream last night about shaking a giants hand and it making me feel small and weak? 😂
