while I agree. josh and sean are recent/young and developed in the recent past years of youtube. narduar has been doing it since the early 90s and has changed mediums and evolved with the time and pioneered/invented the deep cut unique format interview. josh and sean are taking narduar and adapting. you have to put narduar a level above. my (biased as someone who grew up watching narduar on much music) opinion
Seth was a wildly unexpected guest, but seeing him in this is the best thig ever. A very vulnerable and honest interview with some great food. Incredible.
The incredible thing, I think, about the way that Josh can conduct an interview, is that I'm most assuredly not a wrestling guy, and I've never heard of Seth and I had no idea who he was... But I'm not even a quarter of the way through the video and now I already want to know more about him just because of the way Josh can bring out a personality. I love it.
Yeah Sethanie's a fantastic performer, he's no.2 in the PWI500 every year. He's won the ROH World Championship, ROH World Tag Team Championship WWE World Heavyweight Championship x2, WWE Intercontinental Championship, WWE United States Championship, he was the inaugural NXT Champion. He's been wrestling professionally since 06, he got signed by WWE in 2010 along with fellow indie darling Jon Moxley, they would develop a friendship and the late great WWE HOFer "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes decided to put Seth and Mox together with The Rock's cousin Roman Reigns who at the time had recently signed with WWE after retiring from playing football, they became the trio known as The Shield, they made their WWE main roster debut in 2012.
I can recommend 2 videos to get to know Seth Rollins as a wrestler: "Seth Rollins looks to slay Universal Champion Brock Lesnar" - a great recap package, highlighting the story of Seth challenging the dominant champ Brock Lesnar. "FULL MATCH: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar - SummerSlam 2019" - an epic battle between two of the best pro wrestlers ever.
What a great episode, I love learning about a guest when I have no idea who they are beforehand. I'd love to see Sean Evans do this and Josh take on Hot Ones as reciprocal interviews.
The thing that I love about last meals is that I always gain a new perspective from each guest, and also learn about new foods that I want to try. Great series mythical crew.
I'm glad this interview talks about Seth's relationship with Iowa. Being an Iowan myself, I'm proud that Seth Rollins is a WWE champion and not some jobber.
This interview was sooooooooooo fun and so refreshing to watch and listen to. I enjoy Seth's depth about life and being so grounded in real life. ^_^ The food you guys ate was just TOP notch!!! Great philosophical and deep questions Josh!
Gotta be a massive compliment that a guy as chiseled as Seth Rollins eats the food. Bro's gonna have to go run a marathon to burn off the calories after this.
I still remember my first game system, it was the Playstation 2 and it have the Wired controllers that Seth Rollins is talking about, I get the struggle that Seth Rollins is talking about.
Interesting to see Seth talk about his age being "the last without technology and the first with it" because I'm only 26 and I grew up without cell phones, tablets, didn't get a PC until I was around 10, using DIal-Up internet, in a sense, I would've considered myself that.
I probably made those french fries. I loved working at hooters on WWE nights. Davenport had a pretty decent wrestling scene back then. I remember Tim Silvia coming in alot and Brian Urlacher came in a couple times too
Here is my list: -Scrambled Eggs with Sausage Links and Toast with Jelly -Coconut Donut -Meat Lovers Pizza Slice -Shepherd’s Pie -Fried Calamari -Grilled Cheese -Sour Cream and Onion Lays -Strawberries and Cream Dr Pepper -Coke Zero -Grilled cheese -Chunky Monkey Ice Cream
This interview was an absolute delight. It did get a bit weird for a sec with the filthy boy thing but we made it. I can tell how much Seth has not only learned but applied while having sat under the learning tree of John Cena. Seth is undeniably a fantastic ambassador for professional wrestling.
Josh did a much better interview than I would have. I would have said, "Thanks for coming by. Let's spend the next hour talking about your badass wife." 😍😂
Grew apart from my wrestling viewing days, but loved the great careers. Hogan, Macho, Scott Hall and Steve Nash pre and post NWO era, The Harts, Shawn Michaels Sweet Chin Music, Sid Vicious, Legion of Doom, Harlem Heat (More of a Stevie fan), Nation of Domination D-Lo and the "Lo Down", Rey Mysterio was a machine!!!
I love how Josh flexes and Seth is having none of it. Plus the "Dirty boy" line that Josh says and Seth bats him down. If anyone watched Josh and Nicole on Bert Kreischer's channel you'll know that Josh has swung both ways in college. I love this channel and this particular segment. You never know what's going to happen.
Roman would be a great person to have in this series. It would probably just be a larger version of Seth’s with some really nice gourmet food as well as some frozen stuff you can find pretty much anywhere.
As a Magic: The Gathering player, seeing Seth talk about how his Gixx persona was born kinda get me a glimpse of seeing Seth sitting down and play at one of the Command Zone Podcast's Game Knight episode playing a commander deck built around Gixx, Yawgmoth's Praetor (probably with Becky playing a version of a Chandra deck on the other side of the table) Then Seth be like "I don't know, I don't get it, I never played it, I sucked at it, but I tried"... oh how my sweet daydream come crashing down...
First video I've stumbled upon on this channel. Very good production. I'm sure you get Hot Ones comparisons all the time, but I actually like this format more so far.
damn josh sure knows his music he went from talking about metalcore. But as soon as seth talked about kicking in the pit josh brought it around to hardcore shows. 🤘🏽
The BLT reminds me of the Table for 3 episode with Seth, Roman and Dean where they talk about not eating in the WWE canteen and Roman freaking out about the calories in Dean’s loaded sandwich with Seth in the background just eating and nodding his head.
I love that Seth looks at the nutrition facts on the can and immediately says “ ahh I don’t wanna look at that “😂😂😂
You can tell when Seth bit into that BLT he had a full Ratatouille flashback to his childhood.
Fantastic video, fantastic guest, love this.
Josh Scherer, Sean Evans, Nardwuar - the holy trinity of deep cut interviewers with a unique format
stop that
So proud of Josh. His interview skills are really great. And this is a way for him to showcase his knowledge with less chaos.
@@savaunbrownstop what
@@b3to653 hes a solid interviewer. he ain’t on sean’s level. Not even close to nardwuar’s

Seth seems like such a genuine and humble guy. I was really amazed how profound and well spoken he is.
10:14 “I don’t wanna look at that” Pepsi definitely reminds him of punk 😭

To be fair, Seth is one of the biggest personalities in the business. Maybe of all time.
I can recommend 2 videos to get to know Seth Rollins as a wrestler:

Y'all got Seth?! You better have Becky next time! She has guested on GMM before so its not impossible.

Dude you need to get the Undertaker on this
Josh is quickly becoming the Nardwuar of the food world and I'm here for it!
What about Sean Evans?

As a Mexican American
We welcome Seth FN Rollins into our Mexican Brotherhood

He actually is Latino. You probably know but a lot of people don't
What a great episode, I love learning about a guest when I have no idea who they are beforehand. I'd love to see Sean Evans do this and Josh take on Hot Ones as reciprocal interviews.
Seth seems really chill and down to earth, honestly... And that's crazy, considering he's capable of playing the complete opposite in the ring
The thing that I love about last meals is that I always gain a new perspective from each guest, and also learn about new foods that I want to try. Great series mythical crew.
Seeing him wrestle at fast lane is one of the greatest memories I have! We went just to see him! Such an incredibly talented person!!
Josh and Sean Evans need to do an interview exchange at some point. Josh on hot ones and Sean on last meals
Throw in Nardwuar (sp?) And my brain is gonna explode😂
100%
I just noticed that Sean Evans was on this show a couple of weeks ago I’m definitely going to check that out now.
As someone from the greater Quad City Area, I love seeing local guys making it for themselves!
Watching Seth piss himself laughing watching Josh's promo was worth every second of this video.
I am in love with the bond between Josh and the WWE. I'd love to see him at some point in the WWE
i loved this video so much, it showed a side of someone we never get to see. just truth and honesty, no appearance or kayfabe just him and you
if i downed seth's final meal in one sitting --it'd f-ing kill me.
Its such an honor to have this dude repping Iowa. He seems like such a down to earth chill dude.
Seth: I'm too nervous to jump into a pit
Also Seth: *jumps from a Hell in a Cell and lands on the commentary desk*
After seeing the opening to this episode, I now NEED an episode of this series with Nardwuar the Human Serviette.
We've got to know!
I want Ryan Reynold in this show ASAP
Deadpool 3 press tour maybe?
We had Tom Hanks, they can get anyone now. I hope they get him.
1:00 "You're Seth Rollins, we HAVE to know!"
Seth Freakin’ Rollins! This isn’t what I expected to wake up to but I love it. I always enjoy this show.
I'm glad this interview talks about Seth's relationship with Iowa. Being an Iowan myself, I'm proud that Seth Rollins is a WWE champion and not some jobber.

Seth Rollins + Pepsi = CM PUNK CONFIRMED?!?!?
Gotta be a massive compliment that a guy as chiseled as Seth Rollins eats the food. Bro's gonna have to go run a marathon to burn off the calories after this.
Dude. First time watching this series and have to say, it's on par with hot ones. So enjoyable watching this
Knowing that Seth Rollins eats sushi with his hands makes me feel better about the fact that I do the same thing 😅
I still remember my first game system, it was the Playstation 2 and it have the Wired controllers that Seth Rollins is talking about, I get the struggle that Seth Rollins is talking about.
“There’s a finite number of lemons in life.” -Seth Rollins, 2023
Seth talking about The Wonder Years? Didn’t see that coming but it made me smile big. I suppose it makes sense as a fellow elder millennials.
Very down to earth. I love the comradely he has with the fans. He’s one of a kind.
Rollins never really drank Pepsi,
mfer
he knew the entire time did he
Awesome job Josh .
“Oh I’m a dirty boy, can you call me a dirty boy?”
“No I’m not gonna do that”
😂
Josh asking Seth Rollins to call him a dirty boy was not on my bingo card
10 years. Pepsi Logo. CM PUNK
Imagine watching the new captain America movie and Seth Rollins comes out and you say “ ITS SETH FREAKIN ROLLINS”
That's what I said when he was casted in the movie.
Seth found out how to find the best food in tokyo. Old place in a basement run by a family. always winner
Interesting to see Seth talk about his age being "the last without technology and the first with it" because I'm only 26 and I grew up without cell phones, tablets, didn't get a PC until I was around 10, using DIal-Up internet, in a sense, I would've considered myself that.
I can feel him on it. Just turned 37 myself. Some different times for sure.
I probably made those french fries. I loved working at hooters on WWE nights. Davenport had a pretty decent wrestling scene back then. I remember Tim Silvia coming in alot and Brian Urlacher came in a couple times too
Love Rollins, Love his food choices more.
Talking about what you eat before you die, you gotta get Undertaker on here
💜
I really wanted Seth to call Josh a dirty boy
I never expected Seth Rollins to be a Wonder Years fan. I would love to know other Pop Punk or similar bands he enjoys
I love how much he cares about the fans and I love even more how much he loves his family. Genuinely good human being.
The kid really does change your mindset.

Seth is such a nice guy, he talks to you with respect and has a great sense of humor. I miss him, such great times 10 yrs ago.
First time ive ever wqtched a mythical kitchen before gmm lol. Best mythical kitchen episode EVER!!!
40:21 Aww, Seth mentioning Connor's cure was so sweet. I remember watching the video and seeing just how much Connor touched Seth's heart.
Impressed he ate all that after eating that plate of steak lol
Holy crap its Seth Freakin Rollins!!! Hell yes i can't wait.
Seth is a great guy to hang around with, you can just tell! X3
Didn't take Rollins for Pepsi fan. lol
When Seth was talking about him and his brother, it reminded me so much of my best friend and his younger brother.
I lost it when he said 'Back in the kids the controllers were connected to the system' lol
3 mile Island wings and shrimp from hooters is definitely last meal material but the hooters in my city closed 😢
This interview was an absolute delight. It did get a bit weird for a sec with the filthy boy thing but we made it. I can tell how much Seth has not only learned but applied while having sat under the learning tree of John Cena.
Seth is undeniably a fantastic ambassador for professional wrestling.
You nailed it with this one.

"I gotta go watch the Chicago Bears lose after this" lmao, ouch.
When Bears lose Seth always tweets I Hate Football but when Chicago wins he tweets I Love Football 🤣🤣🤣
Here's hoping we get to se even more WWE (and dare I say AEW) superstars on Last meals! :D

He's basically saying his last match is going to be with CM Punk AKA Pepsi Phil for Philip Brooks AKA CM Punk
yeahh man he already looks so hapy to have him
That is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one indeed!
This man gives Sean Evans a run for his money, bloody brilliant!!
