New subscriber! Enjoyed your video. I was also in line to get Reggie Smith’s auto on my ‘67 Red Sox program. Heard the same advice to have our items ready as he had to catch a flight. I will have to take a closer look at the back row next year. Thanks for the tip.
The big cards always get all of the love but unearthing some awesome treasures like you did can be just as much fun. The color and photo on that Reynolds postcard is amazing. Sounded like a great time with some members of the community. Looking forward to the Philly show in 4 weeks
Really nice pickups Dan. I've just started exploring the Coglan's Chips - Fred Parent who has now become my turn-of-the-century guy is in that issue. I love that the photo in the '70 Reggie Smith was taken at Fenway (you can see a hint of the Green Monster over his shoulder. You got a great signature on it. ~Allon
Hi Dan, I watched the video of the live stream. Thanks for sharing all of your great pickups from the show. The two yearbooks and that 63 Spahn are awesome.
Hi Dan. I watched Sammy`s live show last night and it was fantastic. You all did an awesome job. This show will now be on my radar for the next November show. You had many nice pickups. That Reggie Jackson in an Orioles uniform, is certainly on my Orioles priority list. I would be interested in the whole team set. Those two programs are pretty cool items and $20 a piece is a great price. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon pal.
Enjoyed the video! Love the Colgans chips pickup. Reggie Smith doesn’t get enough love in the hobby. Sweet signing! Bummer I live on the west coast. It looks like you guys had a great time at the show.
You had a fantastic show Dan! Congratulations on all the amazing pick ups! They don’t all need to be really big items to be awesome! You added a lot of awesomeness to your collection!
That photo of Teddy, Dom and Jimmie Foxx is about 1940. Jimmie asked Joe Cronin if he could room with Dom on the road when The Little Professor came up to the majors. Dom was the one who told Jimmie he had been traded. Anyway, it's too bad I missed seeing everyone. I was there all 3 days - it was a fun but quite overwhelming show. I bought a few awesome cards from Matt From Providence. He's got a great selection and I highly recommended anyone doing business with him.
Hi Dan, thanks for another great video. What do you think is a reasonable price for the Type I photo used as basis for 1956 Topps Mantle? How many would you guess exist? Thanks, Mike
@DansVintageBaseballPC Any thoughts as to whether that is a reasonable price and how many might be in existence. It's probably out of my price range, but could be a great bargain for all I know.
@ nothing related to Mantle is “reasonable”. The reality is that LOTG is an honest auction site and it a lot sells for a certain price, that’s a fair comp.
@@DansVintageBaseballPC Good point about Mantle. I have purchased from LOTG and have not issues with their honesty. Curious, what sale(s) did you use to conclude the current price is fair? Thanks!

@@4softcorners728 Hope to see you there!
@ I believe I’ll be going Saturday this time
@17:03 Orioles legend, Reggie Jackson. He looks so happy, short lived as his time, in Baltimore was.

Wow, I don't think I've seen that Reggie in a Oriole uni. Great centering and color. ;l

@@PickerJimS Jim, it was so great to finally get to talk to you for some quality time. Sorry you did not make the photo, next time my friend.
Great pickups, Dan. It was awesome to meet you and thanks for the shoutouts here!
Great video and great summary of the show. Really enjoyed this.
I think Whitey Bulger drove up in that car.
😂😂😂
I love the Reggie card in the Orioles uniform. Great video. The car was a Chrysler Cordoba, not Cadillac😂😂😂
@@captaincopter2387 You are absolutely correct. My memory for early 70s car commercials isn’t what it used to be.
Thanks for the video 😊
Awesome video Dan. Congrats on the great pickups. Thank you for sharing
Dan, the April show at Shriners isn't nearly as good as the November show. The November show is THE Shriners show. Glad you enjoyed it.
