Pros
- Good looking fighter airplane shape of SU-35.
- Simple two channel controls of throttle for climbing/descending, and yaw for turning right/left. Yaw turns are accomplished through differential thrust of its two motors.
- Common 220mah battery with white Losi connector. Should be able to easily find spare batteries.
Cons
- The instruction manual claims gyro stabilization. However, phugoid oscillations and roll over with hard yaw suggests that this may not be not true.
- Calm day flier only. Not for windy days.
- Yaw turning control is only slightly proportional. Best truned with short multiple bumps on the yaw control until the aircraft is flying in the desired direction.

I finally discovered this plane has proportional throttle thanks to this video 🙏,this wasn't possible 10 years ago, they miniaturised the esc board ,fantastic value ,and hollow core motors will last years

I used to love your videos about a year ago. And I’ve been inspired. Now I love to fligh them and there just great fun things to use.
the front is super light. bend rear flaps up and this bad boy will fly stunt circles in a 10 foot box, bend flaps down for speed. I run a 500 mah battery (its a tight fit), but it flies for darn near 45 minutes for real, and didn't burn out my motors. Some models have a steel ball bearing under that nose for weight. I removed it during battery swap. amazing flyer.
Yeah, instead of adding parasitic weight to the nose, it would probably be better to simply add a larger battery.

Looked like the Right Turn control is not properly programmed, it will head down and plunged to crash, when turning right without tapping, but it can make very nice left turn without tapping ! Any expert's advise or comment ?

I think maybe you have to give the gyro a bit of time to set before flying. Or she was a bit tail heavy. As per wind? I've had ones like this and with a little bit of weight added, (I think I used a dime,) in the right place? It cut right through wind. Was pretty fun. You bank it more than turn it when it's like that which is fun, but you have to have the space, (for those who don't know.) I love planes like these because you can play with the CoG, overall weight of it, etc. Good times!

Hey man? The little estes sky rangers? I had to put a little pink foam wedge under one wingtip and they fly great!!! I try to fly up high then check it deadstick then correct it. That keeps the fight and wreckage out of the equation

I decided to buy some ready to fly planes since I have had no luck building from foamboard. Eventually I will get it. I took this plane to my local park for its maiden flight. My park seems to always been windy regardless. I hand launched it, and it flew perfectly. It ascended so I high I feel the controller lost communication, I had turned the throttle down, and tried to navigate it back to me. However the wind was able to keep gliding away from me, to the point I lost sight of it behind a tall tree. I was running towards it hoping to gain control, I feel at some point I did, since it did crash in a field. It was a field of tall grass but since it was out of my view behind the tree I had no idea where it landed. I thought for sure I lost it. So a thought, I knew what it sounded like, so I throttled up and was able to recover it. AS STATED if you want to keep it, dont fly it on a windy day regardless of your experience. Great plane overall, super fun!

Got mine two days ago. Good call on gluing landing gear , lost mine first time out. Glad I had C17 first, it gave me some idea of what to expect. I thought it was same maker and expected the trans to be the same but it is not. There are no trims. The C17 is easier to fly but both are tricky to turn as you demonstrated. I also snapped off the nose in one of my crashes, caused by the tip stall you showed before I got a handle on the steering. It still flies without nose and front wheel and handles much better at half throttle or less. As per instructions I had to bend rudders a bit to trim out major right turn. I'm going to miss the landing gear though , I like ground take off and landing.
I never did get my C17 to actually fly ! - it just wouldn't develop enough thrust to even fly level.
Richard: That's odd, are you sure the battery was fully charged? I ordered 4 and they all fly and glide beautifully. I also hollowed out a longer battery bay to the rear and run 300 mah batteries. Also I put the tail all the way in (sea level)

Z53 is more appropriate for beginner fliers. It's easier to fly than this one.

Sorry, I no longer have it. But I'm pretty sure that it's receiver was integrated with the flight control board.
