I tried to use your promo code… With your code, it’s only a $4-5 dollar difference. If one doesn’t use your code, they knock off about $40. So, in effect, your code is worthless. Not knocking you, but that’s a shady business practice on their part. Thought you’d like to know.
I'm starting a piggy bank!! Never flown any type of RC aircraft but have thought about it a number of times. After seeing this I just gotta try this one.
@@weaselweasel8034 my personal recommendation would be a Blade 120 S2. It has SAFE which has a panic button that returns the heli to flat and level if you lose orientation. This SAFE mode does not avoid walls or trees or anything else. Wind can still blow it around, but if it's plummeting to the ground, you just hit the panic button and give it some throttle and it should zip it to an upright position. TH-cam how SAFE works with RC helicopters, they'll walk ya thru it. Plenty of spare parts for Blade helis in local hobby stores and online.
That chopper/drone does have a bunch of perks to it. 👍🏼 If $600 is the price, It is on the high end for a beginner. It looks to be worth the cost. But most beginners won't want to spend that. Maybe if they sold a beginner model (minus a couple bells & whistles), the price could come down a lil bit. I bet the 'return to home' worked perfectly, where it landed looked really close to the spot you (initially) took off.
beginners eventually come around my buddy who's a little bit older and has even worse vision than I do wants a big 450 with GPS, there is a market at this price point for these types of aircraft. GPS protects your investment and protects others if you don't have good enough stick skills confidence vision etc. The new GS huey venom is gonna be available GPS soon as well, and that thing flies like a "goose guy". my big objection to this one is it doesn't really fly like a helicopter whereas I have the new venom and it does. this comes with extra batteries and a good controller so I think it's a good option plus the venom doesn't have any lights I don't know if this one does
The price was a little jarring, but it does have all the specs you’d expect for that price. The problem is all the sub $100 helicopters from the same company that look the same albeit with significantly less features, but I had a $200-$300 expectation when I saw the $585 tag wow 🤯
Cool looking, but for a few hundred more you can have a much more versatile full featured cam and video drone with far greater time and distance range and nowhere near as noisy, either.
Or a first gen Mavic Mini (which is still a great drone) for €400 (€100 less than this heli). Or a full FPV quadcopter setup for the same price, and that’s way more fun to fly.
The camera is analog. it works with my fat sharks but I dont have the ability to record. I may throw a digital camera on these and zip tie the VTX on so I can use and record from my DJI goggles.
Its an MH-60 Blackhawk. Its in the attack configuration. usually special operations are the only ones that have those helicopters in that configuration. I definitely need to get me one so I can fly it. I do want to see if there is an Apache helicopter drone
Just thinking how easily someone could put an IR spotlight on the bottom and use an IR fpv camera and maybe have some deccent night vision at a reasonable height
Showing online market it has a VR transmission and that would be nice to see before buying and would like to see the LED light fit with a drone like camera
i think what you're seeing the "wagon-wheel effect", when the frame rate of the video camera captures the rotating blades of the helicopter at a rate that causes them to appear to spin slowly, stand still, or even rotate in the opposite direction. not a flaw of the RC copter
Very pretty… the only issue I have outside of the FPV is how fragile these are. The wheels breaks off easily. The package is not made to put the heli in it with all its fixture. Everyone please make sure you read the manual. When you are trying to flip it pay attention to which way your throttle is pointed i.e you throttle direction makes it flip
It might be that main rotor blades are stiff or too tightly screwed to rotor head. It is best if they are a bit loose so that they can traverse back and forth a bit.
Have a mavic air, beebop 2 power, and a helicopter which has only been flown once and was very difficult to control. This thing looks great and has more modern controls. Nice.
Back in 89-90. i was 7. i learned rc heli flying WITHOUT a gyro on the tail rotor. I had to compens that Myself. My dad was flying Till 1999 without any gyro. And Now this. Mmh.
Just got back from the field - All telemetry to transmitter seemed good/correct. Issue persists (fast flashing yellow light) - "self test of aircraft" (According to the manual). Has to be a bad sub-component... Cannot lift off! Not happy! A shame; I had high hopes for this (Got the camera, FPV googles and everything - Spend about $1000.00 and planned on buying the Apache also). And lets be clear - I am a Quality EE for a fortune 500 company! Old past replacements parts/fix orders still not received (Considering this was NEW out of the box!). Why should I have to trouble shoot and pay for a new motor and controller PCB???). Hell, I’m still waiting for a replacement charger that works (Again - out of the box and did not work!). Been waiting for 2 months now. And by the way; I have been building scratch build RC helicopters, drones, boats and planes for years, so I know what I’m taking about!
After reading some comments, I say this....I'm an older person who's inner-child has recently began to show his interests in killing time with rc......."investments....? lol. I started with bashers and crawlers, interested in drones......if I decide to get a "beginner" drone I would most certainly get something like this, being a veteran having served on a carrier I might buy it just to have, money is definitely an issue in my household but if this deserving spoiled brat I deal with from time to time wants it, I'll find a way to please him. It's only money and if you can't take it with you, you may as well enjoy spending it.......after "her" little inner girl gets her crawler.....it's in the mail!......lol thanks for sharing my friend.

these rc planes and helicopters have gotten a lot better in the past 10 years i’m impressed
your camera quality is INSANE! feels like it’s recorded on an eyeball
Is there a part 2 of this video. I'm really interested in this helicopter.
I'm starting a piggy bank!! Never flown any type of RC aircraft but have thought about it a number of times. After seeing this I just gotta try this one.
i highly recommend beginning on an inexpensive beginner helicopter, these things are easy to crash
@@MrPuddinJones probably great advise! Probably less expensive too. Thanks!!!
@@MrPuddinJoneswhats a good begginer helicopter

What a time to be alive. I remember the time I tried to learn how to fly a RC helicopter about 15 to 20 years ago. Looks way more fun today 😅
That grass in your backyard looks awesome!
I'm just jealous of his spacious backyard 😄

True, as a beginner I only wanna pay under $200
600 is expensive
Looking for part 2 and 3. This heli looks amazing. Thanks for sharing this video my friend.

How far will it fly? does it have RTH and will it do auto RTH if the signal is lost or will it fly away
did you even watch the video? RTH at 07:45
So much cooler than a generic quad copter , the circle mode would be cool while hand launching a plane with the camera on
*laughs in fpv full acro mode
600 is too much for this, but it does seem nice for someone who is just a part timer, or wants to have one as a "toy"
Well I mean, if you can’t afford it, that doesn’t mean others can’t🤷♂️
Look these up at manufacturer eachines seem they are actually quite cheap
Expensive and sold on AliExpress. No thanks
@@SVW1976the cheaper version wasn’t alliexpress it was the manufactures own site.
@@blacktberd08 Interesting. I clicked on what I thought was an actual site for them. I was redirected to allie express.

can also have the same for a couple hundred less. radiomaster pocket is like 50 bux :)

I would love one just to set in my GI Joe glass cabinet just for display.
To squirrely and jittery and that damn tail motor whine. Not for me but thx for the vid, very helpful. Beautiful lawn and privacy fence.
Is the $600 price with the 2 batteries?
I would be interested to see a part 2 of this with the VR head set
How long before you got it delivered ?
What is the flight time (battery duration) range of this toy?
I'm definitely going to save up for that.
Honestly, how long does the battery last ?
Looks scale! Nice.
My mind is genuinely blown seeing how AMAZING this thing is! Helicopters 5 years ago were.. much sketchier 😂
Ah the 2000-2010's, I must have wrecked a couple dozen choppers. Those big'ol NiCad square packs bring back memories.
Cool helicopter!🔥👍
Thats one hell of exquisite and cool toy. Well made.
Just checking if the FPV video is available yet? On the fence for this one but a great FPV capability might seal the deal.

That inverted mode is mad. Do alot of them do that maneuver?
What’s the name of it?
how can i buy one i’m in melbourne australia
Looks good for a nice prop for under budget movie makers just got have the right sound effects and editing
are there sensors like on dji mini?
Just a little correction, this is the SH-60 seahawk, not the UH-60
It is but the wheel is at the back like the UH-60. Also it still has the cabin door, something the Seahawk deleted.
It just needs a black coat of paint to become an MH 60 DAP
Its an MH-60S.

Can this carry a small pay load. Like for fishing ?
So how effed up is the camera woman if the rotors had hit her?
Nice lawn. 👍
Looks like the main rotor spins in the opposite direction from the actual
Very cool very tempting been looking to get into Rc helicopters great video like split screen showing remote 👍👍👍
400 dollars u tryna get me bankrupt or smth??
Great review and an awesomely stable camera work ❤
if i had this as a kid... id be playin with it all day
For all the detail and beauty of this helo you would think the main rotor would spin the right way

No onboard camera for the price?
How does it handle a windy day? Flyable?
Where can you get it?
What is the flight time per battery?
That is the coolest thing I've seen in a while
Can you adjust throttle and pitch curves?
Great pilot skills bro.

Now THAT is a fancy toy to have!
why rocket pod has missle written on it?
where did you get it?
Sure, the helicopter is great and all, but let's talk about your lawn. What do you do to get it looking so lush and amazing?
AT some rpms it sounds like the main rotor blades are floppy. Did you try full power on it? Did them vibrate?
It might be that main rotor blades are stiff or too tightly screwed to rotor head. It is best if they are a bit loose so that they can traverse back and forth a bit.
Are you able to do figure rates upside down
I have the coast guard version and love it.
I want a Marine Chopper , I jump out of choppers in the rice patties 53 years ago .
@@SalRuggiero Thank you for your service. I was an army Cobra mechanic.
I'm guessing you have to follow FAA drone rules in the USA for a RC helicopter or plane?
This is a very cool Helicopter. Are there some other Designs?
What is the distance and the air time
Works nicely but where I live the neighbors would call the police.
High or Low rate means the accelerating is high/ low. For starters: start with low….
whtas the difference between a drone and a heli?
What is the top speed? 🚁
