- JUST A SHORTER VIDEO THIS WEEK, OF THE TIDY UP AND REPAINT OF A CORGI CHIPPERFIELDS BEDFORD ARTICULATED HORSE TRAILER THAT I BOUGHT AT A TOY FAIR LAST YEAR WHILST ON HOLIDAY.

Hi Martin this was a real pleasure to watch, the build-spray and final finish. The tip for cleaning the trailer was a good one i thought you had sprayed it to start.. Outside shots fantastic as always (You cut the grass a bit short though...LOL.) All the best from Ian & family.

Another great restoration.
Sure was nice how once you drilled the cab out, it all came apart as one. I bet that doesn't happen that often. If you find some horses you will have to do a quick update. I still like the outdoors shots once completed.

Thank you Robert, yes this one went pretty much according to plan for a change lol!👍 I may do like Corgi Bob at the end of the year, do a video with the models I have done with updates, as there have been a few that I have had to get parts and accessories for since making the videos.

You got a pretty good model here the side mirrors are usually the first to go on this model but its all there surprisingly another beauty Nick beautiful restoration job well done Sir
Thank you, yes I was lucky with this one, just needed a paint and a clean up, must keep on the look out for the horses to go with it and complete the job😊👍

Bought one of these toys and will have a go at doing one myself.
Can you please tell me which make of red paint you used for the tractor unit?
The trailer I have is a bit beaten up so Tamiya light blue or one of the Hycotes Ford blue paints will work for that.

You’re welcome David and thank you. Sorry for the late reply, only just seen your comment. The red paint was a Holts auto spray paint, the red has no name or number on the can, I just went by the colour of the lid when I bought it! Good luck with doing your model, all the best, Nick.
Another great video Nick, how long did you have to soak the blue plastic top in Dettol for to get the black permanent marker ink off?
The other model Bedford with a similar cab to the TK was the KM Bedford. The KM had 2 front bumpers, the 2nd one was just above the front grille, I think.

Hi Peter and thank you, in the end I never had to put the top in dettol as the lamp doctor polish got the permanent marker off ok to my surprise. It wasn’t the KM I was thinking of, we had a couple of those where I worked, the front axle was wider on those and the front wings to accommodate, as well as the twin bumpers as you say, I just had in my mind that the chassis plate had different letters and numbers on the little tractor units despite the cabs being identical, probably my mind playing tricks lol!

I've got corgi cameo set Chipperfield circus models are all split was it a common fault with this set or is there any way to fix them
Hi Robert, I wasn’t familiar with the cameo set, I just had to look on eBay to see what it was, what exactly has split on them?
@@crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739 the base have come away from body main part of the trucks metal has just broken up no way to fix them done some research on the Internet it was a common fault with this set I've been told just shame that corgi didn't recall this set back in the old days
I can not even take them out of the box as they just fall to bits like metal just crumbling away it was very poor set from corgi
