so, if we have a bunch of business Standard licenses and also defender for office 365 (Plan 2) would we be losing anything by switching from standard to premium and removing the defender plan 2 since business premium as defender?
Sorry for this silly question, but do just I as the Admin need to upgrade to the Premium licence to have all users protected (9 of us), or do all of us need the premium licences?
Well, according to my understanding of things here, if security from email-related threats is your no.1 priority and you can live with lesser functionality of collaboration apps (docs, etc.) then it is cheaper to go with Google Workspace (even with recent price hikes). With Microsoft, you need to go for the Premium tier to have the attachments and links scanned. The Workplace gives you that 'necessary in 2023' feature in all the tiers. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
If your need is only to be protected from email-related threats, you can only purchase defender for office as an add on to business standard for 1.80$ per user but is the only threat you should be protected from?😉
Will I need to use Norton Anti virus if I have 365 business premium?
No, not if you roll out Defender for Endpoint which is part of Premium
You can always trust a Yorkshire man!!! Thank you for the informative video!

You will lose some small features….. but Premium has everything you need.

I know its been a while but did you ever get the answer to this?
@@GabrielJ-py9tf Thanks for checking, I got it sorted.
@@GabrielJ-py9tf You need 9 licenses in this case, it is 1 license per user.

It might be cheaper…. But which is better?

business premium grant access to Copilot?
The m365 Copilot is not included in any license at this point. It must be purchased as an add on in all cases.
Great review!! Does any of these include Skype For Business?
I don’t think so now that Teams is the main app
