Jonathan, I'm mad! We have to get your subs up! When you demo a product, it's often an actual guide of some rather robust configurations. I see lots of other "demos" where it's clicking on a bunch of subheadings in a feature, talk about it, and then not actually do anything. That's a product overview, not a demo. Also, we need more auto-tune like "Dad, you're always on your phone!" Kind of like having a fever for more cowbell. Love the content, keep it up!
Great video, thanks for this! Question, what is the 'best' approach. [1] Disable the standard and strict presets and edit the 'default' policies as per ORCA (office 365 recommended configuration analyzer) or [2] Disable the standard and strict presets leave the 'default' policies as is and create new policies as per ORCA (office 365 recommended configuration analyzer) or [3] Just use the standard preset and adjust per built-in MDO config analyzer ?
Dear Jonathan, First of all i would like to appreciate your efforts, your contents are up to the mark and matching the exact vision of what an IT admin need to protect his organization from any attack. am following you for a long time and i hope will get more knowledge from you. Could you please also add a video how to send email alerts for IT admin on M365 email security based on different conditions & best practices.
Do you need to disable the defaults? Also in your default inbound rule, if you have some white list domains. Do you need to add them again to the new policy you create?
Hey Jonathan, thank you so much for the detailed video. Do you have any idea how to block certain documenttypes from teams chats? A customer has a policy to block .doc and .xls from mails but the users still can send them via teams... Can't find anything to filter in the chats. Keep up the good explanations
You are the best by far. You can put your videos together and sell it in a course and it would be the ultimate course. We have Defender for O365 Plan 2 part of M365 E5 can you make a video for plan 2 ?
Only issue I seem to get is when I send off a link to customer. Could be our RMM link or other installer. The often get pinged for malware and quarantined. With spam and phishing you can whitelist domains but malware not so much. Do you create a mail flow rule to whitelist your company on clients and what’s that usually look like?
@@bearded365guy Atera. The agent client when we make the URL for download always gets caught at Microsoft. Trying to whitelist us in mail rule to try and let us through at least.
Dear Jonathan thanks for your videos, In my company we have a problem: 90% of the emails end up in quarantine or spam (they are known emails) and the emails sent by us are sometimes blocked and do not reach the recipient. This change was temporary and we do not understand why. Microsoft support has not been able to find the problem until today, do you have knowledge of something at the Microsoft level or is it just us. Thank you
