Many thanks, Andy, great video. When advising clients I normally say 'Business Premium = Business Standard + Endpoint Management + Information Governance + Windows'. As you say, you get a lot for the money, but not everybody needs the extras and they can sometimes be overwhelming. Video idea: talking about being overwhelmed, whilst I do love m365maps, it can be a lot to digest ... a 'laymans' overview would be excellent.
@Andy Malone MVP, Loving your videos. I'm an IT Pro with 20+ years experience. I recently purchased a M365 Basic license, but have worked with Azure professionally and personally. First I wish to point out (as I'm watching your video) several of the features you've attributed to Business Premium are also available with Business Basic. However, I'll admit there is a big flaw in how Microsoft designed M365 & Azure web management portals. The flaw being they expose several menu options throughout interface which are only usable at a higher license plan; only to give a wacky error page when clicked. Yes, I know of the few places where you see notes about trial/upgrades; that's not everywhere. Professionally, I don't understand why they don't simply provide "License Plan Based Management" or at a minimum use icon indicators depicting the feature requirement of a higher paid plan; thereby avoiding customers getting error pages. Something Azure can definitely use.
Thank you for the wonderful video. Curious your opinion. If we are not using end-point protection (that is handled with another tool), or MDM, also handled with another tool, and we are primary a Mac company. Would you still suggest Premium, or would something like standard with a Defender P1 or Entra ID P1, be the way? We do want the link and attachment filtering from defender. **Also, we don't use Teams (Zoom mainly) or OneDrive (Box currently)** Thanks!
Awesome content! Appreciated. Talking about Win11 license can an evaluation license be activated if the Win11 PC/Laptop is enrolled or Entra ID joined with an M365 Premium licensed user?
Hi sir, I have got the Microsoft Business Premium when you login in I get this how do I access to Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Outlook in this page home screen please answer on how get there please?
You can access the web versions of these applications directly from your homepage. On the top right hand corner, you should have an icon that says install apps you can install the desktop versions of the software for both Mac and PC. You can have up to 5 installs on separate devices that belong to a user
great video again andy , we are currently on business standard and looking to move up and wasn't sure if the additional cost was necessary , but looks like a lot of added features that will benefit us , i know i've asked this before, but does the 25TB of sharepoint storage still apply to both the standard and professional tiers ?
@@AndyMaloneMVP hi Andy, just a heads up , i was uploading some info to a new sharepoint site , was thinking an archive library, but i have maxxed out at 1.82TB, all sites have went into read only mode , and got email asking to purchase more storage, so it looks like you might get the option of 25TB but its at a cost .
I need AAD P1 in my environment of 250 users with Microsoft 365 Standard license. I bought 1 license for Business Premium and now I get P1 AAD. Is this OK ? Do I need to get all users on Premium? No one is able to answer this at Microsoft
I'm haunted by the tiny, fixed disk on my Surface 7+pro (250 gig) versus 1T on Surface 8 Pro + b/c apps are all set up on C drive, and no work arounds, thank you, like to an external SSD drive (San Disk 1T). Very frustrated, but respectful, NHG
words of a genius. Thank you so much. (I was in Server Adminstration 30 years)

Thanks David you agree 😊
Passed the SC-900 recently, but again the explanation of the Compliance portal was very welcome.
Yay congrats 👍🎉
Thanks for remembering our Queen.

It’s simple they want you to spend more money! Welcome to the world of the cloud👍🤪
"You get Windows 11 licenses" can you direct us to some documentation regarding that? Thanks!
Great subject, would like to see more licenses related video, Thanks!

Yes, but for professional or enterprise editions only
Great video! Do all users need to be on M365 Business Premium to take advantage of the security features you mentioned?
95% yes

My question is Mr. Andy, this plan also includes Power Bi ?
No I’m afraid not. But you can add it on to your plan. You can also get power BI free edition which has some limited capabilities 😊
An absolutely fantastic video. My personal opinion .
Aw thanks so much 👍😊
Wow I had to subscribe to your channel. Thank you.
Awesome, thank you!
I think u missed the 100GB mailbox and 1.5TB online archiving for mailbox.
Nah that’s a different atory

Dark Mode causes problems especially in Word and Excel
It’s a shame because it’s better on the eyes
