Hey Kyle, Vanessa is an awesome companion to Out of Spec. Her personality just vibes well with yours. Would love to see more content collaborations with her. Maybe she can be the Europe correspondent.
it is a legal requirement to run winter tyres in Germany October to April even if your car isnt german my dad got a fine once when we did a road trip from the uk to germany in winter also believe snow chains are also legal requirement in certain conditions
I’ve used one of those model 3 priority superchargers in the UK. What’s always wild is how nice charging is in Western Europe. Can’t wait to go back soon!
I'm about to purchase my first EV. I've narrowed down my choices between a Kia EV6 GT-Line and a 2024 tesla model Y. Just sending you a "Thank You" for all of your videos that have kept me informed on what to watch for. Chris Y.😊
I’m surprised she said “no idea” when she’s a German motoring journalist. It’s not legally required to drive with winter tyres in Germany. However, if you have an accident or block a road in snow and you don’t have winter tyres, then you will be held either partially or fully responsible. A bit like driving above 130km/h on derestricted sections of the autobahn. It’s legal but if you have an accident, then you are automatically partially at fault.
Why?😂 He’s one of the very few males who have never even once made me feel uncomfortable, hence I agreed to this road trip immediately despite being hella tired and barely able to keep my eyes open
I was told in Network Marketing ............ Sometimes you have to slow down to speed up Kyle . the one who moves at a steady pace always wins the race
What are you basing this on exactly? I’ve testdriven a bunch of EVs and this was definitely one of the better ones. Expensive yes. Has its flaws, but what EV doesn’t right now. But not a bad car for the money.. I’ve watched tons of reviews as well and not a single reviewer is calling this a bad car..Even Kyle in this review called it a really good car, again with its flaws. Is this just frustration of not being able to afford one? Or just a need to be negative on the internet? I’m genuinely curious..
@@360theosiris well first of all I am very much able to afford it and has nothing to do with my purchasing capacity. if one finds a product negative one should be able to mention it. One does not always has to be positive about everything ☺️. Price, battery size, charging power, range, software (well here almost everyone is bad compared to Tesla). For the money what one gets is I feel battery tech from like 2015. Similar specs can be found on a kia Niro or Hyundai Kona. I test drive this bmw last week here in Germany and did not like it. Also on the point of reviewers I would be cautious. Many have to say positive things to keep manufacturers happy or else they won't be invited to exotic locations and staying in luxurious hotels for new launches. There are obviously exceptions like Bjorn or Kyle. But I feel for this price one might get a standard range model y with tons of space and maybe a used standard range model 3 with it. If one is a loyal bmw customer or wants to pay for the badge they might buy it. I think bmw has inflated the price here because they are loosing a lot of money on EVs. In the end if it is a good product it will show in the new car registrations ☺️ .
I should update: I got my laptop during a flight transfer back to the US - had to run pretty quick but I made it happen just in time 🚙💨
New US built ID.4 are seeing 180kw+ new ID.4 big battery will take the full 500 amps

What a lovely person Vanessa is.
And Zumarshausen, Always a pleasure to see.
Been there last summer , as a not EV driver . ❤
I’m a really good friend not gonna lie😁

The IX1 is actually selling in Brazil, it's amongst the best selling EVS.

Yes there are laws saying you must have winter tires if the road conditions require it.
"Do you have plows?" Cute 😂

Chris Y.😊
Thank You for supporting Electric Vehicles and for All that you are doing for our Planet Earth.... Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. Namaste.. 🙏🏻 😊 🌈 ✌ ☮ ❤
Wait, so did the car start charging a bit before you went inside to pay at the terminal? Where you got the higher speed charging
Not available in us-lost me there-kinda like hearing the seagull Byd is cool-but can’t touch this either-cool channel-ev’s rock!
Vanessa, Vielen Dank das Du unserem lieben Kyle sofort zur Hilfe gekommen bist.
Love the colour but the price for it is nuts. Better spend that one the massaging seats 😁
Kyle, when will you post the gle450e review
14:29 green screen effect?!
Looks like he stabilized it after the fact. It must’ve been bumpy
Does the iX1 support Autocharge (EnBW)?
Imagine thinking going 115 mph in rain is safe 😂
5 day response time is dumb but so is leaving your laptop at the gate
Why would winter tires not be allowed?
not allowed, is it law.
He was asking if they were required by law during the winter as in some countries like Canada
studded tires is not alowed in Germany. but ordinary Vintertyres with no studds is.

Car journalist from Germany doesn't know the law about winter tires in Germany, crazy times 😂
In europe you NEED to have winter tyres in winter and summer tyres in the summer, and the speed limit of the car is because of new eu laws
You don't need to have Summer Tires in the summer. But it would be dumb to use Winter tires ;)
Not Europe in general.. Just some European countries like Germany
There are few things more entertaining than watching Kyle interact with a woman.
Why?😂 He’s one of the very few males who have never even once made me feel uncomfortable, hence I agreed to this road trip immediately despite being hella tired and barely able to keep my eyes open
he keeps saying US and likely in Germany (?) why do you confuse us so much!
You apparently need a valet, Kyle.
I was told in Network Marketing ............ Sometimes you have to slow down to speed up Kyle . the one who moves at a steady pace always wins the race
Yea he only got like one hour of sleep that night. Even I got to sleep for like four hours. Sometimes I’m genuinely worried for his health😂
I’ve got my Coke… The liquid version ? 😊
OUCH! 3 weeks of content lost due to phone death
pay her back 🤣🤣🤣
My Model 3 Standard Range Plus also do 0 - 100 in 5.6 seconds.
Good to see a German vegetarian! They are doing great on plant based, good for the environment!
Honestly for the price it is a very bad ev and not just ev but the whole car in general
