RIP CED. Murdered by an errata it didn't deserve AT ALL. Speaking of wich, how about making a continuation of the banned card series, discussing the errata'd cards and wether or not the errata could be undone?
Chaos Emperor Dragon did deserve that errata though. Combined with Sangan and Yata Garasu in the deck, it was a guaranteed win combo. Summon Chaos Emperor Dragon with Sangaon on the field isn't hard at all. And once you wipe the field with CED, Sangan would activate and pull Yata Garasu to your hand. Then, you attack against an empty board/hand with Yata Garasu, leaving your opponent with nothing but GY effects. There's very few GY effects that are able to do anything in that state, and you're unable to draw as a result of Yata Garasu. Norleras, on the other hand, has far more cumbersome summoning conditions, requiring 1 Light Fairy and 3 Dark Fiends. And it's needing both Attribute AND Type that makes it far more balanced. Even today, Chaos Emperor Dragon needs that errata despite the existence of hand traps because its summoning condition is too light. Because if you don't negate Chaos Emperor Dragon, you're not negating the rest of the combo (as everything will be in the GY and likely unusable).
@@azuredragoon2054 CED did not Deserve THAT Errata though. They overdid it. With how much of an Errata they did they should have given CED a new effect to make it actually useful when it couldn't use its other effect due to the Errata. Just breaking the card isn't a good Errata. Konami should treat Errata's more like retrains and be willing to add harmless utility onto a card to make up for what it lost. They could have let it borrow the "remove 1 monster from play" effect other chaos cards have as a secondary effect. Would have made it so much less painful.
Idea if there hasn't been such vid yet: - Best Link 1s - Best Link 2s - Best Synchros - Best Halq tag-out targets - Best 2-card combos in history - Best Waifu archetypes - Best Archetypes of [insert type here] - Best Maindeck monsters that negate (interesting since they're usually bricks)
23:14 I had a fun idea for a complementary card for Sky Scourge: _The Wicked Nuvia, Envoy Of Divinity”_ (DARK) Level 4 Fiend/Tuner/Effect _If this card is normal summoned, destroy it, then you can add one level 10 or higher monster from your deck or GY to your hand. Once per turn this card cannot be removed from the field except by battle destruction. Whenever cards are moved between your opponents hand, field, GY, deck, or extra deck, this card gains 200 ATK/DEF. Once per turn (quick effect), after this card has gained 2000+ ATK or DEF by its own effect, you can tribute this card to summon (normal or special summon, your choice) 1 Divine-Beast or “wicked god” monster from your hand or deck, ignoring its summoning conditions. Once per turn you can banish this card from your graveyard; until your next turn, monsters you control deal piercing battle damage, and you gain LP equal to any damage dealt to your opponents._ ATK/1600 DEF/1600 So for the ATK/DEF gain effect, let me use Graceful Charity as an example: Your opponent used Graceful Charity, so they place the card from their hand to the field (+200), they draw 3 cards (+600), then discard 2 cards (+400), and then the spent Graceful Charity itself goes to the graveyard (+200)…. So 1400 ATK/DEF gained from a single card. So if your opponent goes into these big brain mega combos, Nuvia is prone to growing _MASSIVELY_ faster then your opponent can reasonably get a card out that can beat Nuvia over in battle, despite a rather minor boost in stats each time it goes off. It’d just add up FAST under ideal conditions. So it’d be a deterrent for your opponent to do too much before the situation gets out of control, like MAX-C, only without the obvious benefit for them of having a clever way to turn the effect on you by making you lose from it if they come prepared. And if you use something like Sky Scourge while Nuvia is out, every card sent form your opponents hand or field to the GY would fuel the stat gain.

@@MikeMaye220 When you put it like that, consider how powerful Skill Drain is. That effectively makes 7 similar to the Elemental Lords and Dragon Rulers since they all are monster forms/counterparts to overpowered effects. Horus 8 has no such comparison.

Great analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
just a lil oopsie but you seem to have thrown in Windrose when taling about Molunglacia for number 5 on the list.
Fun ideas tho! Thanks for the good content like always👍

Not sure if this one was mentioned before and this video reminded me of the topic; Top 10 cards which are generic but heavily feature the artwork of known archetypes.
RIP CED. Murdered by an errata it didn't deserve AT ALL.
Speaking of wich, how about making a continuation of the banned card series, discussing the errata'd cards and wether or not the errata could be undone?
Look how they massacred my boy.
CED?
@@azuredragoon2054, or hear me out. Keep it banned and don't massacre my boy.
As it is a rariety in modern yugioh, can we get a video for top 10 flip monsters
Wild monster appears works well in some of my silent swordsman builds sometimes
A wild monster appears
*wild Pokemon theme plays*
Idea if there hasn't been such vid yet:
- Best Link 1s
- Best Link 2s
- Best Synchros
- Best Halq tag-out targets
- Best 2-card combos in history
- Best Waifu archetypes
- Best Archetypes of [insert type here]
- Best Maindeck monsters that negate (interesting since they're usually bricks)

I had a fun idea for a complementary card for Sky Scourge:
_The Wicked Nuvia, Envoy Of Divinity”_ (DARK)
Level 4
Fiend/Tuner/Effect
_If this card is normal summoned, destroy it, then you can add one level 10 or higher monster from your deck or GY to your hand. Once per turn you can banish this card from your graveyard; until your next turn, monsters you control deal piercing battle damage, and you gain LP equal to any damage dealt to your opponents._
ATK/1600 DEF/1600
So for the ATK/DEF gain effect, let me use Graceful Charity as an example: Your opponent used Graceful Charity, so they place the card from their hand to the field (+200), they draw 3 cards (+600), then discard 2 cards (+400), and then the spent Graceful Charity itself goes to the graveyard (+200)….
Top 10 extra deck monsters whose summoning conditions don’t match their card type (for example synchro monsters summoned specifically by something that is not really synchro summoning like ursarctics or tzolkin or however it’s spelled)
I feel like Sorcerer of Dark Magic deserves a spot on the list.
Horus the Black Flame Dragon: Lv8 where it's similar to silent swordsman level 7, however, you choose what to negate, and it isn't once per turn at all, and it has no cost to activating its effect
But can be responded to when its effect activates, does nothing for already active spells and some spells float.
@@Prince_Eva_Huepow fair enough. Whereas silent swordsman is like the skill drain for spells. I got you
@@MikeMaye220 When you put it like that, consider how powerful Skill Drain is. That effectively makes 7 similar to the Elemental Lords and Dragon Rulers since they all are monster forms/counterparts to overpowered effects. Horus 8 has no such comparison.
you learn something everday with this game, never thought a spell like this was in the game
Video idea: Cards that somehow "break" the mechanics of the game (like pre-errata Darkness Approaches or Convulsion of Nature), or cards that led to new game mechanics being created (like Different Dimension Capsule banishing face-down).
I'm a simple man , i saw Kisikil & Lilla and i like the video.
I would love to see a video about the best generic extra deck monsters in the game!
Top ten best effects that can miss timing.
A fun list idea would be top 10 most useful monsters with adorable artwork (I'd put Laundry Dragonmaid on there personally 😉).
Same. Funny how her eff matches her personality. I need to count how many single copy cards of mine she mills when I summon her. XD
Tiragon

Can Neos Wisman be summon by wild monster appears
As good monster
Other than the fusion neo Wisman or the other way getting the card onto the field
Its probably difficult
Neo Wisman has good effect
Goes to grass: A Wild [insert Yugioh monster name here] appeared!
Sinister Serpent.
Sky Scourge Norleras is legitimately scary!
I feel unease when staring at the card's artwork!
How about top 10 "Towers" boss monsters
Ki-Sikil and Lil-La look like really good friends :)
Might as well say but top 10 targets for synchro overtake or fusion deployment
Original level ten or lower you can’t use cost down on a level eleven or twelve monster
You talked a lot about the opponent negating your WMA monsters effects but WMA makes the Summoned monster immune to card effects so they're screwed regardless
The card says it's immune to your cards, though, not your opponents'?
@@TWLSpark Yup. Your opponent can still affect it if it has no protection from them.
Can’t believe Neo Bubbleman isn’t #1
Since we go onto best targets for a card, how about top 10 targets you want to use something like Forbidden Chalice, mainly the idea of you wanting to negate the effect a card that you own, not as an opposing card.
That is if it is possibly
I suppose the ability to beat cards like Forbidden Droplet and Super Poly is why Silent Swordsman LV 7 edges out Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV 8, yes?
Yes. And already active spells
Zushin the Sleeping Giant + GB Hunter: "Allow us to introduce ourselves..."
Moon & Eclipse Books: "Don't forget to introduce me."
@@Prince_Eva_Huepow "Sorry sweetie, Zushin can't hear you, he and Vennominaga are unaffected by that kind of thing and he's too used to bullying decks that don't have Kaijus, Underworld Goddess, etc. in them to care. Hi, my name's Fushioh Richie, I enjoy summoning hordes of Zombies for free, not destorying them like that poser Ill Blud, and not letting Spells/Traps get to me. Big fan. I even learned how to do what you guys do myself! Because of the whole uh... targeting thing we wouldn't really work well together even if I couldn't *BUT* I'm sure there are other monsters that would *LOVE* to meet you."
"This is Exodia Necross (he's had a rough time since Incarnate came out.) he's a grower not a shower, this is Neos Wiseman he's a bit better at keeping himself alive while burning your opponent and keeping you healthy, pay no mind to Darkness Neosphere or the Arcana Forces, Kozmo Dark Planet's better for you to pair with if you're just looking for something big to hit your enemies with (though if you want that, little beats Machina Ruinforce). That said Dark Planet's easier to get in Master duel."
"That's Metamorphosed Insect Queen, she's always looking for people to help out the Insect types. That's Destiny Hero Plasma, likes shutting up opponents entirely rather than partially like the Water Dragon, bit of a Kleptomaniac... His cousin Dogma sadly gets pissy if you don't do things *exactly* his way. Flying Fortress SKY FIRE will probably want to talk to you, it's been devastated ever since Dark Flattop lied to it, sad story that... Ma'at is *bound* to want to show you their card trick, but to be honest, they're *useless* without help from Card Advance."
"You _would_ have seen the Sacred Beasts but ever since they got that place in Fallen Paradise they never leave and, I mean, can you _really_ blame them? Dark Armed Dragon will talk your ear off about how Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's just a wannabe and try to get you to call him "DADdy" ugh... Oh, and there are even older straight-up boomers that'll want to talk to you like Gate Guardian, PU Great Moth, Dark Sage, etc. I don't know, maybe you're into older cards, but believe me when I say you 3 can to *MUCH* better."
"So, yeah, pots are in the back, the Messenger of Peace bouncer will keep things friendly for the most part, Skill Drain will keep people from getting too out of control, watch your step in the bathroom (you don't want to slip and accidentally hit the mirror in there, trust me), oh, and be sure to try some of the sweets (imported from the Madolche Chateu!!!)"

How does “A Wild Monster Appeared” work when it’s used on “Vennominaga the deity of poisonous snakes” being summoned ?
She will still be shuffled back into the deck. Despite her being unaffected by other card effects, she can't stop A wild monster appeared since it imparts a lingering effect. Lingering effects cannot be negated.
It still goes back to the deck since the effect that forces the monster to return to the deck is applied during the special summon, which means Vennominaga's effect isn't applied yet. It's a shame, because otherwise it might make Venom decks slightly more viable.
"Lingering effect" baby
An Interesting idea for a video could be one on the top "Reversal" effect cards, Cards that cause an an effect or action to have an opposite effect than usual, like Bad Reaction to Simochi. I dont know if there are ten of those though, maybe itd be a top 5...
Probably. Still enough. To make the video longer could involve best/worst ways to use them. Like infinite sparks.
Norelas is basicaly a 1card "Envoy of the end" +1
By far the best art of modern yugioh.
One card that comes to mind that would be considered a guilty pleasure is Fushioh Richie, it was a pain to get it out, now with this card, it's a breeze.
Best bit is, unlike the others on this list, you can make him not go back to the deck at the end of the turn. Why isn't he in the list at least for that?
@@leojamesquiambao1047 yeah, at least an honorable spot, the moment he's flip down, he stays.

I wonder if Wisel would get an honorary mention for the MD Synchro Event
I now want to play a wild monster appears forever
Prediction princess tarotei. You can flip itself back facedown during your opponents turn to prevent it from being cycled back
A Wild Monster Appears! is my favourite spell card just on art alone. Looks like a scene from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
I think Ogdoabyss would have made a great addition to the list.
you almost make me want to go on master duel and make these kind of deck
there's a way to keep the monsters on the field i use g.b hunter gb hunter's effect is that cards can not be send back to the deck you also need call of the haunted or dragon oasis i f the monster is warrior you can use super team buddy force unite for a bit more of consistency in my case i use this combo to summon zushin the sleeping giant as a back up plan
As long as you keep them all safe you're okay.
@@Prince_Eva_Huepow well you only need gb hunter for the end of your opponents turn after that you can get rid of it on your turn the effect of wild monster appears won't happen i usually use gb hunter as a material in my turn i also use trap trix to look for the traps faster but yes is a very difficult combo to pull and you need to protect the traps and is more difficult if you are trying to summon a non warrior type monster cuz you need gb hunter on the grave before using wild monster appears i recommend to use it as backup plan or on a fun deck
@@l30nq41 Or you can flip the summoned monster face-down.
@@Prince_Eva_Huepow it could work but it would have to be in you opponents turn because wild monster appears makes the summoned monster unaffected by the effects of your cards, except for its own effects
So probably if you do it in yours opponents turn it could work also it depends on the monster i know for a fact that in zushin , silent swordsman and venominagga would not work and i recommend you not trying to summon venominagga with wild monster appears it's a pain in the butt even with worms but going back to the topic yes probably in other monsters would work
@@l30nq41 Stardust Assault Mode plus Moon Book is okay as long as you have Moon set before your opponent's turn.
You forgot the most important one "Zushin the sleeping giant"
Spot number 9 is used as “Evilly Matched”
Yet another video making me wish they didn't introduce link monsters. Or at least, makes me wish they were introduced in a different way. The addition of synchro monsters didn't instantly make obsolete a bunch of archetypes using tributes on the field, but link monsters changed things up a lot.
