I can actually outrun the cops, but the helicopters never got easier, and the rhinos and spike strips only got harder (higher speed leaves less time to react)
This game is truly the Dying Light of racing game. It went from cool and fun race, to a normal cop chase, and then full on horror. That last minutes when you barely escape with only like 1hp left and must go through the small hill forest to avoid cops is really heart pumping. That chase theme also amazing. Really makes you feel like a prey.

I stopped using the RSR 2.8 for MOST of my races (except for the Resort Circuit in Palm City Raceway) due to BAD drivers & misusing it; now it's just the car that no one owns since getting it is going to take a while except me: Ferrari 488 Pista. Achieve ALL Ultimate plus parts then swap in the 7.0 L V12 from the Aston Martin Vulcan, Pro race suspension, Elite race tires, Pro race differential, Elite clutch, Elite gearbox, & you got yourself a good car to lose the cops. Switch to Manual transmission to shift faster bc the rpms stop at 8000 so shift at exactly 7000 rpm to catch OTHER players lacking in the straights & corners; it really works & the handling is perfect. P.S. - This is the ONLY car that can catch up with the Pagani Huayra BC
When i was in a chase like that i was on critical ,with 7 cops behind me and the helicopter over me i flipped into the lake or a river.and i thought that was it but there was a black screen for like 3 minutes then i respwaned all the way across the map in the main garage.this saved me.
A little tip to escape cops faster is to go to the palm city circuit and go to the ramp that leads outside the circuit and because all the cops are inside the circuit you escape
I know the best place to shake them all off 1 go to where the big white ball house is where they track satellites and where the solos panels are then wen u can make it there drive off a very vary high place they will follow you… depends Knock out as many as possible:)

Your acceleration isn't that high which means you can take advantage by leaving the acceleration and slamming it after turning sharp.
If my car not upgraded enough I don’t even bother to try to race at night because these cops are no joke
