The Chatot pitches makes this so much easier. I remember doing RNG back when Platinum was new and all we had to go off was coin flips. I also remember page flips was one of the only ways to advance frames and how many pokemon you had in your party after walking a certain number of steps advanced the frame. This makes me want to get back into RNG in these games
This must have been what did too. I went to check and I was rnging in DPPT for egg shinies in 2010 and I just remember doing a lot of coin flips lol. And I was like 12/13 when I was messing with it too
@@imablisy Sorry for being late to the video but im looking for a 6IV Smeargle. The thing is that my TID is 05066 and the PokeFinder automatically turns it to 5066. Does it matter or works the same? EDIT: Btw it doesn't let me download the EonTimer on your Drive EDIT2: I've been trying for 2 hours and even with the tutorial I don't know what im doing and nothing goes right...
this popped up in my recommended and tbh i dont plan on doin this but i sat and watched this entire thing lmfaoooo this is cool asf that it really works in the end and its a really interesting way to get certain mons def got my sub
Notes if your trying to get a poke radar exclusive pokemon. Make sure the pokeradar check box is ticked for you game profile. Also the patch of grass that shakes needs to be one with the yellow sparkles (not the shiny sparkle patch just the "extra" shake) other wise the Pokémon becomes whatever Pokémon normally takes up that encounter slot on that route. To do this once you have confirmed you are on the correct seed choose different advancement frames to activate the pokeradar until you find one that gives you a yellow patch close to you.
Thanks for the video! I have a few questions: 1) What if i want to aim for a specific radar pokemon (flashy patches)? I guess that I should aim for the encounter slot relative to my target, but how can I make sure that after the first reset there is at least a flashy patch to use? For example, this did not happen in the video, in which 4 normal patches have appeared. 2) How many advances are caused when walking in the grass? 2 as for turning? 3) Is it possible to RNG shiny patches and is it similar to this?
For the flashy patches you basically just have to make the Pokeradar trigger at a different frame. The current frame your on picks the locations and type of patches. So just advance 1 by 1 until you find it. Yeah it’s 2 for both. Shiny patches are possible but there’s literally no point and it’s a bit more involved, I don’t intent to cover it
Hey man, thanks for all of your content, i seem to be having an issue with a Ditto on route 218, ive managed to hit the seed pretty consistently however once getting to the advancement needed, i hit a Shellos instead. Is there any more tips to do this manip with pokeradar exclusive pokemon or when the grass patches dont shake near your character?
I've been trying to catch a Ditto in route 218 Pokemon Diamond, I get the seed and two advances before as stated in your video, but when I get into the patch there's a different Pokemon, don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Can you also do a gen 4 gift pokémon tutorial? Like in HGSS the starters from Oak and Steven or the fossils. Or could this be done with the same as an static encounter?
Hey blisy, do you think you can do a video on how to RNG manipulate the IVs coming from Gen 1/2 VC Pokémon that are transferred from the Poke Transporter through to Pokémon Bank?
this is literally impossible without the cheats and hacks he has in the back, timing my ass, I’ve followed along flawlessly but nothing. And no, I don’t want to download some randoms cheats and hacks onto my computer, do it without all those tools and let’s see how easy it is. use your guide video and see how bullshit it is, without tools and cheats, and then say all you need is the game.

Thank you! I did what he said and got a shiny numel while I wanted a Torkoal.
@@Jeff-tc2ze excellent taste in Pokémon friend. You can imagine my pain when my shiny ditto became a wingull lmao
@@aarondraws7699 Dang thats worst than my situation lol. I gave up on the hunt and eventually got it in emerald.
Im still not getting the pokeradar exlcusive ditto, but a floatzel. and im hitting the bright patches
I chuckled at 10:30 😂 after doing my first rng today, cute charm SID and shiny starter, the beeps do scare me lol
I don't even do Sinnoh RNG like that I'm just giving you the watch time :)
Still waiting on that ORAS TID/SID rng manip guide
Thank you!! It’ll come eventually

Great video. These are so interesting to watch : )
Thanks :)
will this work without the pokeradar? say i'm wanting a shiny sneasel, can i still follow this and get one?
I love the huge red arrow on the thumbnail lmao
It points to the shiny patch
Really good video! Do you know if it works for PAL versions? Or something changes advancing?
It works

Can’t do it without hacks so no, sorry.
im a chansey
What's the catch?
Pun intended.
What do you mean
You need to have your ds connected to your computer so you can run the hacks and tools in the background.
@@Ripdooder221 not true, this is perfectly doable on unmodded hardware. You just need to get good at timing it.
Oh wow
LETS GO
