Ive had the slx dc 151 hg for 2-3 years now and it is still working great. I also just got the curado dc 201 hg a month ago and its also super nice. They're my favorite reels i own.
I like my SLX DC because it has similar or same DC functions of the Curado DC but it’s lighter. But having recently purchased Metanium DC XG and HH - Man these are on another level.
@humbugvideos the Metanium MGL is pretty pricey. I only have one and I have it on my Shimano Expride 6'-10" M jerkbait rod. I have (5) Curado 150 MGL's . Great reels for the money. I also have 2 Diawa Tatula SV TW 103 HS reels. Though these are great reels, too but I prefer Shimano because how they feel/fit in my palm. Do you miss California?🤣
@humbugvideos I believe you said where you moved to but I won't put it on here if you didn't want people to know. I have a lot of friends who moved there too. Love it there if it's where I think it is...
Shimano Shimano Shimano! I don’t have this particular reel but to ask if it’s worth $200 is like asking if a Toyota is worth the $! Personally, I don’t spend $200 on reels. I have a few cheaper SLX’s and they are still going strong after years of use. I just retired one of my Shimano Sedona 2500 spinning reels after 20 years of fishing fresh and saltwater! Moral of the story… Shimano!
Bought mine with my first trump check. Bought a cheap pole and nice reel. Best way to go. Cant beat the bass pro rods.

@@d10dozerman2 No beating the Metanium!

@@d10dozerman2 wow, that’s an epic setup. I’m jealous! I do miss it (especially the ocean), but there are things here I really enjoy as well!

I’d say it’s worth $ I’m personally don’t care for the sound but everything else is great
can you give an honest review on shimano miravel 2022?
i want to buy it for saltwater use but i was in tight spot between miravel or nasci
New sub here. Love your videos man. Can you do a review on the Shimano Miravel spinning reel?
@@DethcrowGames I’d love to! Hopefully in the future 👍🏽
@@DethcrowGames He has a lot of great gear reviews. Check them all out if you have time.
@@d10dozerman2That’s what I’ve been doing lately. They’re super useful especially the pond prowler videos since I just bought one last weekend.
How do you think the SLX DC compares to the Tatula SV TW 103?
@@itsMyRevenge Can’t go wrong with either, both are great. That Diawa T-wing system is pretty cool, but I personally am a Shimano guy
