My name is Charlie and I am disabled. I live with chronic illness, I have a severe form of Psoriatic Arthritis and its crap! I am in pain all the time and always battling fatigue. This totally relates to me, I’m constantly being told I need a shower, I ask do I smell and the answer is normally no so I say why do a need to shower, I have more drive to end my life rather than washing
The news about Rishi Sunak has said today has put me in a dark place. I feel like he's trying to scapegoat us and make us look like we are wasting people money 😢
What you read is in the right leaning media outlets, they are just trying to muster votes for the tories and the people who usually vote Conservatives were complaining that they weren't Conservative enough, ie, evil enough. So they try to make anyone who claims benefits as traitor type characters. If you notice the comments sections on these articles are mainly bots saying scripted responses that are in favour of it. The tories won't be in power long enough to implement any changes. Just make sure you vote them out when the time comes.

Yea you where on my Google news feed too. Well done you I've got brain damage from viral encephalomyelitis 3 years ago and it effects my life in many ways but was unaware of pip until 5 months ago when I should have been claiming 4 years ago but they don't tell you this. Keep up the good work

I pay for special post 📫 when dealing with dwp! And you have to be careful as they twist what you say. For instance get full care but no mobility component

Hi, firstly, thank you for all your videos and effort, it’s amazing to have someone such as yourself to help those of us in need.
Secondly, I had my MR rejected despite overwhelming medical evidence and my demonstrating that the assessment and the decision don’t match, I even provided a transcript of the call and highlighted what I’d said when explaining my situation, they have still claimed things like “you need an aid or appliance to cook a simple meal” medical evidence, my conditions and the information given to assessor contradict that, I explained that for safety I do not and am not able to stand and cook.
I looked at your consultation page, couldn’t see an option to help with tribunal, is that something you do?

Hi charlie i dont wash for days i shower once a week becouse im not motivated..my daughter probroms me to shower. Im incontinace so iv had accidents so i wear pads all the time.iv even weed my bed so im washing mg sheets all the time..im just waiting for my reveiw which i sent my forms recorded deliverly thanks for your guid
Talking about recorded delivery, I used to physically take forms to hand in at the Job Centre which would also go missing through their internal mail system! Yes, recorded delivery only these days. It's getting a bit expensive lately.

I'm so glad I've found you. I have Autism, adhd and Dyslexia and struggled to fill out my pip form. Ended up going to tribunal and getting the lowest mobility payment but nothing for mobility.
I'm anxious as I know that the award only lasts for a year. Do you then have to reapply or do you just have to just tell them if anything had changed? The main thing that had changed is I now have an adhd diagnosis.

Due to arthritis(feet, ankles, knees, hands and lumbar spondylitis) I haven’t been able to have a bath in over two years. Last time I tried I was stuck in the bath and it took all my efforts to get out after about 40 minutes. Now I’ll have a flannel wash. As I’m scared to get in my bath as I live on my own.

awesome video Charlie - keep up the good work. As regards the Daily fail your services would not be necessary if the government did a proper job and your clients do not have to pay your fees so why are they whingeing?
Do they have questions were your to scared to use you're shower and bath because of Dwp cut backs and sanctioning you?

Thanks again for these videos. This relates to me a lot. I hardly every shower because I don't feel I need to and haven't been told that I smell or anything. Other than brushing my teeth and even so, that tends to only be a quick brush. Could you do some videos also for the work capability assessments too? I feel a lot of this could relate to that too. Thanks for this, i use a shower a stool, which gives me the same points. I have a toilet frame, and use pads, same number of points. I said "No change" on my recent review form, apart from a hospital operation. They got it by Christmas, still no news :(
Know you have arthritus is it rumitoid? I been told I got arthritus and it would just get progressively worse. I have been suffering back pain and can pin point where it is sometimes I can walk the dog it gets better other times it can make it worse its a total paradox? Is there anything I can ask for for the back pain that's not going to have bad side effects? And due to losing my pip I can't afford to feed the gas meter and I think its making things worse.

I got the seatbelt question. My answer was NO then she kept at it, and i finally said if i had to.. I royaly fked up, i never wear one in the back. But i got a horrible imagie off my crushing the driver because i dont wear one.. why do they ask this
Need some advice my daughter 13 now has very bad autism as a result she is now homeschooled dla has repeatedly denied dla we have been to tribunal who said autism is not a disability as a result dla cant be paid, my younger daughter has autism and recieves it we are at our wits end dont know who to turn too.

Yes, you can use the envelope and pay the price difference to upgrade the postage service.
Is pip the same as Adult disability payment?
I fear I completely understated the impact my condition has on my day, I filled the form in as fast as possible without really thinking fully about the questions but that's me I get frustrated and bored reading all the intricacies of the questions.. Ex I wrote 15 mins for a shower I didn't take into account the pre and post shower time with what I need to do, I timed myself the other day 1hr 51mins for a shower and 2 mins 49 to put on socks..

Is probably the £650 she allegedly charges despite apparently losing her home in another video. People on benefits can't afford that kind of money. Just someone else trying to get rich off the suffering of others if it's true.

@@khawksey5466 I had my assessment today. Sneaky beggars constantly trying to trip me up.. when I called them out they threatened to cancel the assessment meaning I'd have the added stress of going through it all again later. If I fail I will appeal it.
doesnt matter what you say if they choose to ignore you and what you tell them. They asked if i had a blue badge and i told them i had one. they followed this up by saying a blue badge has nothing to do with a pip claim. WHY Oh WHY did they ask then. ridiculous
On appeal i was awarded my PIP claim back by a tribunal on the 06 December '22. The award covered the dated from 09/12/'21 until 08/12/'24. However i hve now recieved another PIP award review form that i have to return byt he 08/05/'24 (some seven months before my award ends!) and if i do not return this form by the 08 May '24 i might have my money stopped. I ranf the PIP helpline as from past experience once tjey receive the form they awarded me zero points (hence the tribunal) and srilopped my money immediately; a question that i have is, are they allowed to end my PIP claim before the date that the tribunal stated that i am awarded up to? (08/12/'24)
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated, as i am now in a heightened state of anxiety and now feel there is no safeguarding to the decisions made by the tribunals. Thank you in advance and everyone take care of yourselves as much as you're able.
You usually get a review a year before yr award ends ....its not personal just go with the system ...nothing is worth being afraid of .....its only money after all ....jesus loves you and will always look after you penniless or not
Don't panic your payments won't stop. I recieved my renewal form in September 2022 - a whole year before renewal date of September 2023. I returned it in their time frame of 2 weeks so they got it in October 2022. They then sent me a letter in June 2023 saying "Your PIP award is not yet complete, to make sure you continue to get your payments we have extended your PIP award until August 2024" (that's word for word, I have the letter in my hands as I type!) They eventually responded to my renewal in October 2023 - a full year after receiving it! So dont panic, they won't stop your payments, it's just an empty threat to make sure you return your documents.

A quick question re: mental health - do you need to be diagnosed by a GP to have a successful claim? If one has avoided their GP as a consequence of their anxiety & depression will this result in an unsuccessful claim? Or is regular CBT sessions sufficient evidential basis?

Get evidence It really helps in supporting your application.evidence on CBT. And ask for a letter from cbt team what your suffering with, why you have gone for cbt support, etc ur gp should also give print outs on your patient reports in what's been discussed with you and gp. Ask them for it.its within your right you can ask for this. And within from what date until what date you want these reports. They're in your patient records. Easily accessed with gp. And make copies when you send them to pip for your records. If your taking medication for your illness give that as evidence to pip again don't forget to keep copies of everything you have sent. Hope my advice helps
Oh forgot to mention did you do a questionnaire with gp when your mentioning how your feeling, on how many days your feeling, how much or little your eating sleeping, going out, etc
it's a rating from think 1 to 10 being 1 as very low mood and 10 being your ok. It gives gp an idea how bad your illness is. That's wen they take it from there if needing support they give you that. But this questionnaire form is crucial to fill out. They should've given that to you if you have already mentioned your condition.
My situation is really complicated not only am I fighting pip at a pending tribunal I am struggling to manage and don't have anybody .Adult social services have had five referrals from me an at my wits end as I can't walk .My diet has been absolute horrendous I'm diabetic .I don't know who to turn to right now . I don't have anybody ?Can you help me please ?

Hope you are doing ok. Heard LBC slagging you off this morning. Making it sound like you are the one giving “the tricks” away to people claim money we shouldn’t get! Anyone just has to watch one of your videos to see that’s not the case and explaining each point so people can be honest and not leave anything out is what the DWP should be doing. Hope all this doesn’t knock you over. You really don’t deserve it. You are really valued for what you do.

I wouldn't say it's ridiculous, it's a free market economy. Solicitors charge more per day. You're paying the money for a guaranteed small income for at least 2 or 3 years....

I know a person who is on the fringes of her inner circle. They have often questioned her claim for pip, and she definitely teaches people to exaggerate. She has severe fatigue but turns up at every tribunal. She is the very reason why DWP is fed up. Fraud
@apollocreed5391 charge nothing at all!! There is so much help and guidance out there for free, including her videos!. All you have to do is a quick search, I found a website dedicated to my condition and how to answer... it certainly didn't cost £650. I'm not sure if you understand that many, many people, don't have £650 lying around to pay a woman to fill in a form. I'm not sure what world you live in, but it's definitely not the one most of us live in. If I was charging thar much, I certainly wouldn't be pleaded poverty like she has done!
Hopefully PIP will get reformed, its beyond ridiculous now. Too many people have learned to get round the regulations and rules. Not fair on genuine claimants , like my severely disabled Son with Tuberous Sclerosis. This Country has gone to sxxt , you've really done us proud edging this Country a little more into the gutter....you must feel so smug and proud, not to mention rich 😅🎉
It's gone beyond ridiculous
Pip has been reformed twice. This is the new and improved and harder to get disability benefits. What you want is what other daily hailers want, and that's work camps and shower blocks. Pip won't be changed for a good few years yet, it will be a labour government next and probably for the next 30 years, which hopefully will give us more money
There are regulations for a reason and sadly they are flouted by the DWP who have once again been called to the United Nations Committee over their treatment of genuine disabled claimants. You’re not the only person in the uk with a genuine case. Many others are genuine yet still get turned down and are left struggling. It seems this lady is trying to help those genuine cases and it is a sad state of affairs that many need such help.
I'm wondering whats next after all this tabloid hounding of Charlie, even other TH-camr's are jumping on the bandwagon and saying negative things... where's the solidarity, the all for one and one for all? As for Rishi's news, what a joke the bloke has zero clue about anything; he isn't an elected Prime Minister and won't be in power much longer.
