this make me think of my mum when she was alive she had to fight for her pip and she had Multiple sclerosis so she could not do anything herself and was in alot of pain on a bad day these idiots have no idea how hard normal stuff is to do

Hi. My husband is very ill since 2017 and he was given pip for the rest of his life. Then we had a face to face we told the truth to the woman, she wrote everything down. The we had a letter in the post, that woman did write what we was saying she totally lied about my husbands illness and what he could do. So every 3 years we gotta reapply for pip. We are dreading it next time they came out to see him. 😢 Because he's even worse now.😢 Great video by the way. 👏🏼

Hi, I have worked full time my entire life, now age 62. I had a fall and injured my back and was diagnosed via MRI with two prolapsed discs and a compressed nerve. I have seen a Neurosurgeon who has given me some treatment options but my recovery time will be 18 to 24 months. I have been on sickness leave for 4 months and this has significantly impacted my emotional mental heath. I have a history of childhood abuse trauma and I have been having counselling. My counsellor has written to my GP recommending a full PTSD psychological assessment. I have my assessment at the end of this month. I have received the PIP forms and feel overwhelmed. I’m very grateful for your advise here as I have no idea where to start. X

I'm waiting for a mandatory reconsideration at the minute and I can confirm that who ever did the initial assessment 100% did not even read my form they said I seemed fine to speak on the phone when I didn't even speak on the phone my mum did they've lied a few times and clearly haven't even read the sheet I sent

I live on two too three hours sleep a nite like you I am in constant pain and constantly fatigued,I have multiple health conditions and for me I will be glad when my life is over ,no more pain or sleepless nites

I don't go anywhere without His Nibs. Not even if my life depended on it.

I have a leg discrepancy, sholiosis, two ruptured discs as a consequence and a brain injury but have failed X3 times on pip assessments

i believe they've done this to my partner. they have upheld their stuff for the MRC and now to make it all worse by the fact the NHS has recently lost my partners medical records so we can't even get it to tribunal because we can't get the records we need.

Those horrible lying and deceiving cretins on the other side of the phone pulled this with my severely disabled mother, had one of her payments cancelled and almost put her in the hospital with stress. I would love to know who was on the other side of the phone that day because they not only ignored what my mother said but also decided to completely fabricate a bunch of points they didnt even ask her in the first place. Those people who carry out the interviews deserve nothing but sadness in life.

PIP NOW HAS PROFESSIONAL FORM FILLERS FOR A BOB OR TWO***YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR PIP FORM AT AN APPOINTED HOUSE AND PICK IT UP LATER ***FULLY FILLED IN BRITAIN IS BROKE ******YET SUNAK BROUGHT THIS PIP OUT WE HAVE PEOPLE WITH BUSINESSES PAYING FOR A PIP FORM TO BE FILLED IN IT SMACKS OF FURLOUGH FRAUD TO ME

Dont tell them you have good days tell them every day is bad by varying answers and your situation your asking to fail trust me ive been on pips years.

My husband has pip but he has deteriorated and has dementia and Alzhimers,but i havnt told them he is worse in case they stop his money.I need to go to the citizens advice to help me.

They cannot, I have a daughter with learning difficulties ,she also has no smell,she cannot smell burning,and gets confused with time. She may say it's 20 minutes but she may cook it for 2 hours or 20 seconds!!!!

Does anybody know how long mandatory reconsiderations are taking at the moment?

Thanks Charlie for your help and info but I must point out. I was that intent on listening to you that I had not noticed your underwear on the radiator, until that is you mentioned them, then they was all I could see :) . Keep up the great work.

People abuse the system and get the highest pip. Those with no energy can't fight back, express their medical condition properly and no help is available. I've been through hell with dwp. Despite all the evidence, they deliberately didn't process my claim properly, and my tribunal was cancelled twice. I couldn't prove anything. Was ill, in bed, suffered in silence for many years.

It's so embarrassing, but I too am on pip, i have no choice. I made so much effort to get well, went from hospital to hospital, my life is ruined because of my health. I'm the only one in the family who's poor, and I cannot work. I had two foot operations, cysts on my brain causing migraines, had at least 10 blood transfusions. I lost so much money trying to have different treatments, and i get no help from anyone. This could affect my claim. Tbh I'm worried 😢😢😢 I live on my own with no one helping.

Hi Charlie I have followed your advice and my partner won pip for his dyslexia a massive thank you don't change and keep up your work 👍 question is though do you cover areas of allergies for children under 16 my child has multiple severe allergies and food is so expensive for her I did apply once but failed wonder if it's the same concept for applying for children

I'm astonished youre ticking multiple answers. I thought you ticked only ONE answer that fits you? No other guide tells you its multiple choice!

I live in pyjamas. My outside clothes look like new because they are never worn. PIP do not like you wearing nice clothes for their interviews .

i have heart failure and told them that i am unable to cook as i go dizzy and prone to falls and i nearly fell on the hob they wrote back to me and called me a liar and said that there was no proof of this everything i told them that happens to me they came back telling me i was a liar

I went to a tribunal and got a 10 year award, mandatory consideration you may as well piss into the wind

I feel like I’m being punished or discriminated for being’s disabled, I agree that the assessments needs fixing, but the vouchers, thats ridiculous, I already hate my life as it is now we will be expected to live on a sub system of cash you can only use here or there

The illegal immigrants are getting every benefit they can dream of when they step into this country. Yet the indigenous people of the land with severe disabilities are struggling to get justice via the system

I have been denied because the person that did not interview me does not believe i have the problems that i told the interviewer. I have to appeal again for the same reason, but my problems have got worse. My first interview was cancelled by a different interviewer because i got upset and stressed.

I failed a lot of stuff like this ,you feel like you have to prove your life matters and you can still function to a certain degree but it may only happen you can do things once or twice a week,and you say that and they take it as you can do it all week long and make a career about it.springing the questions on you doesn't help .

Thank you for these videos. I use to work in PIP and UC and then social housing and you're right, it's the wasters who ruin it for the legitimate people. Seen it daily with people who just sit on the dole day in day out for decades and their parents were the same. Anyway, I am currently applying for bipolar type 1 psychosis and your videos have been a heaven send.

Can you help me? Is there a way I can contact you please? I was getting it then added two additional illnesses and was denied it after that assessment. She flat out lied in her assessment. Not only that, she cancelled the assessment appointment via text and then called at an unscheduled time and when I said I don’t have anyone with me because this wasn’t scheduled she just disregarded my request to reschedule so I could have a support person. The mandatory reassessment was also denied even though my doctor sent in a letter disputing everything the assessor claimed were the reasons she denied me. I can’t even bring myself to read the new denial it has caused me to slip into a serious state of depression.

The system doesnt always help, but people like you do.

Do you think the government is going to stop pip cash payments, like they claim. Apparently stopping cash payments for OCD,, PTSD, anxiety and depression. Instead replace cash for vouchers for counselling.

Hi charlie, my deadline day is 14th July for my pip renewal form to be sent back, im posting it today and thinking of sending it first class recorded, will it get to them in time this way? I dont want to risk the freepost second class. Thanks xx

Makes you laugh that they say it’s not about condition or diagnosis BUT when you get the pip form back and they decline and say “you said you find …. Difficult, but you haven’t been diagnosed” literally what was said in the pip form

Really appreciate the content. I do have a question. Until recently i was a chef, i've working to a very high, 2 michelin star standard with the likes of Tom Kerridge & Phil Howard. But after 10 year of PPMS i have had to limp away from my 30 year career. Can i cook a simple meal? YES! Unquestionable. But the loss of ability & livelihood is crippling, not to mention the pain & fatigue, depression & anxiety. Am i any less worthy of support for stubbornly refusing to hang up my apron especially when nutrition is a vital part of my healing and hopefully can one day provide a service to others and an income for myself. Any advice would be very welcome as i know i'm going to struggle with this.

Hi Charlie I need your advice if possible I have been awarded pip enhanced mobility but nothing for the daily living allowance and I deserve and qualify for Sala more than the mobility what can I do should I appeal or leave it please help
